I used to think so but reprocessed SFMRs show it had 175-180 MPH peak so I actually now understand why F13 went with 175 because the flight level winds were a little bit higher and that's what you end up with after the 10% reduction of flight level winds

Ummm, we had a lot of subtropical storms this year and the majority of them developed from an extratropical cut-off low. It's nothing uncommon by any means
