Win rates are almost meaningless at this rate, because they're so heavily slanted by the power of Mewtwo Y.
That became clear as soon as Mewtwo X hit bottom 1 about a month ago, last I checked only like 10 mons had a winrate over 50%

i'm a glaceon main, but i'll never use mewtwo never ever...i'd rather struggle playing my main or espeon

I mean when u got a pokemon like inteleon which doesnt even need to hit auto attacks to output a full icicle spear attack, + have better mobility and a better unite, its hard to pick glaceon over it. Mewtwo Y also fills pretty much the same role and theres no need to explain that one further
I like your explanation a lot better than Spragels just saying it's because "Glaceon players don't know how to play the pokemon". There's just pokemon in the game now that out class Glaceon. The lack of mobility compared to its counterparts is a HUGE reason it's the lowest.
Yeah, icy wind may be a sure hit but at least it requires some setup first
I don' think you have an idea on how to play glaceon. It solos any liquidation/snipe shot inteleon even with a bit lower HP+it literally heals. The best inteleon and glaceon players after colliding will always have glaceon winning in the end.
Those icicles are like your own mega gauge, except you actually need to charge them because they fell off when out of combat.
Having said this, this applies to many pokemon on this game, so everytime someone points out win rates or pick rates, ill show them this video.

Ice shard is bugged now. See at 2:45, the last ice shard doesn't come out and you don't get 2 ice crystals either, instead Glaceon basic-attacks instead of the last ice shard. Similarly at 2:57.
that's just visual bug
the icicle spear in visual is 8 icicles but it throws 9 spears, I count it on slower speed
@@metarustic03False, it's nothing to do with Icicle Spear. The first timestamp has the "Fake Ice Shard" bug where Glacy uses the animation for firing enhanced shards but fires a normal basic, and the second one not only has the same bug happen but after it happened, it took the 4th basic attack to be boosted instead of the expected 3rd
@@metarustic03 That is a different situation I believe. Only the last ice shard fails to come out due to the bug. If you press Ice Shard during Icicle Spear it probably works fine and fires 2 additional crystals. But if you have 0 crystals and use Ice Shard, you will hear the Ice Shard audio 4 times but have only 3*2=6 crystals.

I lot of players dropped Glaceon when she was nerfed, which don't get, but maybe that was because I actually disliked Spear Shard. I remember playing it a lot back when she was really good, but honestly Freeze Wind is so much more fun for me. It's a usable heavy-damage-at-once type of setup with a very nice miniscule dash that allows Glaceon to squirm her way out of any situation, which is much nicer than icicle spear, which usually would kill the squishy mon due to not really giving much of an escape option.

I bought her and her checkered holowear during the eeveelution event to tie my over till i got my Leafeon but i sucked so bad with her so i did regret it. Since she got nerfed again, i just dont bother to play her since i would honestly throw the game. On a good note tho, I have mastered Leafeon and really hope he gets a premium holowear somtime soon because im tired of his checkered holowear

Glaceon needs to do % max HP damage on Icicle Spear+, not % remaining HP of enemy. They nerf the damage too much, from 1% max HP to 1% remaining HP whereas I think 0.5% max HP is the sweet spot of balance for this Pokemon.
I think thats why Freeze Wind is doing so well right now. Since the shards come out all at once it allows you to do a bit more damage than normal, though even with that it's still substantially nerfed, unfortunately.@@shubhamjohri9231
I play mainly glaceon and espeon.
When I have good teammates 99% a carry with Glaceon, 90-100K damage at least.

People dont know a lot of the move or item abilities because the game dont give you the information. Like when glaceons spear bar is close to run out yiu can use icy wind and get extra Spears
Ever since I got to Masters a few days ago, I started playing Glaceon (not first time though) and despite not having held items full lvl 30 or 7 black emblems (still missing vileplume somehow), I’m having so much fun with this pokémon. Still learning but I have a solid win rate with her!
As long as the held items are lv20 it's fine, lv30 and emblems aren't the most important thing, though the small stats do add up
I would say "every Glaceon main is or a liquidation inteleon or a Mewtwo why now" both are even easier and hit harder
Icywind also require specific held item and emblem page and judging from average unite player held item in some of my game im not surprise why it wr is low . And Liquidation is easier than icicle spear
Mewtwo X was more of an issue than Y for Glaceon. That FS pull was usually instant death. Still feels great otherwise though. My wr with it has been much lower past couple of season than average though.

