Great video, I have the same card on mine. My red and green lights light up, but my screen doesn't work and nothing turns on. This is a result of me moving the treadmill. I ran continuity with all of the wires on the control cable and they are all good. I just can't figure out why the screen doesn't power up. It is receiving 12vdc from the cable harness from the red wire and the red and white wire.
Thank you. No combo for power including a black wire! Sometimes their is more than one set of 12dc going console for different pc boards in console. OHM your harness see if you can find 12dc on one of the reds and a black. Also check under your motor hood cover sometimes they tape a diagram to it
I have a similar issue. Does your Bluetooth audio button blink blue? Mine does but the console won't turn on. This is also after we moved the treadmill.
I have a x32i. My belt quit running but incline works. I used to be able to just unplug and re plug and it would work again but it’s not this time. I’m guessing it’s the controller board. It is flashing red though which I thought meant it needs replaced but Im seeing in the video it flashes red even while the belt is moving?
Well on Nordic Track the red led light on that motor controller is the PWM signal from the console. If this is flashing the motor should be turning. So first try would seem to be controller. But any time you fix it by plugging and unplugging you are rebooting the console. This can be console if it is a full touch screen they are touching?
So my nordictrack c 850 s 2.75 flex select works great, but the incline doesn't go to its max even when the display says 12 (which is the max). I tried to recalibrate the incline ( by holding and speed increase, etc), but it doesn't register the command. When i unplug some of the wries from the circuit board, i can get the display to read 0 incline by using the increments arrow and by doing so i can get the treadmill to its max height however it does goes right back to the same limited height if i lower it and try to max it out again. ANY THOUGHTS? PLEASE!

However, every time i start, the TM immediately stop and trip the breaker or blown the fuse. 6. There's very small movement (fraction of second) before immediately blew the fuse. for safety the treadmill boards require a user input. Try turning every power switch on then remove/reinsert the safety key. It should run OK as you tell it to accelerate the motor's rpm. (speed). Also there should be 1 or more red diodes on the board that lite up. One will begin to blink in sequence with motors PWM speed pulses. Human input is needed when starting the PWM pulses to the motor.. The 12 v dc powering the console is in the 10-12 wire connector.

I cannot control it up or down after it calibrates but the touch pads up top are sending the signal just nothing is happening the motor is bottoming or topping out and not moving after. You will need to meter the wire harness connections were the console harness and the center main harness hook up .should have at least 12vdc
That was amazing! Why does my treadmill now run backwards? I have to face the back now when running 😳
Well if this my friend Dan turn around if this is a customer check your motor connections . If they are correct then board is bad 😃
come on now! its a DC motor,
switch the motor wire and it will run in the opposite direction.
If run too long backwards the motor's pulley will unscrew and fall off.
@@johnzarollin2749 That’s just my buddy messing with me and me messing with me .And no on some models motor turning backwards will not fall off they are held in buy set screw or keyway insert
@@FitnessTechnologyServices understood but the reverse threading on some dc motor shafts will cause the drive pulley to roll off the shaft if +, - are wired incorrectly..
Notice the reverse threading on the motor shaft in this link;
www.instructables.com/Use-a-Treadmill-DC-Drive-Motor-and-PWM-Speed-Contr/
no set screws.
With the high torque it'd come off anyway.
Engineered to be fail safe when some tech reverses polarity on the motor and injures somebody.
@@johnzarollin2749 The example was just for testing . And depending on what frame they put the motor in there is not enough space for pulley to come off but I get were you are coming from .I some times reverse it just to make it easy for removal
my proform 400c treadmills controller board conked out on me is the same exact controller on your old controller board on the video. i noticed on ebay that they came out with a new revised controller board for that treadmill the same one that you're replacing on your treadmill. my question is on 2:45 mark of your video you're removing the incline cable from the port which looks like a 5 pin port. on the new revised controller board i noticed the incline port is 3 pins that you're installing at the 4:45 mark of the video. does the 3 pin port work when using the incline function on the display console just like the 5 pin port on the old controller board despite missing 2 pins on the board?
It works fine I have a pic of both boards on my sales web site side by side so you can see it in the old board only three pins were used ! they had 5 but only 3 worked 🤔you can look at it at www.Fitnesspartspro.com
i bought a replacement controller board the revised version for my proform 400c treadmill. followed your instruction to a tee. works fine. i probably would've burned out the controller board if i didn't follow your instructions. thanks a million. do you recommend using a surge protector for the treadmill as my power outlet is gfci with no green indicator light on it?
@@michaelcho9153 Hmm that is a great question most likely you are trying to protect your controller ? The main reason a controller blows out is due to high walk belt wear . Causing excessive amp draw with in the treadmill. A gfI protects your house circuit . And a surge protector protects your treadmill from outside surges .you will find how to test your walk belt for wear on my full channel fitness technology services Thanks Dave
I have a C-800. Do I have to find the exact control board for it or could another board work?
