Just mounted a set of your Stealth Mounts on my Yakima Lock N Load platform. Fits really well and love how they fold out of the way when not needed. Couldn't find any folding mounts like this in The U.S. International Shipping was quick. Thank you!!
So glad I found you guys. I just ordered the side mount with axe holder. Looking forward to setting them up on my Triton. Cheers again and great video. Really helped with my decision.
You know when you try to fix your mounting pins then realise it isn't going to be as easy as you thought, then you realise it's going to cost a lot more than originally planned, yeah i'm here because of that reason. The flush folding are perfect though.
Great, keen to see price on the universal tyre mount and outback mount for maxtrax. Also I’m thinking of running two universal tyre mounts on either side of tyre with maxtrax on one side and the rotopax on the other side for water. Bin bag to cover the ratchet strap.
Nice video with so many different mount options. However, I wonder when someone will invent or come across with mounting options for the steel mesh platform like the rhino racks ones. This platforms are kind of a pain when it comes to mounting traction boards or shovels.
WoW, a company thats not only listened, but is also a Do-er! I'm very interested in your Folding Stealth Mounts as someone who carrys 2 kayaks. I have 4x X-Bull boards which might be thicker than TREDS(?), and obviously they wont fit under my kayaks, but 2 might. Next problem is, I cant get them out without lifting the Kayak. My Van is high and I want my boards on the outer sides of my rack and stealthy, my kayaks also block a side mount, unless its mounted Low. So I'm wondering about a 2x TRED, Slide in/out Mount, what do you think?
It's not something we have in the pipeline right now, but never say never! Reviewing and improving our range for the Rhino is on our to-do list for the coming year.
Was thinking the same thing. I would go side mount to save space on the roof platform for other stuff but the height gain is a pain. Would be good to be able to fold them down when not carrying recovery boards (99% of the time).
For the yakima folding, could it be used north/south directly in a single track attached to the roof (no rack)? I'm wondering if there is enough clearance for the underside of the bolt, or if it would hit the roof.
I have Kaons on my crossbars for my maxtrax boards. They are so streamline, easy to install and looks great. Love them 🤎 I actually have no clue how I came across this brand but im very glad I did.
@@KAONaust hello from San Diego Ca. I love your mounting options. Looking to purchase my first set of max trax and want to mount them on my trailer. Any chance you guys ship to the US?
For the Out-back one, not really. If you're travelling in places where you feel security is a huge concern and want spare tyre mounting we'd suggest our other spare tyre mount. That said, we'd never had reports of anyone having their maxtrax stolen.
I have a gobi ranger rack on my.jeep wrangler what mount would work best ? I wanting something that hangs off the side of my rack and possibly lay down when I'm not needing them
Loving the options, particularly the stealth style mounts. Which one would you recommend for the Tracklander style Flat Top Low Profile roof rack? Preferably top mounted. Will the folding pins style fit?
None of these mounts are a particularly seamless solution for a mesh rack like the Tracklander style. To use any of these you'd need to create a clamping plate. We'd recommend looking at Raptor Racks for something more suitable for your setup.
Sure can! Just need to make sure you get the pins to suit the Maxtrax you have. On our website you have the option to add standard pins to your order, which hold 2 or 4 Maxtrax MKII tracks. If you have Maxtrax Xtreme Tracks for example, you will need the specific Xtreme pin to hold 4.
Hey Juzman, great question! No they don't. The table and the table mounts sit entirely underneath the rack. The stealth mounts, when folded, occupy just the spaces between the slats.
Sounds like a tricky one, It sounds as though nothing in our current lineup would be suitable. Feel free to call the team - they may be able to talk more with you.
They look like the Maxtrax Brand Mounting Pins. I have the same ones and they are lockable, but the lock holes are less than 4mm so most standard locks won't even fit in the hole. I'm probably gonna go for the Rhino Stow it which is lockable.
Hi Dave, valid point, but to be honest - not one we've ever experienced ourselves or heard anecdotally from customers even. Anything bolted to the exterior of your vehicle is always at risk, but for the most part, at least in our travels, things secured to this degree tend to be fine.
Great work Kaon. You’ve got just about every scenario covered for carrying Maxtrax on our cars. Much appreciated.
Thanks Darren!
Great video! As a base rack owner i know how hard it is the find accessories that aren’t made by arb, really great and innovative thinking!!
Thanks Ben! Always great to hear.
Wow, awesome selection! Great engineering.

