After this gig me and the Missus wandered up to Lost Vagueness, having had a somewhat enhanced evening we lost each other for a while, I found her about half an hour later dancing and waving her arms in the air shouting Woo Hoo at the top of her voice. Thanks for the memories. .

Blur didn't like it. They demoed it as a joke but their label loved it and insisted on releasing it.

Look - as much as I like Blur - Song 2 is not really good.
I like music that gives me energy, like HL2's soundtrack, some of Portal 2's soundtrack.
But this song doesn't give me anything. It is just woo-hoo and that is it.
I don't hate it, but I don't love it. On the other hand, Parklife isn't just only some main line and that's it, but an actual song that I very like.
Maybe the Blur itself doesn't really like it, since they made it to make fun of grunge.

@bobhope4949 its a good point. I guess I'm just sore as I'm a short chap who always ends up with the tallest person at the gig in front of them and they never seem to move or dance. It's even worse when they're holding a phone in my face, too. I just want everyone to be in the moment.
