    1. signal the end, say ”in conclusion”
    2. concisely recap the key idea
    3. call to action
    - make sure it is a clear, logical, and easy first step to take
    4. clincher, end ”on a high note”
    - echo the opening

    Alex I'm a fellow coach (I help alot with social anxiety different angle) and I LOVE your content brother I always learn so much or get confirmation I'm doing the right stuff. I create my videos much the same, but my CTA I make sure to get down solid before dropping it.

    I love the way you put together advice and tips and contextualise it with examples. Public speaking isn't something that comes naturally for me, but your videos leave me feeling optimistic that I can apply your advice and make my next presentation better than the last. Thank you for sharing all your experience and learnings

    I used to work as a public speaking tutor at a community college. These are some of the best videos I’ve seen in terms of speech advice. It’s cool how you model the video itself around the very tips that you are giving! Awesome and thanks for the great content

    Number 3 is so important. Not just for a speech, but any piece of content, video, or live stream. I know this. And yet, I sometimes at the moment, I forget. Got to drill this in. Love the point in #4 that it shows you knew where you were going all along.

    Big time fan, Alex. I’ve been wanting to know if a Call to Action also makes sense for purely informative presentations?

    • @alexanderlyon
      @alexanderlyon  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Richard. Yes, you can use a CTA for an informative speech if it fits the topic. For example, many How-To speeches are informative where you'd teach your audience to do something. Your CTA could be to get them to commit to following through and doing it.
      Teachers, for example, are frequently using calls to action at end of a lesson that show the next steps they'd like students to take.
