Man, the end of an era. And not just for Harvick, but really for the Winston era. Harvick really was the last of the old guard still out there, and now that’s he’s hanging up the helmet, they’re all gone.

The Winston Cup ended in 2002. I get your point he’s the last to race under that banner but that era had been ushered out 5 years ago. Good on Harvick for exposing how absurd the points system has become in 2020.

Sad,,,being a fan since he jumped into the 29. Got my 1st fan experience in his last race at Phoenix. Waited along time in the garage, to see him get out of the # 4 after qualifying for his last time..
He didn't show up, they pushed his car in..disappointed those who waited..thanks for the momories.

Atlanta 2001. The day I traded my #24 hat for a #29 hat, I was 13 yrs old. Still rooted for Gordon but Kevin became my favorite because how he helped heal the sport that year and followed him ever since through RCR and SHR. Thank You Kevin fir everything you’ve done for this sport. It’s been a pleasure following your career. God speed.

Hearing Rick Allen say FOX Sports ( where Kevin Harvick will be going next year) made me cry a lot because he call a lot of races there (mainly Trucks races) and was way better than the goofiness of the broadcast team of Vince Welch( who left last year) Jamie Little and Adam Alexander. How can you even trust them when they are at the Fox Sports studio in Charlotte and not at the track.
