Hi all! For anyone wondering the song is Brutus (Instrumental) by The Buttress 🎵
Super interesting music
Thanks! That’s what I came to the comments for- and cause I want to learn to crochet ❤
Annoying ass song😭
tysm
Спасииибоо❤❤❤❤
I'd love to see these combined with another project! I need to see the ribbon yarn as sleeve cuffs!
Hi! I have other shorts where I have finished peices made from these 😊
Should combined it all at the end of the year and sell it
Thank you so much from the intimidated corner! Lol
Oh, so THAT'S how they work. I've always been intimidated by novelty yarn
Honestly mesh yarn is EASIER to work with. I struggled with knitting too tightly because I have ms can't feel my hands, so I hold to tight or I drop everything. I struggled with regular yarn for YEARS and the first time I got mesh yarn I was able to knock out scarfs in just an hour or two. And they came out perfectly. And I'd never got anything right with regular wool. So that should show you how easy it is! 😂 Give it a try. You can make some beautiful work with it. And it just looks STUNNING. Good luck and happy crafting 🙏
Yeah, my mind is blown 😂
Yeah same. Seemed impossible to deal with the normal way... but I'm so uncreative when it comes to crocheting 😂 I only follow the tutorials (and still fail sometimes)
I love the way baby blankets turn out with cocoon yarn theyre so soft and fluffy but good for air flow too so baby is warm enough but doesnt overheat!!
I'd like a Me blanket made out of that 😊
@@bustedkeaton I might make one for myself now 🤣
@@bustedkeatonI'm the baby! And I want one! (づ ͡ ᗜ ͡ )づ
@@mookinbabysealfurmittens Lol 😂
Oh maybe a hood too
I’ve always wanted to try cocoon yarn it looks so cool
It looks like a pain in the butt! But is it? Genuinely want to know!😅
It DEFINITELT looks very annoying to work with!
@@kurochan94 I think it gets easier with practice but I could see it being difficult
You did well with all the different types of yarn. I've tried to crochet with the cocoon yarn but I just ended up with a tangled mess. 😟
Yes, especially that heart she made, it's so cocool 😊
The ribbon yarn looks like coral, I could see a beautiful crocheted coral reef being made out of different colors styles of yarn!
exactly what i was thinking!
Ugh I love how creative people can be, I would have never thought of doing that
You may have just created an ADHD-fueled generation that recreates the Great Barrier Reef one variety at a time.
Love how the Pom Pom Yarn turned out.
Thanks so much 🥰
ITS CALLED COCOON
@@CTXYit was definitely called pom pom yarn when it first came out years ago
@@wingzofice only u know bc ur old 🙄
@@CTXY you're giving anger issues 💅
I always loved to look at these yarns at the store, but never knew how you'd actually use them in a project. These are great!
That would be so confusing for my brain to figure out- you go, girl!
They're all beautiful but the colour combination of the ribbon yarn is just overwhelmingly stunning!!
This was HIGHLY enjoyable to watch. Great showcase of your knowledge; beautiful work; and fun, pleasant music!
Thank you very much! ❤️
HOW?? That looks so easy the way to did it, your so good at crocheting!
I think the mesh or ribbon could make good edging on a garment made with regular yarn. Or in a wall hanging could add good texture. Just seems like they are more accent yarns than something id make a whole work out of
That seems like a good use, I don’t think they’re intended for whole projects. Like you wouldn’t sew an entire shirt out of bias tape for normal use
absolutely - and the ribbon yarn would be sick as hell as ruffled layered sleeve cuffs and decorations on a shirt made out of a shiny satin fabric of the same color or with an accent color ribbon yarn.. I need to see it done so bad🤍🤍🤍
I would absolutely make a whole piece out of the ribbon yarn just for the sheer funky look of it. I feel it would make a sweet pillow
Not the uncanny valley makeup music 😭😭 i was expecting a jumpscare all along
same
The what now?
@kaitlyngault3987 most people who use this song play it on an uncanny valley video
Stg, came straight to the comments looking for this! Saw another commenter calling the music "pleasant" and I was tempted to call the cops, oml. 🤣🤣💀💀
That cocoon yarn would make thee cutest purse!
We need a tutorial on that heart crochet project!!❤️
The mesh looks great for doll tutus and petticoats while the ribbon looks amazing for a doll’s jalisco skirt !!
This skill never ceases to amaze me.
I was so distracted by the percussion under the song sounding like the collector’s theme from the owl house lol
These yarns are all so different, I can't imagine how you learned how to crochet them😂
Oh I'm sure anyone could learn! Most of these are the same steps after the second row :)
Honestly, i think the cocoon yarn is the prettiest, i really like the shades of red and how it looks.
Ribbon yarn would be so perfect for marigolds
The mere idea of working with the mesh yarn triggers my fight or flight
Wowwww there are so many times I would have said… “hmmm looks good enough” your dedication is very admirable
Love this series! Thank you for the person/people who keep commisioning it 💜
I LOVE RIBBON YARN!!! SO PRETTY!!!!
Hi from France! I did some knitting with this kind of yarn… just got to get used to it … the result is gorgeous anyway ❤️
Have a nice day 😘🌺
the music is very fitting as only looking at those yarns feels like a nightmare
Always want to try to cocoon 😊
Making a bunch of balls with the ribbon yarn and hanging them up from the ceiling of your bedroom with transparent string so it looks like it’s floating would be so nice
I must learn the magic of using the cocoon yarn! 😍😍😍
All your work looks beautiful. Great unique yarns.
You can make a cute little sea cucumber with the last yarn!!
I've been crocheting for a month, and looking at this hurts my brain trying to conceive of how to use these. But you made it look easy.
