- The Multi-Mission Compatible Rapid System (MMC-R) enables land & sea platforms (tactical vehicles, boats) to be rapidly configured to the continually changing requirements of the modern battlefield. It is a cost-effective
weapons and ammunition mounting system that allows users to rapidly configure a vehicle platform to suit mission requirements. It provides multiple weapon options in a single system.
The MMC-R is compatable with the Dillon Aero M134D, M240
(MAG58)/M60/MK48, MK19/MK47/HK GMG, M2, PKM and others.
The MMC-R is designed to be compatible with CH-47 space limitations on vehicles designed specifically with this in mind, like the Polaris Dagor. To achieve this, the MMC-R Weapons SubMount folds down and the Universal Ammunition Sub-Tray quickly disconnects from the bearing assembly to accommodate CH-47 transport. This allows the user to bring a vehicle to ‘mission ready’ status in a minimum amount of time.
The Universal Weapons Sub-Mount will accept Dillon Aero’s complete line of HiCap high ammunition capacity weapon mounts.

Unless it comes with addon armor kits, I doubt you'd want that much firepower on a platform where light small arms fire will neutralize it.
That makes zero sense. The less defense you have you'd obviously want the maximum amount of offense to break contact...
Ever hear of fast attack vehicles?
Ever hear of the GMV, or Gun Motor Vehicle? It’s a SOCOM specific HMMWV variant with no armor, and machine guns in place of doors. Maximum firepower, maximum speed, minimum weight/drag. Triple Nickel (ODA 555) use these things to great effect in HOA.

That's looking more than just a wee bit too top-heavy for actual combat maneuvering. The Dagor is all about speed of deployment, infill, engagement, and exfiI--think of a modern version of the SAS Jeeps in Egypt in WW2. I suspect it would be far more effective (and much lighter) with a remote mount, more ammo loud-out, no need for a gunner, and two plain-Jane 7.62 FN-MAGs.
