Lyrics: Woohoo! (x4) Try to suffer I'm not my birther Gettin' away-ay He never earthed her Woohoo! 'Cause he do what he needed Woohoo! It's like I'm not the same, but Woohoo! 'Cause you're sick and you're easy All that you did when you ever said 'cause you're never Pleased to see me I never taught her It came so easy She's not my problem It's not my problem Woohoo! 'Cause I know and I mean it Woohoo! And I go and I get it Woohoo! If you ever regret it You don't say what you never do 'cause you're never Pleased to see me Oh, yeah (x4)
There are no lyrics ha 😁 it’s all nonsense! it’s also nonsense on the actual song, Damon had tried to write some proper lyrics for it but it just didn’t have the same spontaneity as the demo which is what you hear in the final version.
Pretty sure it's from Hultsfredsfestivalen in Sweden? That's where they premiered both of those songs. The second performance of both was at the Dublin gig.
Woohoo (x4) Try to suffer I'm not my birther Getting away-ay It never irked her Woohoo, cause you do what again? Woohoo, and I know I'm the same Woohoo, cause you're sick and you're easy All that you did when you ever said cause you're never Pleased to see me I never taught her It comes so easy She's not my problem It's not my problem Woohoo, cause I know what I mean Woohoo, and I go out again Woohoo, if you ever regret it You always say what you never did cause you're never Pleased to see me Oh yeah (x4) (My own interpretation of the lyrics)
Thanks for this man. I'm almost certain he's saying "youre never pleased to see me", and might be saying "getting away-ay it never irked her" but appreciate the lyrics.
Hey man, thanks for that. Just updated it, often come back and try and listen to more of the lyrics myself. If you find anymore corrections let me know
The accent's getting ya. Here's another go. I don't profess this to be 100%, but it certainly clears up some inaccuracies, and the fact that the lyrics don't necessarily all make sense when paired up like this is a trait of Damon's early demos. Woohoo! Woohoo! Woohoo! Woohoo! You try then suffer And know they birthed her Getting away-ay He never hurt her Woohoo! 'Cause he'd do right again Woohoo! Is that not all the same? Woohoo! 'Cause you're sick and you're easy All that you did when you ever said 'cause you're never Pleased to see me I never taught her It comes so easy She's not my problem It's not my problem Woohoo! 'Cause I know what my name is Woohoo! And I'd go on again Woohoo! If you ever regret it You don't say what you never did 'cause you're never Pleased to see me Oh yeah Oh yeah Oh yeah Oh yeah
I think this is the only time I've heard him sing "woohoo" instead of "waaaahoooo"
"whaaaa" it's easier to sing because A is an open vowel.
I dont think Damon gives a fvck
I love his original woohoo than waahoo and how he sings it so casually..
All Song 2 live in 1996-early 1997 he sing woo hoo
he sounds so young! awesome

I honestly like these lyrics more than the official ones...
I think it’s “he never hurt her” but he pronounces it really weirdly. Definitely “hurt her” because I recognise the dropped h on hurt.
WHAT ARE THE LYRICS FOR THIS VERSION THEY'RE SO DIFFERENT
The lyrics werent finished yet. So he used these fillers lyrics on this performance.
IMO Damons voice at that time was the best around.
this is awesome!!
Brilliant, I live for stuff like this. Cheers Andy
