Thanks so much for watching! What are your thoughts on Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers? What would you have wanted to happen in a 5th movie if the series continued? Let me know!
Thanks again for shedding light on Acceleracers! We as a fandom can’t believe how far it’s come from only just 5 years ago. Real life Teku Deora 2 at live events and more!
One thing I would love to see happening is Lani seeing the the "Lost" drivers coming back as Silencerz. So much potential, did they rescue in the original opening of the realm? Did they find a way to get into already closed realms? A lot of questions, no answers.
Taro's 2nd run in the water realm was my fave part of the series. Perfect blend of music and tension. As a kid , I was amazed by his driving. No hyperpods, no accelechargers! Nothing but skill!
It's finally here. I feel like I could cry. ACCELERACERS finally getting some attention outside of the Hotwheels community. I'm so happy right now man. This series holds a special place in my heart and is forever GOATED
This series made my life. It brought me into cars, mechanics, and my hobbies. I make custom Acceleracers diecasts for the still VERY active community and even 3D print props. Cant say it enough this series made me who I am. Thanks for bringing it back to the light!
The perfect example of a series taking itself so much more serious and dark than you’d expect for something made to sell toy cars. I love these movies so much and rewatch them every year. I also used to own the surprisingly in-debt and obscure card game.
I cant wait for Vulkens Fog Realm fan-film to come out. I’ve been helping out with the sound, and it is a sight to behold, and beautiful that so many can come together to keep the story alive all these years later.
with hotwheels unleashed showing more and more love to acceleracers it really makes me happy since finally after years of neglect the Fandom and love for the series is being recognized by Mattel and hopefully if hotwheels unleashed acceleracers dlcs do good maybe we'll get a remastered version with a proper ending^^
I may be looking at this series with rose tinted glasses, but I genuinely love this series and although the animation of the characters don’t hold up all that well, I love the characters and their development throughout the movies, the different worlds were really cool to look at and it was awesome when you realized they reached different lessons about racing. I’m glad this series is getting a little more attention now.
Animation may not be top tier but the story was goated. The fact they didn't finish the series, still pisses me off to this day. I rewatched the movies and shorts recently.
I love hot wheels acceleracers! Massively underrated and still hate that we never got a proper finale. Can only hope that they revisit the property again someday! A man can dream ☺️
@@scottjs5207 another underrated gem! I loved that show as well. They just announced the third film in production, Tron: Ares. I’m hoping it makes up for them cancelling the series prematurely
It still stings a ton that they cancelled the series, especially at such a massive cliffhanger. At least finish the story before shelving it! Poor Kadeem. He's one of the nicest guys in the series, and yet he suffers the most. There is a part of me that hopes he survived the fall, but as he said, "Kadeem is gone" so maybe death is probably for the best to end the suffering. I was shocked to learn how huge the community is even now, making fan games, mods, and other things. I was so excited that they included cars from this series into Hot Wheels Unleashed (I need to play the 2nd one), and you had fans recreating the designs of the cars and realms in the game. I'm glad to see the community going. Oh, and the soundtrack is awesome. Can't forget that. RIP Kirby Morrow. You'll be missed.
I’ve spend over 15 years trying to block out this cliffhanger and now it’s all coming back. I feel like Danny Devito. I don’t like it, I don’t like to think about it. It still hurts. Great video thanks for bringing back the memories.
At some point I was able to make peace with the cliffhanger. Like it just keeps the wonder going, and the more questions I have, the more I get to think about and express interest in the films.
I have a feeling that if Mattel decided to continue the Acceleracers movies after Ultimate Race, they would've featured the realms from the card game (Reactor, Wind, Chrome, Solar, Desert etc.).
One thing that i liked is that on the first episode,if you look closely at the scene where vert's dad is doing his luggage, you can clearly spot a purple car key.
Now THIS is what for me into this Hot Wheels movie series. I actually enjoyed it and I remember rewatching them two years ago on TH-cam and I still enjoyed them years later.
Man, AcceleRacers was really good, and this is from someone who's not into Hot Wheels. Even after all these years, the lesson of Vert winning the last race because he used his own skills still resonates with me to this day.
i think it's unbelievable how well acceleracers holds up as a story. It's just so _real_ as far as characters, their relationships, and their challenges go, that it's genuinely good writing, worth revisiting all these years later. I sincerely wish we could've seen the series come to a proper end.
This show is so GOOD it has no right to be this good but it is and I think it stands the test of time. The characters the driving the cliffhanger it’s all done masterfully and we never got an ending
I love this series to death, I've listened to the soundtrack for years, I grew up loving cars and driving due to these movies and my father being a Mechanic, as some fans may see, it even inspired the name of my youtube channel, Synkro, this series will always be special to me and I to this day collect cars from the series even in repaints and go back and watch the movies every now and then, even have future plans to get my own personal car styled after Synkro at least in livery.
I liked this series better than World Race because the time limit added a whole new level of stakes. The tracks in World Race look dangerous but nothing in those places is actively out trying to kill the participants.
This series definetly had such a hard cult fans especially how amazing Lore, characters, and cars Also, some fanservice in Hotwheels Unleashed brought to treat yourself, even tho the series ended in cliffhanger.
