MA1A Huffer Cart

This unit is still in use for stranded aircraft on airfields without a air start cart. We keep it serviceable even though it rarely gets called into service. Vietnam Era unit. Recently had welding shop make a new fuel tank for it, put on an overhauled fuel control unit, all new filters, fuel lines, oil change, cleaned fuel nozzle and borescope inspection of APU compressor and hot section. Please note the aircraft battery and elcon connector, this increased reliability and start functionality tremendously.
Other item to note is this unit only performs properly if run on clean Jet A fuel treated with Bio-Bor fungicide. Many are marked diesel but that will not allow proper parameters of operation or it will run poorly.
I really like the old girl and take quite a bit of pride in bringing it out of the weeds and back into service.
