- It’s a two stroke drag bike race gone wrong…and right, that we will never forget. You will see plenty of drag bike fails but you will also see a 2 stroke drag racing world record as the nitrous Kawasaki H2 triple of Jim Chongris battles the naturally aspirated Kawasaki H2 drag bike of Bill Baxter and rider Alex Hughes at the Man Cup Finals from NHRA’s South Georgia Motorsports Park near Valdosta, Ga. We will also see oil leaking on the track, a nitro Triumph, a Cleveland Police motorcycle turned drag bike, new records in several categories and a whole lot more. Having owned an H2 from age 19 to age 60, well, I know all the little quirks with those bikes myself! Mine was just as fast as my Honda CBX 6 cylinder. Still have the CBX....wish I still had the triple but back trouble put a stop to that.

Out of adversity comes a new world record, this has to be the best two stroke bike racing to date! 7:75 with oil leaking out of the clutch cover, but the two step was on. There was no stopping that world record pass.
Love the sound of a tuned 2 smoke, still have an Aprilia AF1 125 but the best 2 smoke I've owned was a Suki GT380 back in the 80's when i was a young pup

In 1980, I bought a 1976 Honda 750 K model from a pro AMA superbike racer, Bernd Koegler, who was building his new Honda 750F bike. The K motor was bored/stroked to 920cc, with some kinda magical head that made the bike a fucking rocket. Didn't handle very good but I used it to learn road race in the west coast AFM, and since the races started from a starting grid, I'd take the bike to Fremont dragstrip and practice launching it. Best run was, 10.82 @127 mph ..with a road race slick. Love your vids..

Watching from chelmsford in the uk;!And love 2 strokes!But only ever had a 350cc jawa 2 sroke and a puch 125cc 2 stroke!Followed by yamaha and kawawsaki and suzuki 4 strokes while doing 18 years motorcycle despatch riding!But always wanted a rd400 yamaha!Never aspired to that.

@@Team-fabulous There are a few also 10 yrs old of a rotary dirt dragbike including some of the building of it. Just search the same 13b bike title and they'll be below it in the results.

I had a Honda 400four
Nice video Jack 👍🏍. Had quite a few RD LC two strokes, 125s 250s 350s . My favorite was a Honda 250 Gularm, that thing was insane 152mph 😃. Only took it on to a drag strip 2 times, many was a race track bike 🏍 🤪
