indeed. Here in my state a program was launched during the summer holidays, where EMS crews can call a radio station and then directly talk to motorists via the radio, when they want them to clear an emergency lane in a traffic jam on the highway in order to get to the scene even faster
well in many cities they get along with traffic pretty well, e.g. in my city the fire department can maintain an average speed of 40 mph through city traffic, keep in mind: average!
