The backstory behind the Japanese businessman talking about their members sizes was based on a true story story of Matt & Trey meeting a businessman from Japan who would not stop talking about the exact same thing and making all conversations awkward.
It's funny how both South Park and Pokemon ended up being long running, successful franchises with video games and movies and all that.

Exactly, so despite the episode's answer to end the parody fad because of parents/aduls liking it, the tactic wouldn't work on Pokemon irl.

One of the original creators of Pokémon wanted it to end after the first movie , but they basically told him it would keep going , with or without him.
His original vision was also more violent and abusive to the Pokémon.
After he was forced to continue the story he basically got super depressed and drank himself to death.
So it wasn’t created with the sole intent for profit , but was morphed into that
I miss the gen 1 aesthetic and worldbuilding. Everything from the low-scifi aesthetic to little details like Lieutenant Surge being an American war veteran whose Raichu apparently saved his life in the war. Slowpoke and Taurus being used for meat farming. The game more or less saying that your rival's Raticate actually died.
Wild wacky action bike is best scene of South park parody ever. Just the fuct they freakin made prototype to film it is insane XD

I think the seizure joke is based off an episode getting banned for causing seizures in a bunch of kids. I forgot what Pokémon it involved but they had to reanimate it
Porygon was unfairly banned because of Pikachu’s Electric attack.
Am I the only one who feels like the whole "Destroy the evil power" bit was an accidental riff on the anime's promotional material from back then cockteasing us about Ash defeating Giovanni and stopping Team Rocket once and for all once he became a Master?

I know not only does he have a great sense of humor. He's not like most European TH-camrs who act like America is a complete garbage hole everyone there is dumber than them and that if they were in charge of America they could fix it although they have never been there. too many Europeans are like that I guess that's more Western Europeans and less Eastern Europeans. It's especially annoying to me because I am Canadian and I had to hear the same crap from my fellow citizens who had never been there I heard it my whole life from the time I could understand English so I believed it until I actually went there and then I realized it's just Canadians. who hate the fact that our culture is the same thing they different in some ways like two different states can have very different cultures and yet still be very similar Canada is essentially another 11 states that have their own government that doesn't mean I'm not patriotic it means I don't lie to myself, Canada is a great country and its own country but so many of my fellow Canadians will die on the hill that says my country is super unique

Cartman's mother said she was making lunch, but;
A). There was nothing on the bench in front of her.
B). Cartman was literally just in the lounge room eating spicy hot Louisiana baked chicken tenders.
The chicken tenders were probably his appetizer. Remember on the "City People" episode Eric was mad at his mom working as a real estate agent because she wasn't home to make his mid afternoon meal when he got home from school.
Maybe she was really slobbering all over a meaty rod?
Yeah this is one of my favorite episodes i grow up when pokemon was a whole in ur face thing,im like 25 and still play pokemon to this day,but fun fact chimpokemon really mean little dick pocket monster from Japanese to English which i find really funny.

When talking about the commercials you said "they just penetrate a nostalgic part of my brain". I heard an extra "L" in nostalgic, which made my brain think " Penetrate A Nol---" and my brain stopped working and I couldn't finish the video.
This episode reminds me so much of how I got into metal music. My friends introduced me to Metallica. I went away, listened to them. Saw my friends the following week now a Metallica fan and they said... "Oh Metallica are so last week, we are listening to Iron Maiden now." So I went away and listened to Iron Maiden. A week later. "pfft, get with the times. We are listening to Megadeth now." Week later, it was System of a Down, then a week later Slipknot, then Disturbed, then Avenged Sevenfold, then Atreyu, then Enter Shikari. Eventually, having been introduced to so many great bands, and with their taste venturing into some niche and weird stuff, I just thought fuck it, I have all these great bands who they rip on me for liking, but they are awesome bands and so much better than this shit they are trying to get me into now. So instead of following them, I branched out for myself and found bands like Mastodon, Trivium, Children of Bodom, Lamb of God and Amon Amarth. I stopped hanging around with those guys but last time I met one of them, they said they were into Shoegaze now. Don't know what that is, don't care. He can listen to his super hipster, niche bullshit. I still listen to Metallica, Iron Maiden, Trivium and Mastodon etc because i'm not worried about constantly searching for tomorrows next big thing only to drop them when they get big like those guys were doing. I listen to what I like and that's awesome to me. So I really connect with Kyle on this episode. It's ok to follow trends, it can lead you to some nice places, but never feel like you need to be completely up to date.

@@valimardorrin6869I think southpark might be his most successful series. I like watching his south park reaction videos since I had to cancel my subscription. I like solar opposites it's odd cause I tried watching Rick and Morty but its really boring to me I know at some point it was huge compare to how it is now and south park remains popular. The numbers don't lie.

Whats up man. So as you probably already know, Trey Parker speaks Japanese so thats why there is alot of Japanese content. In this episode, called Chinpokomon, we all know its a play on Pokimon but did you know Chinpokomon actually means something? Chinpokomon roughly translates into Pocket Penis monster. Good content man.