I'm not a one trick but definitely a Glaceon main. Been using it with icy wind to counter mewtwo because I can just one shot it. Had a couple 150k damage games with opponent mewtwos being around 50k. It's a great counter pick.
I do feel it needs practice with attack timing more now. I still find it hard to fight when someone knows what they are doing.
Maybe players got drunk and accidently losing Glaceon accuracy that resulted to Glaceon winrate😂
The ice shard is a little too high right now, so unless you are jungling you really feel the nerf.

I think I speak for all us glaceon players when I say we Appreciate you for making content about our favorite pokemon, thank you spragles you the best
Inteleon is just a better Glaceon. You can infinitely generate Inteleon's critical counters by staying far away from enemies, using Fell Stinger on a nearby wall repeatedly. Unlike Glaceon who has to move into basic attack range to generate Ice Crystals. Inteleon also has mobility and stealth to rescue it from sticky situations whereas Icicle Spear Glaceon is solely dependent on Eject Button/X Speed. That and the Ice Shard bug is what I believe led to Glaceon's decline.

In addition to what you said in the beginning of the video I think that a problem is that picking an attacker makes much more problematic for the team to pick also Mewtwo Y, and if you do so you have still to sacrifice an Inteleon pick otherwise the team will be unbalanced. And it can't be denied that M2Y and James Pond are much more better.
As a Glaceon master, I have to agree most players that use Glaci just don’t know how to maneuver with her
and that's why i kill alot of Glaceon in a bush with Gengar
I feel like with absol players it's the same thing...yes absol needs a buff but I feel like it's also players that don't know how to actually play absol

I'm struggling as a glaceon main, but I'm pretty excited, I'm close to the gold ribbon
Glaceon has been my Attacker of choice (though I dropped it during it's busted time for Chandelure) and I'll NEVER switch to Mewtwo Y, because I atleast have some dignity.
As a Glaceon main, I can say I still play Glaceon on occasion, even with this horrid meta. If it's in fury mode or something where Icy wind can be good, Glaceon is fun and unique, with a combination of burst and chip damage. Icicle spear though, which has always been better, especially after the buff, just directly competes against Mewtwo Y for what it does. That means if you want results, it's factually BETTER to play Mewtwo Y over it.
This means people touching Glaceon either dont know what they're doing, or typically just lose in their matchup.

I've never played glaceon. I don't own it, but if the game offers me it for the week in standard matches, then I am definitely going to try it out!!!
This is for EVERY competitive game regardless of the genre. EVERY character, regardless of viability and tier placement, has a universal Achilles heel, which is the PLAYER that pilots them. Bad players can make the best character in their respective game look terrible, and good player can make low-mid tier characters look like the best in the game.
i only rlly use shell bell on glaceon since it reduces her cooldowns for her moves & i use energy amp so i can keep using its unite move a lot
I love how they knew Zacian was OP so they gave him a strong but underwhelming Unite Move... and then they looked at Mewtwo and thought, to hell with that, let's make his Unite braindead too! 💀
The character still has bugs that has yet to be fixed but i still love glaceon no matter what. It's interesting to me, always. It had its fair share of nerfs but at least it's not too weak though.
i think is still weak because i kill alot of Glaceon lately by just hiding in a bush especially with the Gengar new buff using my dream eater by making Glaceon sleep and just kill it less than 1 second
Tbf, it's only skillshot is freeze dry and the unite move. The other moves doesn't target when it's not locked on. I mostly swap around glaceon and Leafeon though. I like when certain characters can be countered and i like when they sometimes counter back against a hard counter with good positioning.

