- Don't tell these AHRMA vintage motocross riders that they're too old to lay it all out on the start line. Three of my friends from forty years ago did just that at the Barber Motorsport Park in Birmingham, Alabama, a while back. Enjoy the mud-encrusted, crash-packed action. Even champions eat dirt every now and then. AHRMA stands for "American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association."

Forgot this in my previous post: RIP Number 136, we all miss you greatly.
I hope I'm still riding and racing over the age of 60. Great video

Vintage motocross. .. All the fun of modern motocross with a much safer environment.

Ps, I`m a 2010 Husqvarna TC250 rider, but still got respect for the old machines and the guys that did ride these wonderful bikes before guys like me was born.

KLOTZ ? man, it smelled good !
the six days reunion was in Cheshire Mass.
THAT WAY WAY COOL! ALWAYS YOUNG AT HEART! MOTORCROSS THE TRUE PASSION IN LIFE!
That's not so much motocross as it is a grass track special test for an Enduro. They had the 30th anniversary of the first six-Day Enduro held in the US in Dalton Ma. a few years ago. They had a grass track special test set up similar to this. Grass tracks are an art in themselves and require their own special skills. If you want to see a natural terrain track, check out Unadilla in upstate NY. That's a great natural terrain track and typical of what you would see in Europe.
Great history !!!
like the camaradarie (sportsmanship) you must have a great time
Furman Gray = Alabama's best from 1970's...RIP Furman. Memorial Sat. 21st Jan. 2012.

Oh yeah! I watched him race here in Birmingham in 2013 and 2016. Still a hard charger. Pretty neat to see him out there on a Honda "350" and hauling ass at his age. One of the guys to beat, if you're good enough.
