On a 2015 Toyota Tacoma long bed, would this rack system support a Freespirt Recreation High Country Series Premium 80" rooftop tent and it's occupants?
Yes, the OverHaul HD is well suited for roof top tents, the rack provides 800 pounds of static (parked) load capacity.
Could you mount a small 2,000 lb pulling capacity warn winch to the rack for pulling in a kayak that weighs 150lbs? The winch weighs about 30lbs
While I've never done so myself I don't see why you couldn't do something like this. Without knowing more information this is a tough one to answer fully, as it will really depends on the bars and how they attach to the vehicle. I'd probably say clip on style roof racks would be a no-go. Just a few things to consider. Your winch will be way stronger than the cross bars and you will have to be very careful as the winch will have 0 issues ripping the cross bars off your roof if something gets jammed. I would always recommend a hand winch for cross bars to be safe. You may need to fabricate the mounts for a winch as well. I imagine our Austin and Denver stores get a lot of winch based questions though if you need more specific help.

I have a Tacoma 5’ bed and a tool box 2’, would I be able to hook the towers and the install the box after the front towers are installed? Will this give me at least some room between the end of the tool box and the back towers. Any experience on this type of set up?
Hello. The toolbox and Yakima Towers can not occupy the same area on the bed rail, we do not have a solution for this combination.
Does Yakima make any kind of insert to fill the space in the mounting pads when the racks are removed? Would give a cleaner look and also make a nice little pad for setting stuff. 🤷🏼♂️

Are you able to use a bed cover with this?
Yes, using the Yakima Tonneau Kit 1, but it must be a very specific bed cover, the Retrax XR, it does not work with any other bed cover.

Hello. This video details the fit on a Toyota Tacoma which uses a Track Kit 1, this is sold separately from the towers. If the fitting is to a standard truck bed, it needs four mounting j-clamp for OverHaul HD and OutPost HD. Includes one j-clamp, one M12 screw, and one M12 square washer part #8881008

Yes, it will! The installation will be a bit different but the overall concepts will still apply
What length load bars would you recommend for a Tacoma and a small Yakima HD Skyrise RTT?
The Yakima recommended load bars will do the trick. You can also go longer if you want to carry more gear.

Hello. Adjustment varies with each truck, the Tacoma short bed has minimal adjustment, however, it is possible to flip the position on the bases for the offset to be reversed. Thanks!
