This is a quick video on how to cut, size and add paper to your Bible for extra space to take notes. This is great for journaling Bibles and even more perfect for those who don't have a journaling Bible. I love this tip and must give credit to Jason Mayfield over at Grace for Life for his video.

I know this is old, but thank you for showing me how to add pages to my Bible.
This is the best video on how to add pages to a book that I've seen; and I watched a lot! It's way more practical and more useful. I'm happy that I can add regular notebook paper and not fancy more expensive paper like all the other videos!

As to your comment about the ribbons, I made some for a women’s group a while back using a metal cross, a jump ring, and 3 strands of 1/8” ribbons attached in a lark’s head knot. Very handy, easy, and economical!

I am tickled this came up in my feed! My Bible looks like your first one, just a hot mess and I’m perfectly ok with that except my arthritis is kicking in in a BIG way bc it’s just so heavy!! And getting heavier!!! Had I used this fantastic full-page tip I think I could have cut down on the weight (I have notes on top of notes, on top of notes)! I’ve only had this Bible for a couple years so I figure I have at least another 2-3 years or so to use it before I start anew, but when I do I WILL be implementing your idea exclusively! Moving forward with my present Bible tho, I will try to do this just maybe smaller sheets? Just for the weight situation! Thanks, great presentation, great idea! God bless!

Great tip!! I would have never thought to do this!! Thanks girl!! But girl my OCD kicked in looking at the NKJV bible you showed 😂😂 I was like oh no that’s too much paper and markings lol!! I normally use a notebook even on Sunday’s but this would allow me to carry just my bible when I carry a smaller purse! Again thanks for this tip!!

Don't worry about adding that ribbon in that Bible. It's pretty easy... and if you're gonna make a mistake, that's a good Bible to make it in. lol

I LOVE this. I have a 4 version bible that I love. A few years ago it fell apart and I had to get a new one. The one I bought a few days ago has a smaller font and so I'm looking for ideas to transfer my notes. Thank you so much for this

You should try the glue Jason Mayfield. It is called Scotch Restickable Glue Stick. It is a little costly, but it can be removed at any time. It is great! Amazon.

Have you added a lot of pages - and has it effected the binding of the Bible by stretching the book thicker?
I haven't added many, just as needed. I don't see the binding on mine being effected. I don't plan to add too many pages, only as needed.

This is great, thanks for the upload. I do have a question, does this work for Bibles with thinner pages? Like Bibles that are not journaling Bibles.
It should work for Bibles with thinner pages. If you can't use actual paper, try using post it notes (large ones) or those notepads. But it definitely should work!!

Hi, Sister in Christ! Thank you for the wonderful video. As I'm planning to buy my supplies, I can find plenty of different Mead notebooks, but none that allow me to tear out the pages, let alone tear them out _cleanly._ Could you tell me where you got your notebook? Thank you in advance, and stay safe!
Hi so sorry I'm just responding to this! I find my large notebooks from Rite Aid or Walgreens. They usually have the perforated lines that allows me to tear the pages out easily. Walmart might even have some nice ones as well.
I saw some at Walmart. I am going tostart doing this.
How do you do it with two pages a the same place?
I glue the pages together then to the Bible or fold them in different directions and glue them to each side of the Bible in the gutter
What type of paper is that? Where can I buy some??
I got it from a PlanAhead journal. You can buy them at Walmart, Rite Aid and Walgreens

No template, just grab a random piece of paper and size it smaller then the Bible page
Can you put more then one note page in one spot??
you definitely can! I've done two on some spots lol
Do you use a different Bible for each study?
No I normally just use three of the same Bibles when studying in my journaling Bible, but I use different Bibles for different things (hope that made sense)
Did you ever finish the Bible Study on Job?
No I never did a full study. I just used it for the video. I plan to tackle Job, Isaiah and Hosea once I finish with Mark and Matthew.
Daughter of Increase Do you use the SoulScripts method on those studies
I didn't find out about SoulScripts until after I began studying so no I don't use the SoulScripts method, but that method is literally the same method many people use when studying the Word in a journaling Bible. I hope that made sense.
PS. I do like Jordan's videos though and all that she has done with SoulScripts

You can. Nothing wrong with it. I used to do it, but I love the idea of having my notes in the Bible when I'm doing a full blown Bible study. I use journals for mini studies and devotionals. To each there own. Different methods for different reasons and people. Lol
Did you ever have issues with your bible swelling out of shape?
Not as of yet since I don't add them in between every page, but I'm sure if you do a bunch it definitely could swell!