When is your website going to be updated with ARB base rack compatible mounts?
Great video. Many options mostly for roof racks and spare wheels. Do you have any options for the sides of tub racks? Thanks
Love the rear tyre mount, great design
Thanks John! It'll be out in the next week or two.

Which of these offerings would work with a Prinsu rack? I'm especially curious about the side mount and fold down options.
Do all of these work for the maxtraxx minis?

Pretty sure there's a clamp style maxtrax mounts that rhino rack makes for the mesh if you haven't found one yet 👍
Your products look amazing! Do you have anything that could work for a maxtrax mount on a cargobear/nakatanenga roof rack setup? (LR defender)
Will the deflector mounts fit a Sherpa roof rack ?

Hi, Ken you send me the information for the brackets or where to buy
Which mount do you recommend for the side rails of the Yakima Overhaul HD rack?
are you working on the side mount folding version for the Rhino Rack? the same one in this clip that only works on the base rack.
It's not something we have in the pipeline right now, but never say never! Reviewing and improving our range for the Rhino is on our to-do list for the coming year.

I have a Rhino Rack Vortex SG roof rack. I think your tradesman mount would work in that. Any chance you ship to Los Angeles?
What’s the point of using the 🔒 hole if the nut for the pin is accessible in most cases? I can just unscrew the nut and remove the boards with the 🔒
Which ones specially work with Gobi roll bar?
Any option to mount maxtrax on a window molle panel that is more narrow than the recovery boards?
Question? Can you lock the strap onto your spare tyre for the Maxtrax Spare Wheel carrier?
For the Out-back one, not really. If you're travelling in places where you feel security is a huge concern and want spare tyre mounting we'd suggest our other spare tyre mount. That said, we'd never had reports of anyone having their maxtrax stolen.
Do you have Max tracks brackets for Wedgetail roof racks?
Hi my name is David what is the distance between the bolts on the brackets
When will Stealth Folding Maxtrax Mounts be back in stock?
At this stage they should be back in stock in 2-3 weeks.
I have a gobi ranger rack on my.jeep wrangler what mount would work best ? I wanting something that hangs off the side of my rack and possibly lay down when I'm not needing them
Same that or I’m curious about wind deflector and also I like when the pins fold when not in use

Hi guys, love your work. Quick question, would the stealth mounts interfere with your table mounts (or the actual table itself)?
Hey Juzman, great question! No they don't. The table and the table mounts sit entirely underneath the rack. The stealth mounts, when folded, occupy just the spaces between the slats.
How about awnings
Do you have a mount for a 2" round bar?
Anything for a Subaru Thule Aero bar ?
Depending on the spacing of your cross bars, the best option would likely be the one at 03:37, the Cross Bar Recovery Board.
What mounts will work on just the standard roof rails for a Prado 150?
I guess theres no mounting for just the roof rail?
Are there any that are lockable?
Hey there! Both TRED and Maxtrax Pins are lockable, using a small padlock through the pins.
Do you have a flush Maxtrax bracket that can be fitted to a canopy door ?
We don't have anything specifically for this purpose, but you could potentially retrofit one of our brackets to suit.
My ute has an arb basket mounted with no roof racks and it has round bars. Got anything for that?
Sounds like a tricky one, It sounds as though nothing in our current lineup would be suitable. Feel free to call the team - they may be able to talk more with you.
Are any of these lockable mounts? I’d hate to spend hundreds of dollars for MaxTrax just to have them stolen.

thats great untill some one unbolts the nuts at the bottom oft the pins and removes your boards and pad locks all in one go

None of your products work on a toyota fj roof rack without drilling.
