Thank you for the detailed video. I feel comfortable enough to give it a shot myself! The engineering on this S&B is dramatically improved vs. the Roush.

I did the same intake few months ago
I wish I could find one video on tube to help

Any review of this intake after driving this truck for a while now

I just added an exhaust too. Video soon. It sounds great. I have gained performance and if I feather it I have gained some mpg

No before and after draggy pulls?

wait until you clean it. Pain in the a** to get the filter out of the box without damaging the media.
you'll have to take off the entire intake tube just to get the filter.

Can cut the tube a bit shorter for easier maintenance?

    Remove the battery cable.......What? Why?!
You are literally touching nothing electrical changing out the air filter box.
The ECU is also a speed density system, meaning it uses manifold air pressure to calculate load.
As long as your MAP sensor remains untouched, changing your intake air plenum will do nothing to the ECU's calculations.

It resets the ecu. And when working on a car it’s always a safe bet to disconnect the battery.

@@MIKESGARAGE813 nothing needs to be reset. You are not changing the air volume entering the intake manifold. 100Kpa = 100Kpa. The only restriction you may be clearing is the dirty air filter which will be quickly corrected for by the MAP sensor.
Now if you are replacing your MAP sensor, by all means. reset. The voltage values need to be cleared from the ECU. Also if you are installing long tube headers and X-pipes, the stock intake "may" become a restriction due to the increase in vacuum pressure by the increased exhaust velocity. However, that requires actual tuning of the ECU as you are changing the O2 sensor delay.
Also you cannot remote start a vehicle with these modern ECU's when the hood is up.
All you are achieving is resetting your internal clocks which is more of an annoyance than anything else.
