Im renting a newer "house" off Soi Kao noi. 2 br 2 fb security gate manned 24 7 with patrols. Community quiet Swimming pool. Always quiet on street but you park in ur gated driveway anyways.. $ 470.00 Usd a month... nice yard maintained by landscapers not on you. Just my input..
Normally you cannot rent a place for a month unless its being offered for "short term" rentals. The vast majority of owners want at least a 6 month lease. For shorter terms, we recommend AirBnB.

Jomtien isn't Pattya. I live in one of the most expensive metro areas in the United States. If I were to go just 10 miles away from the city center, I would be paying about half the price for rent as I pay to live in the center of the city. I suspect it's similar for this location.
@@ariefraiser140 That makes lots of sense in the United States where you need a car to go anywhere and everywhere but in Thailand with $10 Bhat busses and motorbike taxi it’s not the same.
@Neil Bagelstein you don't need a car in the metro region I'm in. We have excellent public transportation. In fact, you are worse off trying to drive in this area than taking the train or bus. But car or not location, location, location still holds true no matter where in the world you are. If you're smack in the middle of a location where the action is and multiple people want to live, it's going to cost more. And it's the same way in Thailand.

The condo is OK but for that money can get a Beautiful up to date modern condo at Northpoint condos with way better amenities and facilities right on the beach and awesome sea views for 50 more dollars for the money this place not worth it compared to others out there
Calling the condo so cheap in the video makes you look dishonest. You probably are aware that the price is definitely not cheap. I'd go as far to say that this condo is a rip off. I have known the condo market in Bangkok and Pattaya for a few years now.
That's a pretty normal price for condos in 2022. Sure you can get a lower price if you do look around. But the "cheap Charlie" days that we all enjoyed are sadly going away.
