In order to avoid damage, its vital to make sure when replacing the pin that it goes back the correct way, as the pin heads at either end are different. I always double check by looking at the pins in the bracelet before I push/force the pin back in. Useful video, this, sir.
Can you switch out a butter fly clasp to another style? I have the other type of Shinola band and it’s full links with a butterfly clasp. I took our originally and it was very loose then took another one and it’s pretty tight but wearable.
Thank you for the demo. I ordered a Nato strap for a Vostock, and I've never taken bracelets/straps off. It looks pretty easy, if you are careful. Thanks!
Great Video, j. Antony, appreciate your effort and details. I think that every watch enthusiast should have basic watch tools, they are cheap enough on ebay and other websites. Keep up the good work.
Yes...mostly. The build quality is very nice. Easily as good as 99% of the Swiss luxury watches I have examined. My only issue with it is that they only sell quartz watches. With a mechanical movement it would be an almost perfect watch for me.
Instead of using that screw-type of link removal tool, Amazon has a link removal kit for $5. It has a band holder to hold it sideways, a hammer with a metal and nylon end, and 3 different sizes of pin punches. It works nicely.

Actual "how to" starts at 11:30

Congrats, I think putting my Vostok on a Nato was the best decision I made with it.
What size flat screw driver would you use for a screw bracelet?
No worries J. Give us videos when convenient for you, no pressure from us. Keep it a hobby!!
Thank you my friend.

Indeed, totally agree and thank you as always!
Are you happy with the Shinola?

very useful video. however I don't dare to do this to my watches. cheers
You're wise, I damaged a few watches before I got good at this.
There is no arrows on my AP ...
your shinola is so beautiful. Pity is not mechanical.
indeed, it bothers me too.
Was worried you quit making videos
Nice to know i'd be missed. =) I try to do at least one video a week.
You gonna scratch the edge of the bracelet

Yes sir!
I have the black one with a very nice black leather strap. Wearing it as i type this. Looks very classy.
I'm jealous, I'm still waiting on mine to arrive, I can't wait! I have a feeling it will lead to a Grand Seiko Hi-Beat purchase.
Mehh.. not so my cup of tea. But if you get it, please make review video on youtube. Wanna see that
