You can also do a VERY similar build on the TDR-9SE, runs at 64.8 super high missile mounts with MRM 70 and 5 tons of ammo with 2 jumpjets. It also has a 15% missile cooldown quirk
double auto5s or an ac 10 + 2 srm 4s or srm6+ 2 er small lasers .. considering the default quirks doesn´t sound unreasonable ... now a LRMboat however ... well
MWO is one of the only games to my knowledge that requires no money to play while still having access to cool stuff, and I love that you create customized builds for players that don't want to spend actual money to play! Excellent video!
The disadvantage with the dervish are the Weapon Doors which take 2 seconds to open. So you have to decide if you want to open your weapon doors and shoot immideately thus sacrificing armor protection, or shoot with the annoying trigger delay.

Hey, i actually made it into one of your videos in that second match. It was a very weird one, i think in part due to how many of the enemies were staying far off in the outskirts rather than the usual brawl in the center. Nobody on our team was making a clear move towards them until the very end (started by you :P) with just a few enemies left. ALso, sorry again for that teamkill on you the other day - one of the first rides in my new IV4, thought i had a direct line of sight to an enemy and somehow dumped all my MRM's into you instead, even though i had no clue where you were even afterwards. Definitely made me feel dumb, but at least going by your reaction at the time it wasn't too big a deal for you. I Deserved that 7 second matchmaker wait of shame afterwards, for sure. xP

You should give a Streak Shadowcat a shot, they're actually a blast to play. Go heavy on UAVs and sneak around. Most people don't think the SCat is good for much more than sniping and will generally forget you. Your jjs are excellent for clearing any obstacles for long-distance missiles. Copied this exact build but with a Griffin 3M, more base structure where it counts (torso) and missile velocity. Mounts also sit high so if you can see it, you can hit (good head peak).
@@romwyzard8259 Trebuchet-7M has the same 20% cooldown, plus structure, velocity and heat generation quirks. I don't understand your point about the hitboxes. Damage is spread mainly in the arms and CT, that make the Trebuchet a perfect XL carrier giving it an insane mobility boost over other contenders and more weigth to play with.
Aim for speed nodes for fast movers, the rest is skippable. The heavier is the mech, the lower base mobility it has and the lower the bonus it gets due to percent increment. You gain more investing in weapon armor and sensor trees and just training yourself in better positioning in game to negate a bad mobility.

To be honest the best IV-4 is called Trebuchet-7M.
Quarantine is tougher. WVR-7D has that insane missile cool down of 20% and good structure. Treb is OK but has horrible hitboxes IMO.