Was NOT expecting Brutus ajldfhdldjdl
I actually love the cocoon yarn look! 😅
That cocoon yarn heart came out pretty nice.
Fascinating all the different textures, can't decide which I like more, the heart or the rosettes
Love the colors on the last one
I love the first one ! The colour is so pretty and the form is really interesting!
This was very helpful. Thank you.
i love the heart pillow!
The first one was so cute....
Im used to hearing these sounds in junji ito compilations.
YOU NEED TO MAKE A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO CROCHET WITH THIS STUFF!
Seriously.
Intrigued how you were able to go up a row to make squares, etc. with these yarns.
I had no idea there was an instrumental version of this song!!!
Beginner crocheter here - most of this yarn looks like hell to work with
What is the song?
@@BluePuppy36 Brutus by The Buttress
You make all of them look useful instead of intimidating!❤
The music syncing up with the burns at the one hour four minute mark was incredibly satisfying. 1:04:10
ribbon yarn would be so cool for making different corals
The cocoon yarn looks really good for making pillows
I love all those textures....they look soft too
Those lil caterpillies! 🤩😍😍😍
this is simply exquisite. thank u for this content.
Wow, you are so talented that you can crochet with anything.
Thank you! I have a few of these yarns given to me without labels, and I had no idea how to crochet with them!
i like the ribbon yarn it looks fun to feel
I like the cocoon cuz its cozy and comfy☺️
I remember 13 years agoe when these yarns were all really popular and then suddenly just stopped.
The one thing that people don't know, is that pompom and chenille yarns in general have a LIFESPAN. they WILL NOT last. They eventually just fall apart.
Make your project, wear it, love it.
As a literal, day-one newbie... Thank you!!❤
I always snubbed stupid looking yarn, until only recently have i actually tried crocheting n fallen in love, and now im excited to one day give these a shot
If I hear this goddamn song one more fuckin time I swear to every thing I love
This song is genuinely nightmare fuel.. even BEFORE everyone started using it for the uncanny valley makeup.. stg, when people say they 'love this song', immediate red flag. They DEFINITELY have bodies in their basement. 😭🤣💀
You are very talented for those. I don't think I would be able to ever do that. I would end up getting frustrated with it putting it away and never using it again most likely
Omg aside from the beautiful crotcheting, Brutus by The Buttress?! 😱 im so happy more people are finding out about her music!!
cocoon yarn could make a really pretty sweater
Interesting. I like how there can me so many different uses for different types of yarn.
the mesh yarn would be a good puff sleeve on a dress or something.
Wow! That is awesome! That cocoon yarn looks very hard to crochet with.
I think the mesh yarn would make supercute leg warmers! With the little flare at the bottom
So glad I saw this short cuz I saw the other one earlier with the green "cocoon" yarn and was SO CURIOUS about what it looks like before
The ribbon yarn had a really lovely, interesting texture.
The ribbon yarn would be great for crocheting sea creatures like frilly fish and corals!
the mesh yarn and ribbon yarn surprised me in a good way! I need more of it now 😂
The ribbon yarn looks like the endoplasmic reticulum in the cell
The ribbon would be good for scrunchies!
Omg the cocoon yarn looks so cool!
Fascinating I have a huge bag of all different types of novelty yarns they look very troublesome. But youve encoraged me to maybe pull a few out and play. Thanks
Ahh love that! Have some fun ☺️
I need more cacoon yarn, your ideas are so intriguing
as a Filipino, my mind reads yarn with a quirky intonation
Huh, i dont think ive ever seen those kinds of yarn before. I wish the stores i get yarn from had more diversity. The last one looked really cool, like some kind of sea creature
Mesh yard is great for making cleaning scrubbies! My grandmother makes them and gives them out to famlies in need around her area
The cocoon yarn might make a sturdy crochet purse!
Interesting! The ribbon yarn was very different, I like it
WOAH. I've never even WANTED to give these a try just bc it felt like lvl9999 but the outcome is amazing 🤔
Your patience for these yarns!
Cool squares 😊
I wish you showed more of this. I dismally failed with crocheting both of these yarn types
You are so talented! I don't have the patience to learn how to crochet.
That's so kind, thank you! It can be quite time consuming.. but I find it kind of meditative in a way :)
@@kims_threads I can see how it can be soothing and meditative!
That beat is sick. Who is that😮
It's Brutus by Buttress 🫶
@@kims_threads clicked this short and was so shocked to hear it!!! i love this song!!!!
the mesh seems like it has a lot of possibilities, I'd love to see a piece where it isn't unravelled/opened
cocoon yarn looks like little caterpillars and i just wnat to cover my room in it
Thanks so much for these demos!!!
You should make a scrunchie with the mesh yarn!!!
As a beginner all of these look like hell on earth
I love the cocoon one
Wow.. for the 2nd one, I would have bundled that instead of crochet it at its edge.. -but that is another good way to crochet if your going for something different.
This is talent right here 🎉😮
Love ur work
Thank you so much
oh i love this song! brutus :3
Cocoon yarn looks so comfortable and squishy 🥺
I made a triangular red shoulder shawl from the cocoon yarn about 15 years ago for a Christmas party. I made it loose and with holes not like the heart in the vid. It was really fun to make and use and it still looks like new.
Meanwhile me who cant even crochet normal yarn without miserably failing and breaking down, crying:
Edit: it's because I can't find any left-handed tutorials 😍😍
Maybe stick with simpler stitches until you feel confident enough in your ability to move on. I used the same stitches for YEARS and still do. I've tried some fancier ones and learned a couple, but for the most part I stick with my first ones and they work out well enough for me
I just watched the first of who-knows-how-many videos on crocheting, and a few days ago on knitting.
I was not prepared for how quickly I was emotionally invested and anger overtook me more than once, I'm ashamed to say... 😆😆
