    I really not like to write comments , but I want to thank you about the information it’s really very helpful I have problem my machine gives me a code ( DHE ) and my mother got upset and when I seen your video and you explain make it very easy I opened the machine and I saw the yellow wire pend and go out a little so I plug it and correct the pend and know its work as nothing’s happened and my mother very happy ❤😂

    Well, it is a good tutorial. It encouraged me to open up my machine and look for the problem. And it was problem related to a cable. The fan wasn't working properly because the cable was broken. It looked like it was a bad design of the part that was holding the cable together with the fan. It was so tight that it kinda cut two of three wires used by the fan. The fix was easy, though, as the cable was visibly damaged.

    Thanks a lot, this really the cause for my combo washer/dryer showing 'dhe' error code. Can't imagine having LG technician to come only to reconnect the wire pin.

    Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately it wasn’t just the cables on my machine. But I did hear a clicking sounds inside the fan, so I opened it up, cleaned it free from lint, and now it works perfectly.

    The video has been extremely helpful. Thank you. In addition to fault finding. If everything seems fine, I found my heat sensors both input and output to have had dirty. They are situated, first one under the fan(looks like a pin) and second one is at the down pipe after the heat element. Clean them. Cause of dirt was - a blocked water pipe filter that lead to water not cleaning the air tank below, which lead to dirt building up and the fan pulls dirty air through the duct. Bottom line, regularly clean the inlet water filter to avoid. Pressure clean the bottom tank and open the drain in front of the machine while doing cleaning. Regards

    Hello! This has been so helpful, thank you. I checked the wires and couldn't see anything obviously loose. When you said to check the heating element, what did you mean? What should I be looking for? I could see a bit of rust on the lid inside, above where the heating element is, and underneath it, the black plastic has come away, maybe melted away? But I'm not sure what I should be looking for....do I just assume the heating element needs replacing if the code is still showing and the wires are intact? Thanks so much!

    I had the DHE error but it was because every screw holding down the heating element and the blower motor backed out from vibration and fell to the bottom of the washer. I placed it back on and installed a few of the screws including and the heating element got hot.
    I purchased new screws, a new condensation tube and replaced. I ran one cycle and the heating element no longer gets hot. There are no loose wires. What could be the issue?

    Wires were all good on mine, so I checked the fan. Lint had collected on some of the fins, causing it to spin awkwardly. I cleaned the fan and all is good.

    I noticed that the wires going into the white part are cut off, and I don’t know what to do to replace it. I know how to change wires, but how do I get a new part ? Cause it seems really difficult to keep the same one and reuse it. My washer is quite old, and so are the parts.

    The blower fan on my unit spins up but stops a second after ramping up speed and cycles a few times. The wiring looks pristine. Dead blower motor?

    • @askmrwashywashy
      @askmrwashywashy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Does it heat up ? It’s likely the problem with heating element.

    We get the error within moments of the dryer cycle starting. All the connections look good. You can feel the black part is starting to get hot even in the short time the element is on and blowing so the element is not the culprit. Other suggestions?

    • @askmrwashywashy
      @askmrwashywashy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      hi i think there is a broken wire so what is happening is that current is passing enough for it to start but when its under load heating up more it triggers the error to say there is a worn wire somewhere. I would suggest tracing the heating element wires in the wire loom at the back where it bends after coming from the heater there will be a break there

    I have the WM3477HW 24” washer/dryer all-in-one. dHE code started coming recently. Dry cycle would go for 6-7 minutes and then stop. It has happened 15-20 times. I then tried turning off the water supply valves and coincidentally the dHE code no longer displays. Clothes come out dry. However, I decided to do a dry cycle with the water supply valves on again and the dHE code came up once again. Any ideas?

    • @askmrwashywashy
      @askmrwashywashy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      usually DHE is the heating element wire thats faulty. From what you are saying try might be the three way water valve. Check it like this. Remove the top cover of the washer. UNPLUG THE WASHER. On the cold water valve there will be three electrical connectors. Disconnect the one that is closest to the dryer. Usually it has a black hose going from it to the dryer. Open the water supply and start a dry cycle. If the fault doesn't return the three way water valve is faulty

    Hi! Thanks for the video. DHE error could be caused due to dirtiness of the fan or the heating element? Maybe caused by quality or excess of detergent
