Might be a good idea to paint that laundry shoot area too because it'll help keep orders from dirty clothes getting into your wood and then staying in your bus
So comfy and cozy! Huge progress every week, I can’t believe it!! Interesting product for the mattress underlayment, never seen that before! Might have to look into it! Looking forward to the day baby adventure trudge comes into the world but maybe the laundry chute should be converted into a proper bed for it first 😂 hahahahah can’t wait to see what you’re up to next week!
I obviously had very low expectations for the mattress 😂 I’m so happy with how comfy it is! I think I first saw Dendry on OurWayToRoams channel and they swear by it so I was 100% influenced lol but it seems great. We have to figure out where to make a future dog bed before we start planning the nursery 😂
Beautiful work on your bus! I am converting a van right now but the dream is a little more space with a small skoolie! Love the design of this build and feeling inspired to keep working on mine (despite the MN cold)
Building in the winter is rough 😭 we feel like there’s finally a light at the end of the tunnel, spring is almost here!! Best of luck with your build 🧡
Wow! Great job today! I continue to be amazed and inspired by your work. You've done a very similar idea to what I have planned for my bedroom, so I'll definitely be watching this video a few more times in the future. Great to see it all coming together so nicely. I have also planned to do the holes in the plywood trick in a few places to save weight (I am planning a slatted bed, so not there), but have seen the honeycomb design inside cabinets, which looks gorgeous, but a little complicated. I think I can have some fun with the holes and make it look pretty funky. Take care, anxious to see the next project!
I didn’t even think about how much weight we were saving! We think this is the ideal bed set up, it’s a little removed but still part of the living space so we can use it for additional seating whenever we have guests ☺️
Hey guys, after watching last weeks video and this one, I'm kinda concerned about where your water filters are located. Assuming they work like all the ones I've seen in other build videos, when it's time to change the filters, they're usually a little difficult to get off and on, often requiring a tool and space to maneuver in. Most importantly though is that they will be full to the top with water and no matter how careful you are, it's going to spill out. Putting a pan under them will help but some will likely still get splashed around. Plus you'd have to get the canister up out of the compartment you have it in to dump/clean it, risking more spills. Checkout this BE Adventure Partners video at the 10min 20sec mark to see an example: th-cam.com/video/yxTwSRNoubA/w-d-xo.html They have clear easy access to their filers and it's still messy. I wouldn't want to try removing the filter covers while hanging over the edge of a bed frame and reaching down into a small compartment at an awkward angle. Just thought it was something you should consider.
Yeah it’s definitely a tight space 😬 we did do a dry run of changing the filters and it is doable, but I never thought about how they will be full of water. Thanks so much for the heads up, it’s nice to be prepared! We think we’ll be okay with it being a little tough since it’ll only need to be done every couple months but we’ll see 🤷🏼♀️ Maybe in a future update we can make it accessible from the garage space. Thanks for the insight!!
The sax was absolutely killing it in this episode
Gavin’s been practicing
Hidden hamper chute is a great idea.
I can’t remember which vanlife account I saw it on but I thought it was genius!
It just keeps getting better- more comforts too!
Can’t wait to start picking out paint colors!

Definitely! Painting will be done later once all the construction is done ☺️
How do these people only have 800 subs
Haha right?! 🧡🧡
Great job looks good.
Thank you!

Looks great guys!! Are you going to have a guest bed for me?
