I tuned my car identical to what you have in the video and haven’t heard a single pop. I’ve also only experienced a significant loss in power. Not sure what’s going on. I don’t have cats. Could that be it? You should share your secret sauce

I had done this pops and bangs tuning on my V6 3.6 and my engine was gone I had to replace it with the new one as the old engines pistons were broken and smoke started to come out of the engine. Help me

Am a bit confused when you said "Allows the Cat Converter to build more heat", How is that so? as catless cars pop louder than a catted car, I may just be missing something. Nice vid by the way, am trying to make my pops louder in my mustang but there is very limited info on HPtuning a mustang, so have to gather here and there lol. Thanks for the vid.
So the cat has to heat up so that it can pull all the "emissions" but the temperature is controlled by fuel cooling off the cats. So when you max the ECT and pull timing more fuel is sent into the cats and ignites the fuel creating the pop

I do still have stock cats with no damage that I have seen. But it will break down the cats over time, if you can upgrade to a catless down pipe do it.

Yes, so GM will have a High and low octane spark table. That is your only spark table (much easier BTW lol) but what I would do is use your Scanning tool go for a drive and log your timing throughout the drive. Then look at where the hits are on deceleration and start adding Negative timing were you see fit. Once you find that sweet spot copy and paste your high octane spark table into your low octane spark table. Then you should be good to go!

Yes it should, you may have to play with the tables a little just to find the sweet spot.

Unfortunately yes 2015 and up need to have their ECU unlocked. You can send it to HPTUNERS and I believe it's a 2 day turn around

These instructions are incomplete. This will cause the throttle to hang. Should make the minimum spark table match.

Without cats it will be more aggressive. You can make it happen either way.

These adjustments only generate popping in park or neutral. Does NOT pop, crackle , or snap, at all on deceleration ! Sounds like a gargling sound , that's it.
You need to play around with your spark table to see what works best for your car. What works for mine may not work for yours

@@mafiahalo93 so 2 things, 1 I completely forgot to add that you need to adjust your minimum spark table to the negative timing in the base table (sorry) and 2 the negative timing i showed was just an example. You may have to bring the cells closer together. What is happening is the car is hanging idle due to the negative spark for to many cells. I hope that makes sense

I'm not sure honestly when I do the cam ill pull the head and check the valves

@@hassanabas1549 so honestly a lot of it has just been me experimenting with it lol if I was to add fuel I would do it in the low engine load/mid RPM area. If its NA you really gotta throw some crazy stuff at it to hurt it, however if its boosted thats a different story lol

Quick question for anyone that has any knowledge on the 2011 5.7 hemi’s. I’m looking at getting one in December but I’ve read that people said the 5-speed transmission is very clunky and slow. Will hp tuners be able to fix that and unlock its full power ?
Yes, the Nag1 can be a little clunky. But with HPTUNERS you can gune the TCM and really dial it in.

Do you know how to make a 392 hemi spit flames? I already got my cats mufflers and resonators out and have long tube headers. I do get pops but no flames.

@@DropTopPerformance I use diablosport (unfortunately I didn’t know hp tuners existed at the time I bought diablo, or else I would have gone with hp tuners) and I have no clue how to tune with it. I’m pretty sure I need some sort of license in order to custom tune it and look at my data logs

Unfortunately I'm not really sure, the software is the same but the engine is different. So use the same concept in a different group of cells and it should work

Daniel Schmidt when your charger/challenger is in park or neutral your ecu limits to 4,000RPM. That is completely normal for your car to do.
Yes so once I get settled here in the states I'll do a video on how to take off the limiter while in neutral using HPTUNERS!
@@daytonrd17 I know that. I got the rev limiter bumbed up to 5500 rpm when parked. But my rpms would stay stuck around 4k even with the foot off the pedal.

Honestly man the only real downside would be if you have Cats still. But if you have long tubes or no cats nothing.

No Hptuners allows you to modify the tables within the stock ECU
so the more negative timing the louder the pops?
Yes however I do not recommend more than -25 degrees

Cant you just keep your stock tune file from the factory and reinstall it when you go into the dealer, they dont need to know.
it's all good and fun till your engine drops a valve, and leaves you with a 15k bill new engine + installation.

Go to your minimum spark table and make sure where your negative timing is in the base spark table reflects into the minimum spark table.

Jesus H(emi) Christ! It’s a HEMI, not a Honda. If all you’re doing is sitting around in TacoBell’s parking lot revving your engine, by all means, make it pop to your heart’s content. Just be prepared to pull away from the green light with the rest of the Siennas. There are plenty of modifications that _are not_ hacks that will increase the presence of your car. Why would you want to dump your fuel into your overheated exhaust system in what should be a sweet spot in your RPM table? And I’m not even going to touch the transmission issues this will cause. If you want a better sound, drop the stock pipes and install a throaty-ier set. Enough said. Enjoy your parking lot & remember to tell the ricers hi for me!
