The air vents on the front of the car catch leaves and you must clean them out. This is a severe design flaw of 2016 E48 engine as water makes the leaves block the air, leading to a hot running engine, thus turbo burn out. BMS also blocks the radiator, so leaves are hard to clean out, Using a vacuum with a concentrator nossel with electrical tape on the end to avoid scratching the radiator, you can slowly break up the leaves and suck them out. Typically once a year, in NE, at least 2 times a year. Also if you have lift, "loosen" no need to remove the 16 bolts that hold the pan in place on bottom of the car and use a vacuum (Oreck) as a blower to clear all material that builds up in a short 1 year period of time. Easy to do and do not over tighten the panel screws, they go on and off very easy. This save $600. USD at the dealer
Had a BMW X5 (2006) with 4.4L V8, runs very fast with the excellent matted Triptronic 6 speed transmission. Watch out for Dealers who reuse synthetic oil, they place all used oil in a large plastic bin in back of shop, as the heavy particles drift to the bottom, they skim the oil off the top with a valve near the top of the tank. Then the 8 USA quarts are filled with 5 quarts of used oil, slightly filtered and then 3 quarts of Mobil 1. They reset the oil monitor and $$$ Profit for the Dealer. Bad news, the #8 valve guide fails if you do not use new Mobil 1 oil every time and never wait for the oil monitor to change color, (yellow) the oil is too dirty by that time. Always change it at 5,000 miles, keep your receipts, they then have to stamp your book or at least you have service proof if you sell the car. Also the cabin blower filter is between the wiper blades under the hood, the dealer fakes this change and you end up with leaves that kill the motor, thus no heat, AC no defrost, killing the car early. This act is so easy to fake you out, they make $140.00 for the filter and $187.00 USD for shop time and you will never know it until it is too late. To fix the blower, you have to remove the dash board, hard work with special tools required and tons of aggravation to fix a problem you paid to avoid.
I'm waiting another year for this car it will be thousands less. I refuse to pay $42k for the trim I want when this car is actually worth $31k. I'll let depreciation work for me. Cars are so overpriced never buy brand new unless it's a Honda or Toyota. Your paying way too much for a brand new car that looses $20 of its value once it drives off the lot.
Jaxxon We what can you say, it's a BMW they are a price to pay. The benefit with them is if you buy a used/CPO BMW or frankly most expensive luxury vehicles, the depreciate fast.
+Everyman Driver well you see your reviews are very boring and they have no soul for them. and do less ads and start making them like any normal review.and don't put the red strip writing in the hole duration of the video.and actually review the car don't just take a video of you talking about stuff people already know. and you'll be fine 😂👍
I'm sure Faris that you would make way better videos. Like wtf is wrong with you? Taking your time and writing long comments about someone who actually is successful. Go out, get a life do something positive with your life!!! P.S if you have nothing positive to say just STFU!

+KingFC163 To me, they maintain a *classic* look. I think BMW is the classiest car, no gimmicks. Do you prefer stuff like the new Lexus suvs? These would appeal to different tastes.

Jaxxon and instead of $20 of its value do you mean 20%?
20% yup.. no thanks... wait for it to depreciate.. a 2nd or 3rd hand of this would be good.

BMW is looking really outdated
