Even after the lesson learned from OIF and OEF, where is the protection from IEDs, VBIEDs, and shrapnel? it's fast and lightweight, but it looks high risk. Having hybrid ones would be a big help for night operations to.

Electrified tech are silent and much faster, also meeting carbon reduction requiems. Battery w-h, weight and charging will be challenges but electric engines are much, much faster than reciprocating engines. Also autonomy is the future of recon and supply tasking and provisioning.
