@@pokemonmaster6016 I think when they said "relatively" they mean relative to its effect. It's essentially got a 'opponent should remove this immediately' effect so it having 2 health helps it avoid chip removals and 1 attack minions which is good for a card you want to play turn 1.
That something like that is allowed to exist in the game is quite damning. Turn 1, and the druid has 5 creature in play? Seems fair. Then turn, 7 creatures, most of which are statted like 3 drops? Totally fair.
@@TheFuzzician I feel a lot of the issues with those early god plays is that the coin is considered a spell card. It being used to trigger combo or on spell cast cards tend to be one of the root causes of these things.
@@YdenMk-II I dont play those decks but I think its fair considering how much of an advantage it is to go turn 1. Like in the previous meta vs pallys if they went turn 1 your only saving grace is potentially coining the yogg before your board clear spells
Reasons to watch Trump: - Entertaining and insightful HS player - He's pretty funny - To see a shaman get born out of an elephants butthole in the intro
Theoretically meeting stone looked so good but I think the issue is that the adventurers are just so much worse than lackeys... the best one is 2 mana 2/2/ divine shield. The value generation on lackeys is just so much better that it's more than worth it to pay 1 more mana for evil totem.
It's interesting how much more powerful Battlecry's are vs Keywords.. makes sense being 1 time effects but, damn. Even like.. Kazakus Golem, the battlecry half 100% determines what kind you make.
@@scarletvrgames568 If makes sense when you think of what cards you would put in a deck. Unless a card has a ton of good keywords like Ziliax I would never run a card just for its keywords.
Gotta also take into account the opponent's ability to destroy it. An opponent on turn 2 is astronomically more likely to be able to deal 2 damage than an opponent on turn 1, so meeting stone definitely has that over lackey totem. This only really applies on turn one though, evil totem is much much better later on, giving a potential of literally any card over a 2/2 with stealth.
It's okay. If burst shaman becomes dominant, so many cards like ooze or fat taunts that don't get used currently can quickly shut it down. It's literally the archetype that can only win if it doesn't win too often.
Just played this deck and went from gold 2 to diamond 10 with a score of 17-4. Meeting stone was surprisingly good and the only bad matchup was hunter. 2 losses were 1 off lethal, so yeah guys try the deck out, definitely tier1 and broken
facehunter beats a lot. its even starting to beat priest agian with how greedy theyve gotten. cant even handle what they were originally intended to handle and its hilarious :P
@@RealityRogue most likely that is because he is constantly tweaking the deck, which classify it as a new deck in the eyes of deck tracker. Don't forget he has no star bonus this season.
Yeah, but it was a guaranteeed 2/4. The toad might be pretty close, but it's not guaranteed. Plus, the Warlock 2/4 was a Demon and the deck played minor Demon synergies. The Toad is a Beast and, well... Shaman doesn't have Beast synergies
The issue is that Toad is sometimes a solid 2 drop and is also often garbage. If you don't have a nature spell in your hand then you've got a very, very poor card to play on turn 2. Wandmaker is one of the better 2 drops in the game because it's almost never bad. Even though it isn't aggressive, it's statline is improved a lot by its flexibility. You can play it almost whenever and it'll be a decent play.
if 1 card draw card made shaman so good then it really shows how strong card draw is and how it really needs to be more valued instead of vomiting out cheap card draw cards like they have been lately.
i mean he played against a lot of slow decks, and none of them even highrolled once. So yeah. pretty ez to beat someone skipping the firsst 4 turns with this deck. Against aggro tho, who knows.

I'm still curious why they print a card like grand totem but then 0 totem support but when librams first came out they thought for the next expansion "librams are bad ok more support" then next expansion "what paladin isn't the best class ok more support"
I dont have that much issue with burst in general, but it should not be easily over 28 damage. If burst potential is like around 15 than you can play around it knowing it exist, but randomly straight up otk is just usually unfun with little to no counter play
I've been playing a lot of murloc shaman with the doomhammer package and a few of the new draw cards + 2 mana return spell to hand minion. Currently sitting at something insane like 12-1 winrate (bronze to gold)
not really sure how meeting stone fits in an aggro deck, seems too slow. drawing doomhammer every time with the one 7 mana card might make aggro shaman good tho
Stop putting nzoth in every deck and being so greedy. This is what Aggro does, it punishes greed. Meta had hardly any Aggro so all the decks got super greedy, now Aggro is back. Not to mention there is no tier 1aggro deck to begin with

Playing aggro requires no thought process and you can do it with a more budget deck, making it more appealing to the general player.. especially when reliable board wipes under 4 mana just don't really exist while a game CAN almost consistently end by turn 6.
