A few days ago I saw a funny interaction with Glaceon. Iciple Spear locked onto my ally and I sent him back to base (I was Hoopa). So I saw all the icicles flying towards base. But suddenly, they all started flying back, it was because my ally took the portal back to the starting position. So he must have been back just to receive all that damage again xD
Literally came on here to say this. You can't go brain dead on a broken Pokémon then expect to do the same thing once it gets nerfs. Everyone just wants to win games with no effort instead of actually building skill, learning macros and micros, etc.
I agree with everything going on here, but from my own personal experience from playing glaceon I’ve learned that MOST of the time it’s just bad team. I did a minimum of 60k every game, and my Mewtwo did 30k. It’s pretty sad.
@@ifucanreadthisyouradopted6747 Every character can have bad teammates though, and I’d argue Glaceon still has some of the best potential to solo carry a game. If bad teammate syndrome effects anyones win-rates it would definitely harm supporters and defenders the most.
@@ifucanreadthisyouradopted6747 I've been looking at the scores for my defeats since i've been using glaceon and there's always that ONE person with 30-40 performance points while MVPs are getting 70-80 aannnd it's usually an all rounder crutching or griefing.
1. People see something broken in tournaments 2. People play Pokémon without understanding it 3. People lose and sometimes complain that they lose so the devs buff it.
As a newbie glaceon user i definitely believe this, in my experience in playing games like smite, glaceon feela more like a character that feels like it works best when you have the opponents attention focused on your teammate and are meant to either weaken someone or pick them off while theyre fleeing at low hp. That and one of those characters thats more dangerous when you let it get going(feeding exp) sorta like rollout in pokemon. When i had a sableye or snorlax supporting me(granted i was in bronze) i felt nearly unstoppable because it caused me to outlevel the other team in early to midgame. Otherwise bad team comp is how i can see a high loserate happening but thats with any pokemon.
I can tell you why Glaceon hasn't been doing so well. Lately there's been a lot of Pokemon that can dive on you. Glaceon has nothing if Pokemon dives on her. It also doesn't help when teammates leave the Glaceon to fend for itself.
I think Glaceon is a very dominant pokemon that often gets flack for being easy to play. I believe the lower win rate is coming from the dominance of the other Eevee's, All arounders, and Defenders. Most teams now are Leafeon/Espeon/Umbreon with Falinks, Gyarados, Tyranitar, and insert defenders here. With all these choices it's fallen into the ranks of forgotten but strong attackers.
I keep getting killed by assassins and my front line keeps running off chasing the enemy team I keep just barely keep not getting to get ko's its my favorite eeveelution but without a front line its hard to play and it just feels bad right now.
It's easy to make it look when you have jungle, because from lane it misses a lot of KOs that it used to be able to pick up. The game is also a lot more 'bursty' that it once was, so nowadays it's easy to just KO Glaceon before it can KO you.
I think part of it is that Glaceon is so counterable. In draft if you see the enemy team first pick Glaceon, just bring two defenders and you're golden. At that point only a genuinely skilled player that knows the fundamentals of the game will be smart enough to go around the tanks and target the backline squishies, and those players are kind of rare. :/
Would you do a video on Icy Wind Ice Shard Glaceon? Just for funnsies and testing? Love the videos as always Spragels Can't wait for the buff nerf tierlist
My win rate last season with glaceon was over 90%. And total win rate is 80%. I certainly don't play a ton but i play a fair amount. If i can do that good nobody has an excuse to be bad honestly.
I hate to break it to you, but nobody is that good. You likely had a lot of bit matches and didn't realize it. Casual/Quick battles virtually always give bot matches, and Ranked mostly gives you bot matches until you reach Ultra. I'm not trying to embarrass you or anything; it's the games fault for intentionally hiding the fact that players are playing against bots.
Shes my bad luck pokemon. I will pick her, when I say, we dont have enough melt on our team. And All game long Ill do fine, but end game my team without fail dies right before Ray or backcaps as the fontliners and we lose. Shes my lowest WR right now funny enough, and it has nothing to do with her lol
If it is Ice Shard Glaceon because it makes all of your autos boosted for a short time. Which pairs well the Attack Speed from those two. I personally have both of them with Alick Spoon to deal a lot of damage and naturally high crits. If the move you are going is Freeze-Dry, I won't recommend either.
I've had solid glaceons in my team even after the nerfs I've no idea why people DON'T play it?? Also not sure but I think they nerfed Ttar today, I was playing meow FTDT and won when we both were half hp and I was in melee range of him
I still ban glaceon in draft sometimes, playing against it tilts me. And if we have first pick banning one of the better counters to TTar is not bad aswell.
Glaceon is just incredibly strong while being easy to use, so it attracts players that don't even know how to play the game, thinking they can get easy wins with it. I've encountered so many bad Glaceons in my games this season because they don't position well, causing them to get caught and get KOed because they think they're HIM. As far as being a carry goes, most Glaceons I have on my team get the least KOes and deal the least amount of overall team damage. I don't understand how anyone would perform so badly on Glaceon. It's OUTRAGEOUS!!!
I havent played in over a month and a half, but they nerfed a LOT of the pain points...then added way more *cough* tyranitar *cough cough* prob gonna wait until Ceruledge gets added, then might retry playing (see if it breaths new life into the game or not)
EX defenders and supporters, probably wont be broken themselves. you damn well know that ho oh revive is gonna be only good if the players arent braindead
To be completely fair, the built isnt as broken as it used to be and it seems to be more Emblem and Red&Blue buff dependent. I have noticed the speed and damage decrease in lane. Now its time to gut Espeon and Sylveon for once. They take over lanes after lvl4. Also another great change would be Mean Look duration being shorter bc being in that circle feels like you’re on a casting couch
@@Footyfan14og the duration wasnt changed. the meters to which you cast it did. It used to be 5 meters and now it is 4 meters. The duration is what is most painful. Doesnt matter who you are, you will get deleted in that time
My money for worst Pokemon has to be Comfey. Why? Any new players usually picks Comfey which they seem to play one game and regret it. I, as a teammate or on the other team also hate Comfey. I've often reported Comfey just to draw attention to exactly how bad they are. Absolutely know which team will win or lose if I see one on a team.
@@ItsjustHydra idk if you're joking or not but that's not really how it works,, that just is how comfey is played and it doesn't break any rules (unless they legit are afk)
Glaceon is still cracked but I bet her WR is so low is because most of the playerbase (which they are bad) sucks at the game in general. She is no longer a instant-delete button.

Because Glaceon generally attracts unskilled players and the Pokemon needs to be insanely overtuned for them to get results

Q. How Are Players Losing With Glaceon?!?
A. Its a Pokemon which requires a team to play, can't be played in a Solo Queue unless you are a top player.
I think it has a low win rate because it requires a team. If Glaceon doesn't have support, it's going to fall apart.

good, that's how it's suposed to work
What if players are purposely losing that specific pokemon's win rate just to make the dev buff it and make it absurdly broken again? 👀
I don’t think an entire community would collectively do that though
@clc619 especially the unite community who pretty much collectively hate glaceon
@@slysylveonOnly people engaging with the community, which is a fraction of the playerbase.
@yndihalda That is true. Still a large portion of the player base despise glaceon
i think people saw ice shard and icicle spear nerfed twice and thought it is probably useless and it would be bad, well aparently its still good
The reason is Glaceon has no tools if it gets dove on
Glaceon needs buff
