I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!!! When I first started it was so brutally difficult to find decent products on top of collecting all the equipment while doing it all outdoors in the elements. This would have saved thousands of dollars all while making it so much easier to find the best products as well as getting the best results. I remember the first time I saw Jason talk about it in one of his videos and wish I could set it up here but the cost of the building and start up cost is way beyond what I could do. I seriously hope this goes like wildfire absolutely EVERY city should have at least 1 and in my climate (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) it would absolutely go crazy and I would be 100% a customer!
@@diydetailofficial looking at the comments about that they wish they had the money (me included) maybe if Yvan could do a video about how you could get financing as well as help people figure out how to set something like this up. I have been watching his videos for years and he has a phenomenal way of explaining as well as encouraging people to go for their dream and who knows maybe others are just stuck with too many unknowns with no one to help figure anything out or have people discouraging them from making such a career path. Wish you all the best of luck making this go everywhere!
Good luck to them since breaking away from CAP. I wish there was a Car Supplies Warehouse near me. Living in an apartment, this would be great to be able to have so close to me.
Very unlikely, it’s by appointment only. So not a last minute decision or a walk in. For daily drivers, with limited days off, it’s hard to schedule or foresee when your car is dirty. I did a quick test to schedule a clean on my day off, whole day is booked out. No hour windows open.
Nah. Full auto washes aren't going anywhere. Way too many lazy people in the world. In fact, they're probably what's keeping the concept of the Bays from being more popular.
Man bummed I missed this training but I’m def goes to next one! I live about 3 hours away but def want to visit the bays at some point! What a dream business!!
Love the concept one stop car detailing shop. I actually thought about car shop to work on them but the insurance would be so high. People just don’t have places to work on they’re cars with equipment? Great video hope to see one in Florida!
I went to the Bays website, and when looking at memberships it's very unclear as to what various options mean. For instance: 6 HOUR YEARLY, $1,249. What does that mean? Pay for one-year and get 6 hrs per month?
I don't understand how this concept isn't already nationwide. Even aside from the supply and education aspects (which are great), this solves one of the great remaining hurdles of detailing in the north and midwest: winter. When the temperature drops below freezing and stays there, it becomes nigh on impossible to keep a car clean without encasing it in ice. Heated garages and rinseless wash have almost solved the shiny-side problem, but 99.9% of residential garages don't have drains, which precludes underbody flushes, and even rinseless will soak a garage floor making it necessary to squeegee out. This is the solution.
I would like to see this concept in Australia. It would get around various climatic factors neatly. Direct sun, Humidity, not wanting to deal with water when it's cold out... And other factors, apartments, town house developments with minimal "communal" space... (If I want to wash my car I have to partially block the fairly narrow - two cars can pass - laneway that runs between two blocks of townhouses which I especially don't like doing as I'm at one end and the garages on either side are only about half a car length from the laneway).
Question. The 8 year ceramic is great for protection compared to the other coating (they are all great though), but 5 year is best for gloss and c6 is best for hydrophobics. From my professional point of view you I’m thinking of how to turn these into packages for clients that’s simple and isn’t confusing for them. Could you put 6year c6 ceramic as a topper on the 8 year? Or is just the c6 better than using it as a topper? If the 5 year is beat for gloss, could you stack the 5 year in the 8 year? So you have the extreme chemical protection and the gloss of the 5 year?
I’m thinking we have a 3 year coating, 5 year coating and the extreme like a 8 year coating with the c6 on top. Wondering if this doesn’t make sense to do, cause I feel like out of these coating the 8 year is the most protection, c6 is the best hydrophobics, 5 year is most glossy and 3 year has water spot resistant.
For packages sell by performance, not time. 3 , basic, 5 gloss, 8 daily driver, C6 Ceramics Hydro Lite spécial car. The only combination the works is the 5/3 or 8/3 stack. Layering others is a waste of time.
I love this. I'm blessed to have the space but I didn't always. In fact, between houses, I lived in an apartment for two years with my fionce. I live in Florida, and went to the coin op with my own stuff for 2 years. BTW, there are no police at the one I went to lol. Meaning I only used their water. But, I would have absolutely joined this at whatever the highest membership is.
The Bays are awesome and if I had a few million dollars laying around I would buy in here in Nashville. On a side note I have a product request to be developed. Pick up truck beds behind the cab are hard to reach and a tool like a microfiber madness wheel brush that is three foot long would really help me. Thank you for the video and I hope the Bays is successful as Jason does dream big.
Could really use those bays in my city. Would be nice to have those in the winter cause even suited up detailing in the cold sucks. Or have a place I can finish a ceramic coating. Just kind down the road Richmond KY not to far but far enough not to make that drive lol
God i would go wild in a place like this, full automatic, incredible suds, foam cannon, undercarriage wash - the works 🙇♂️ Man it's a shame it's not catching up in EU 🥲
Have my franchise discovery call on Thursday with Ken. I so want to make this happen!
Excellent
Amazing Concept, well done gentlemen.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I just found this place early this year. Luckily it’s only 15 minutes from me. Great for winter cleaning at a reasonable price
Thank you.

Brilliant idea, wish more existed. Add car shows, cruises, etc and you have it made.

Wow . If they went world wide this would put car washes out of business. I hope one day it will happen. Good job you guys . Keep growing!
Maybe one day!

Any plans for DIY to offer in-person polishing and ceramic coating training with Nick and Yvan at the Bays or at DIY’s facility?
Yes, we had one last week
