Scratch is good because you don't have to rely on alot of weird stuff that's not explained for what is here and how much it is supposed to do and how and what. Also getting things to show up is simple and very clear how it works.

Jabrils.... Just want to thank you for representing what a kid can do in the world (in this country?) when he sets his mind to it.
You can just use node.js to make your own local http server on your pc in order to communicate with the Tello and just code in regular JS rather than node red. The visual programming stuff is cool for beginners and getting people interested in coding but for someone actually trying to create a project it just becomes an unnecessary layer of abstraction. I also won the IBM drone challenge so it’s really cool to see you getting to work directly with IBM on this project!
Wow Jabrils, that's pretty cool! Yes you should continue with it.. I didn't know about the tello, I always wanted to code a drone but I was lacking the hardware part. But now since the tello is there, I will search more about it and hopefully do something great with it. Thanks man for sharing your knowledge and experience with us! i had a Tello drone once... it's made with the ability to toss it up in the air and auto hover, after using this feature for a while i was pretty happy with it. But one day, i had tossed the drone up to get a shot of a nice building, the auto hover feature malfunctioned, and it flopped on the ground and broke
Wes Bos did a two part series on the tello drone as well. He uses node.js. So if you want a practical guide with JavaScript check it out.

I think that you might be able to complete it by usin a lattepanda and a portable gps tracking system on a person so that the drone keeps reading the gps location from the panda and also using facial reconiction if possible in order to keep it on you.

I’d love to see a part 2 that revisits the original plan of the top down game. I’m sure you could 3D print a piece to hold a mirror in front of the camera to make it look down. The biggest hurdle would become avoiding wires and overhangs though, but if you were conscious of where you walk it could be really cool!

Made it to my birthday, and the last thing I did in python was build a TKInter window that used webbrowser to open a few pages in the default browser. This is really cool, keep working on this Jabrils! You're definitely doing awesome stuff, keep doing the fun!

To get the parrot AR to fly higher you have to use a different controller software I think.

I love the idea of a follower drone. I actually wanted a personal floating digital assistant sort of deal. Like a floating Alexia or something. What would you say the difficulty of doing this with a bottom mounted fish-eye lens would be, assuming modifications were possible to the drone?

ok so i know its no use now but i had the same problem with the same drone (the parrot) where it wouldn't fly and the controls seemed slow almost. You have to adjust the sensitivity and the fly zone in the very hidden app settings which changes the settings within the drone, from there your good to go. The drone is actually a pretty good one and i hope you make another video showing the true potential of what can be done with it. Love your videos and keep up the work, you inspired me to buy a raspberry pi and learn python, thank you.
You should have a drone follow you around and record you, and stream the output to a VR headset that you wear, so you can live life in 3rd person

Actually, you aren't putting ML to a drone, you're using ML to control de drone from a nearby stationary (computer) location. Putting ML to the Tello would be to implement your code into the existing hardware of the drone, something we can't achieve, at least, not with a Tello alone.