Heck yeah, I remember owning one of the dvds. So I only got see part of it. Leaving it basically on a cliffhanger, until years later when it randomly popped into my head and I watched the whole thing here on TH-cam.
It’s good to see Acceleracers gettin covered, I really loved how the characters are but I still feel bad for Brian Kadeem’s character since he was a cool character including his car
Yes this is what we need right now. Decently sized TH-camrs talking about hot wheels acceleracers! Because this franchise is kinda on life support. So we need more people to spread the word, of the greatest racing show of all time!
AcceleRacers was really awesome, it had a great mix of action and personal stakes. I understand that there was supposed to be a finale, but I still think that the ending really closed up enough loose endings and let the audience imagine what would happen next.
Thank you so much for the Highway 35 and Acceleracers videos. I've said it before, but it's always a treat to see more people shine a light on and give the series a try.
I'm sick of hearing about great shows getting cancelled for not being supported enough. But that may be the first time I ever heard about something being cancelled for being way too good. lmao
THANK YOU! this has been a series stuck in my head since I was like a toddler, it came on Cartoon Network and NONE OF MY SIBLINGS REMEMBERED IT even though we got all excited and watched it together. I thought it was a fever dream but Im like 90% sure this is it
These were my fav as a kid. And honestly id watch em again as an adult. They still seem pretty solid and fun. With all the live action reboots going on rn, makes me think how cool it could be if they gave it that treatment.
All these years later, it still amazes me how shockingly good this series was. If i had a nickel for every time an extremely well made, early CGI series ended on a massive cliffhanger, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't alot but it's weird that it happened twice.
I loved going through the bonus features and learning about the cars and learning about the card game. Flathead Fury is a personal favorite and great to seeing people making custom cars and games for acceleracers. in a way it is like Bionicle to Lego a golden era of good memories and great stories. A franchise truly never dies if people remember it and love it from childhood and Beyond.
what a throwback. the biggest thing i always remember is how tense it got every time the sweeper truck appears and chases them around. reminded me of the sonic adventure truck chase
I loved these movies, i have all 4 of them on dvd and marathon them once or twice a year. I’m sad that it got left open ended but i still love it all the same.
I loveddddd this show as a kid. I still have them all on DVD as a 30 yr old. I remember playing with my hot wheels while this was airing on TV. Good times, Jordan.
Acceleracers is like the last remaining movie/series I have from my childhood before I started growing up. Kids Next Door, Highway 35, Bionicle, Power Rangers. All the shit from the first 2000’s decade. Things were never the same, but thank god that these movies exist on TH-cam and online for free, no catch
My friends and I were big fans of the movies when they aired that year. We all went to the same latchkey and we would create our own hot wheels tracks that would have some semblance to the movies. As an aspiring writer and comic artist, this series holds a special place in my heart for its racing action and the dynamic connectivity of its characters. My hope for the live action Hot Wheels movie is that it takes some cues from this series. Great vid
one of the more amazing things about the series is the animation... for an animated series by a toy company, in 2003, the animation quality is actually astounding considering the time period, budget, AND subject matter.
the day has finally come. I thought accelerracers was long forgotten and seeing this video and so many others shows me it is not forgotten. I also want to wish everyone well and leave the best of regards to the fans who have passed away over the years.
I remember the good old days! Coming home from school to watch these movies over and over 5 times out the day everyday... Im 27 years old now how time flys. Would like to see Hotwheels keep this series going.
Literally brought up this childhood series to my friends yesterday and bam I now see you uploaded videos for it. I hold it insanely close to my heart and I thank you for bringing it more attention
This series was my entire childhood. It’s why I have such a deep passion for all things cars and driving. It was something I shared with my dad, who introduced me to this show. Every time I think about Acceleracers and hw35 I think of the time I spent with him. Him and this, will forever be a part of me. One day I’ll collect all the cars and sets. And one day I’ll be able to share something I thought was amazing with my son. Becuase what I’ve received, I must give back
I remember watching these a lot with my little brother when we were kids, getting the dvds from the local rental. Memories of it are murky at best, but that theme song is practically unforgettable.
i was like 8 when i got the movies and the hotwheels. unfortunately i lost the original DVDs when moving countries, BUT now that I am 27 i still have all my acceleracers hotwheels and I display them in my set up with such joy and pride.
I own all five Hot Wheels movies on CD, they where my childhood and I still watch them once a year. I can quote almost every scene from the Acceleracers and nobody believes me when I tell them how amazing they are. So damn good, so much fun, so many memories.
I loved collecting exclusively Hot Wheels cars as a teen. Instantly fell in love with the series when I first saw it and still enjoy it to this day. Despite CGI looking dated, the characters, their expressions and movements all feel very human. Great piece for car enthusiasts and soft sci-fi lovers. Thank you for covering the series!
