Don't use dryer function much. Found the dHE error due to seized-up blower motor, removed the six (6) screws of white blower and motor housing. Forced blower to move again. Reinstalled, no errors. Also found the inside of the cast metal blower housing corroding nastily...
Nicely and concisely explained. Mostly. Thank you for answering a question in the comments about the resistance that the thermal fuse should show on the meter. I was a bit confused when the "thermal fuse" showed 0 Ohms. A fuse is usually O/C when it is 'blown' (unless it is a crowbar-type device). Once you explained that in the comments, I understood fully. My DHE manifested during normal wash with no dryer cycle selected. It was flagged not long after the water heating element started. FYI, here in the jolly old UK, the advice from LG Support... "Try turning it off and on again." It worked, this time. Here's a funny fault for you - On an older version of this machine, we had multiple 'drum out of balance' errors during spin cycles - even with an empty tub. Eventually they replaced that machine with this one under warranty. I eventually took the old machine apart in order to fault find it. The solution was so silly it's almost crazy... Everyone in this household has long hair, even my husband. Hair had got into where the drum balancing balls are and stopped them moving. A few applications of caustic soda dissolved the hairs and the machine was good as new. We even have a spare motor, control unit and door seals out of it. BTW, beware of customers who turn off the machine during a spin cycle. Pushing the power button during a spin can destroy the drum speed sensor via the back-EMF. I know this because I was stupid enough to do this myself. I hope these little case studies helped you (and others). Upvoted and subscribed.
What about water inlet valve of dyer side have you given water also or you are testing without water supply to dyer solonoid which make steam for drum pls answer if water inlet valve do not work dyer will show DHE or no
its not related with this error massage.this error massage only dry side not stream side.if blower motor, thermostat, heater also some time thermister,,but thermister defective at that time show tE Error.
I have the same machine, and we used it for one month or less we contacted LG here in Bahrain and they replaced many parts and still same problem, note: we got this error message in every cycle! Can you help please now 3 weeks without washing machine!
Thank you for making this video

Do you have the part number for the fuse? Yellow and grey wire one
Awesome video. Straight to the point!
Wish me luck. I will try it on my own this weekend. LG's service quotation was 150 USD, which is 1/3rd of the cost of the whole equipment.

Great video, where did you find a thermo fuse replacement, I don’t see it on the LG parts list?
here in UAE, we can find it from sajajah. locale markets not from the company. It is real parts from the used machines.
hi, I have continuity for both thermostats and thermo fuse, but the thermostats shows 0.07Ω, and thermo fuse shows 0.06Ω. Which one went wrong?
Thanks aiya.