Through my experience a lot of new or less experienced players like to play ranged attackers a lot, but they forget about the range thing. They leave their lanes and try to score and take out enemies but they end up vulnerable, most times alone and just feed the opposing team. Everyone steals jungle, nobody shows up for any objectives or the 2 minute fight. I’m starting to believe all the people I’m playing against are bots and the are INTing most of the time
I have 500+ games and a 61% win rate on Glaceon and it is a very easy A tier pokemon. Its crazy that its average win rate is that low

The enemy team was really bad, level 10 when spragel's was 14 at Ray. Also Spragels was jungling so his dmg will be inflated compared to lane. Also was not playing Glaceon correctly after the hidden nerfs.
Pokemon like a9 are what most people play not instead of Glaceon, not Y. a9 has pretty high damage and CC that can hit multiple enemy players at once. Glaceon has high damage focused on a single target and has to build shards before using. Basically Glaceon is clunky to play now cuz of the stealth Ice Shard nerf and only brings damage while a9 brings damage and powerful CC (freezes/stuns)

I love Glaceon she is my main.....I havent lost that many games with her at all. If I get jungle its usually a wrap.
Personally, I don’t think it’s a skill issue. Winrates are taken from the top thousand (few thousand?) players.
I just think that Glaceon is severely outclassed as a special attack carry. Inteleon has a fantastic secure, better mobility, charges stacks by hugging walls or using the aforementioned fantastic mobility out of combat and only needs 1 per move/auto. Mew2 is mew2, also charges it’s gauge out of combat. Glaceon actually needs to juggle its stacks and its unite is bugged and also pretty ass, your unite didn’t even kill leafeon at 10% at around 5 mins.
But apart from that, yes, it can still pop off, it still shreds stuff 🙂
Dying to a glaceon with icicle spear feels more deserved than Inteleon with liquidation

I was Glaceon and I made it to Master 3 times but after the nerf I moved to Pikachu
Everyone suffering with that Mewtwo Y and the other ambush.. spragels ambush after respawning again automatically: let's farm! Help, that part made me laugh 👁️👄👁️
It will of course be better to play through the forest, but almost always in the forest there is Mewtwo rather than Glaceon, which almost always suffers on the top lane with level 4, because to start the game you need 6, before that everything will be bad
all lot of people complain about liquidation (rightfully so), but we shouldnt stop complaining about how annoying icicle spear is!!! i have glaceon meta trauma!!!!

Absolutely, after all, that is why mewtwo is created. The only reason why is people sucks at using these pokemon. No skills be like "mewtwo is my 1st option" (only for no skills and would rather playing mewtwo instead of playing other pokemon.)

Glaceon is easily one of my favorite pokemon to play, but I like running icy wind more than icicle spear. My win rate with this poker is 63%, so I don't think it's me that's being bad with it.
If you have a full eeveeloution team you get a buff but what would happen if you play a full team of psuedo legendarys?

Tbh i own only eevees mewtwo never gave me much trouble.
I have a 60% win rate with it. It's good, but just the players playing it are not all that good. Also, Glaceon from lvl13 onwards wins from Mewtwo due to the crazy attck speed you get with the crystals, if he is not mega, when mega its like 50/50 when you crit lol. But not many people know what leveling up is and stay lvl 9-11 leading up to ray.....
Main issue glaceon has is Inteleon. In a straight 1v1 glacion will pretty much never defeat inteleon cause liquidation is faster + instant unlike glacion needing ice shard first. Other than that it's pretty much a monster
This title applies to every unite player..the pokemon is fine.. some players are just awful no matter what they play.

As busted as glaceon was... no, not even close to mewtwo y. Even against good glaceons i always felt that there was an avenue available where we could win the game. But mewtwo is just everything. The biggest difference is that mewtwo isnt only ridiculous on the damage front, but also on the survivability side of things

its play style to me is not that great... i really feel it needs a rework personally. I never use it and i rarely see anyone else use it very well. i like the idea of it but how it is in play.. just not really my style. Now i'm also a casual player, so im not one to understand every component of every pokemon... latly i just dont put a ton of time in it especially when you see mewtwo every match. But glacion is just not a play style i can connect with and i think a lot of other players might agree.
Attackers are my weakest class except A9 mostly because I never get to play them there always 2 or 3 Attackers every game.
It has the lowest winrate? Swear it was just broken and only got slightly nerfed. Way back when Mew first released I grinded out all the friend missions at once and played Glaceon the whole time, probably the first and only time I ever played one mon that many games in a row
I was main Glaceon until MewTwoX arrived, it didn't let me live, I decided to put it aside and try other Pokemons
But, I will never ever play any mewTwo, it disgusts me how easy and strong they are
My last 3 games were glaceon I won 2 of them ❤ so it's quite good😊