What excited me about Highway 35 and Acceleracers is what re-ignited my HW collecting. I have around 15-18 Highway 35/Acceleracer cars in my collection. I also started collecting Fantasy HW Cars that are close to the same models in those movies. Usually I only collect real world model HW but this opened up a new Avenue of collecting. I hope Mattel renews the series. Great reporting!👍
Thank you for bringing attention to these amazing movies. They aren’t perfect, but for a story revolving around racing they did an incredible job. The foreshadowing, dealing with actual loss of characters and seeing them adapt because of it, and keeping Tezla more mysterious than ever is always fascinating to me. One of the few childhood shows I can keep watching and always be impressed by it
This series deserves a remaster and continuation. "Acceleracers becoming more popular than hotwheels..." is a silly logic, its more successful than Mattel imagined and that scared them? They shot themselves in the foot as Fast and Furious is now hoisting the flag of fantasy racing when Acceleracers could have been a giant but the could-have-been is what Mattel didn't see the forest for the trees.
Man I was so pissed that this series was canceled. I loved the Racing drones and the Teku/MM conflict along with their own, but the introduction of the Silencerz was just immaculate they just stole your attention from everyone on the track, plus, the revelation that Vert's dad was the real mastermind behind the Silencerz was just insane only not get anything after, like wtf.
A fun fact in Spanish translation it always hinted that for the accelerons : the wisdom is a circle ... What you receive you must bring back , and the acceleron at the end making an extra ring for the wheel it must be to open the pathway to the accelerons again not only that but for vert to tesch the rest pf the drivers what really racing is for the accelerons
I still listen to the official soundtrack, there was no reason for some of those songs to go as hard as they did, especially the rap music, but i'm immensely grateful
I loved watching this series growing up, both the movies and the mini episodes released, and I hate that they weren't allowed to give it a proper conclusion. While I won't hold my breath I do hope that one day they can give it the conclusion it deserves.
I owe this series a good majority of my childhood. Nolo's car Synkro was my ultimate dream car as a kid. And while I was too young to really understand the themes and messages, it was still a series that had no trouble hooking my attention. Ever since I attained all the films on DVD, I've rewatched the series again and again. I'll always be ready for Mattel and Hotwheels to bring forward some form of conclusion to the series. No matter how long it takes.
I miss this series so much, I have all the movies physically and downloaded digitally so I can watch them whenever I want, but knowing that there will never be a proper conclusion hurts my soul so much. At least the community, no matter how small it may be currently, is still trying to push out content and love for this franchise, and while wishful thinking, hopefully can cause Mattel to one day fix their mistake. I mean, they acknowledged Acceleracers in Hotwheels Unleashed, so no matter how slim the chance is, it's still there.
I had all of the 4 dvds back then when I was just a kid & even now both Taro's water realm speedrun & the entire space realm sequence from the ultimate race still lives rent free in my head
Thank you so much for covering both highway 35 and acceleracers. I never thought I'd see the day it was covered by a bigger channel. I truly do recommend anyone that hasn't watched these movie to give them a shot. They're cheesy, the art is awkward, but it's such a good watch.
This show is what sparked my interest in cars and who I am today from when I was just a kid. I still relisten to the soundtrack/movie on a weekly basis at 24 years old.
I was never a fan of toy cars as a kid, but one day I just stumbled upon this movies and I loved the hell out of it. As Jordan said, every aspect was greatly entertaining, the races, the fights and mainly the characters. The Fast and Furious franchise should really take notes.
when i rewact Acceleracers series and just say, " dang this film still pretty cool " like the animation, drifting, turning area, and of course the car sound still very great. One of the best part of my life, this film bring me to the mechanic life. Just hoping they make " again " the next season on the netflix🥲

One of the few childhood shows I can keep watching and always be impressed by it
Actually yes. I remember it. I still have it on DVD
Acceleracers gang report! The following drivers will enter the realm:
This series deserves a remaster and continuation. "Acceleracers becoming more popular than hotwheels..." is a silly logic, its more successful than Mattel imagined and that scared them? They shot themselves in the foot as Fast and Furious is now hoisting the flag of fantasy racing when Acceleracers could have been a giant but the could-have-been is what Mattel didn't see the forest for the trees.
Dude, this was a movie I had on repeat when I was little.
I remember watching all these was a shame it ended . I'd love to see a video on Nascar racers
I actually revisited the series earlier this year and rewatched all the footage I could find, I LOvE this show even as an adult
This is such a niche fan base and I love LOVE being a part of it from day 1.
Yes, I remember. In fact, it lives rent free in my head daily. To this day the series getting cut off is an injustice that I just can't let go.
Forever a classic series to me. There’s so much good fan content out now that almost fills the hole the 5th movie left.
I’ve needed more of this series since it ended 😭
Acceleracers was and still is my favourite racing media. Period. Such unapologetic rule-of-cool is unseen nowadays
It’s so amazing to see bigger TH-camrs talk about these movies.
Absolutely loved AcceleRacers. This was an amazing video filled with lots of correct information. Thank you so much for shining light on these movies
Just hoping they make " again " the next season on the netflix🥲
i remember have all the dvds of this series, i didn't have ideia of anything, but i just did love it
i grew up on this & i still love everything about it 💯one of my all time favorites
I’m so glad Acceleracers is getting some love now. Especially with the Hotwheel unleashed game and its sequel with the Acceleracers DLC
Best Hotwheels show
