Maine weather is changeable, as guests aboard the Schooner Heritage found out one fine July day. Trained professional captains and crew make certain the excitement remains fun, and not dangerous. It sure looks serious though, in this on- board video of a major thunderstorm that contained a tornado cell in mid-summer on Penobscot Bay. This is not for the faint-hearted, folks. It's real.

This is the "rough cut" of Day 1 of the 6-day Middle Fork of the Salmon River raft trip this summer.