Well depends if you could send me your full model number to Fitnesspartspro@gmail .com we could check but in general on Nordic track they have the same inputs only the wattage is different for power to there consoles
Also depends on what year
What model circuit board was that and what is the new board? I have a MC5100 board from about 2014. Also, do you know what the different led flash codes are? My board is doing double flashes all the time. The main motor won't run.
The one I took out is mc 2100 -b I replaced it with a new style 1618 DLS or sometimes called a LTS -30 . They both have the same wire harness! And can be swapped. The 5100 has a larger wire harness and can’t be swapped with anything else. Sorry I have not worked much with this one I don’t know the pattern on this. I would start with unhooking all the inputs one at a time see if there is a short on it . If light still flashes with all extra loads off it you will have to replace it . I am looking at it now on my website. But I can’t see the leds in pic
Oh yea one more thing run you motor with a DC power source just to make sure it is ok
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Yes, done that. motor is fine. Only thing I noticed is that taking the brake resistor off makes the controller work up until you hit start. Then you get 6 flashes. With the brake resistor on, the controller processor never gets out of self test and just does the really fast double flash all the time.
@@richardmarkham8369 If you can find out the value of the load Resitance. And it meters right you may have to replace controller. I am just not sure of the incline trainers pattern
@@FitnessTechnologyServices The brake resistor meters fine. 50ohm. I've sent the controller off for repair. I guess its the mosfet for the brake thats blown.
I have a Nortitrack commercial 1750 (2014-15). I have 12v to my touchscreen but it doesn't turn on. What else should I look at?
Hmm that’s tough on a Nordic they don’t make a lot of boards mostly replace console .I would open back of console and disconnect ribbon cables one at a time see if one is shorting board out . Send me your full model # to fitnesspartspro@gmail.com if want part or more troubleshooting
@@FitnessTechnologyServices thanks, I'll send you the info.
👍
for safety the treadmill boards require a user input.
@@johnzarollin2749 Hmm is that not the same way I explained it of course you have to give it input
I'm running into an issue with my incline calibration when wired properly it bottoms out the unit to the -3 when wired in opposite it runs the incline all the way to the top. I cannot control it up or down after it calibrates but the touch pads up top are sending the signal just nothing is happening the motor is bottoming or topping out and not moving after. Any idea what this could be?
This sounds like only the black wire ( down ) is getting the signal. When you hook it up correct only goes down! When reverse 🔄 the black and red only goes up. This is either a pinching wire issue. Or the controller is faulty
@@FitnessTechnologyServices both the controller and the motor are new only the wiring is same as before. It's a nordictrack 2950 would I need to order the small harness between the controller and the incline motor as well?
@@ETBozz78 Hmmm reseat all your Signal wires they come loose sometimes when you change controller. And you might have to try incline jumper wire
Also try reinstalling your old controller see if issue is the same . Make sure new controller is good. I’ve seen odder thing’s
@@FitnessTechnologyServices so the previous controller was running the treadmill at full speed on start up and the incline would not work. Now the speed is fixed but the incline is the only remaining issue. I'll try re seating the wires and see if that helps as well.
Mine will NOT run... just beeps at me. I thought it was the iFit, and the iFit is non-responsive. I have shut down, unplugged, changed out surge protectors... and then I thought maybe I should pull the wire out of the port for the iFit, but I don't know which one that is... ANY help would be greatly appreciated.
Hmm that’s hard to say over the years they have changed if a lot if it is a newer unit 5 years or so they do not have a iFit port . Look for a small hole on the console base on top mostly? On left there is a reset button down in that hole you will need to use a paper clip to reach button I have only did this once so I am not to sure. But I did find it on good old TH-cam sorry I don’t know more
@@FitnessTechnologyServices I have a video of the issue but do not know how to share it here - There is no reset place to put a paperclip in - it's a Model No. NTL14815.4
@@GLOXSY_EDITS send video to Fitnesspartspro@gmail.com I will look into your model I don’t know by heart
@@GLOXSY_EDITS Sorry I can’t find any info on your desk top treadmill even on Nordic website they list the console as out of stock no info available . They list the part # as 375292 on iconservice.com Icon is the manufacturer
On the mark. My problem is solved. My new unit is exactly like your new unit but no incline light. My problems is no incline. Is the answer to replace the board ? .... or is it to learn why the counsel shows incline working but it does not. All else seems fine. I moved it from one room to another.
Oh I see you did respond to my Nordic Track controller video !well it could be but first I would reseat all incline connections the ac power to incline unseats it’s self a lot ? Careful ac is off when reseating I have to say that 🤔
The console on a Nordic Track shows display weather the incline moves or not !!on most models but not all
Mine is a NordicTrack C970 and it's motor is not running, everything else is good
The highest chance is a bad motor controller it’s normally not the motor
No video on how to actually get to that Controller.
