Love MKBHD and love Meet Kevin…. Leggo🎉
🔥
Calm down there. They are just people on youtube talking.

@@PierceJordanayy another Pierce, only met one other
What a fucking sheep.
If you fully put your fate into those sensors, then you will crash sooner or later. I have a model 3 and I still do the old school looking around before making lane changes regardless of what those sensors are tell me and showing on the screen.
Most newer vehicles come w a patch kit. They've been eliminating spare tires for a while.
Tesla will sell you that patch kit for $550
Ford lightning comes with a spare
My Kia Niro only came with a gas canister.
Something about Kevin just giving everyone a run down of typical overland gear making it sound like it's something special/new cracks me up
Paid advertising 😂
Not paid and I thought it was amazing stuff!
A rail system?@@MeetKevin
MKBHD DIDNT mention Kevin’s price targets for TSLA
Once the aftermarket industry kicks in they'll be some cool stuff I'm sure. Second note real trucks need to have good mirrors. You can't look over your shoulder while towing. Infact if you look over your shoulder while trying to get your cdl it's a fail. I know that doesn't apply here, always love Kevin's perspective on things though.
That’s a very fair point
Thats Why you can get rear left and right camera on the senter screen
And, at the same time take off the mirrors
I really hope Meet Kevin doesn't end up going down the Jim Cramer path one day but I'm starting to get CNBC vibes from him
Ever since I met him at the exchange, I think a little bit rubbed off. So basically, just do the opposite and you’ll be just fine.
Even if he’s being nice about this, I’m offended for him. Meet Kevin works 100 x harder every week than Cramer probably has his entire career.
Really though. Click the bait title throwing shade at a different TH-camr for no reason. Meanwhile Kevin is pimping various third-party add-ons. Really losing respect for both Kevin and Ross Berber with his recent flips/flops.
Seems like he is doing that . He is wrong on CZ, and when I called him on it, he literally got triggered and had to take it personal. I’ve been following this Kit for several years and just don’t know why he’s so triggered easily.
Nobody needs a spare tire. Every tow truck is now in Atlanta. It doesn’t make sense to play a higher fee for the car just because you’re gonna make spare tire standard. Nobody goes out and risk their life to change their tire unless if they are so poor that they can’t afford a membership for AAA.kevin. You are wrong.
With the high price of the truck, it Should come with an openable rear window option.
MKBHD is the goat, he got the CT ahead of the launch event, created a video with what info/features were available, Edited and got it out. Upfitting isn’t just from sprinters/vans. It’s an important use for Fleet vehicles. Especially utility energy companies. The Ford Lightning & CT in the future could make great utility/trades vehicles. Exciting for the people that keep America moving.
The car is 100k. If you can afford 100k then 1000 dollars shouldn't be a problem.
Cybertruck seems like a video game that sells you DLC that should have come unlocked initially 😂😂😂
Wow.. these aren't all the result of poor engineering and UI choices...they're FEATURES!
What a pantload. This guy is a serious used car salesman.
Most eVs have no spare tire, not even from competitors.
Get a smaller size bro on that jacket 😂😂😂 looking like a habachi master😂😂😂
Kevin is trying to save the cyber truck while rivian is ramping up lol😂
1:35 that’s gonna cover up the blinker, which you most likely get you a ticket
I'm most interested in the range extender.
So the $1200 spare tire goes where the $16000 range extender goes…so the spare tire and range extender is basically all you can carry in the truck bed?
Someone needs to make a timemachine out of a Cybertruck.
Many new cars don't come with spares these days. Are the factory tires run flats? That's usually the case when there is no factory spare.
Auto makers are not legally required to provide spare tires, but they almost always provide some type of backup option. For performance cars it's often runflat tires, and for many other cars it's a kit with liquid sealant and a small compressor. Many cars also include live SOS/roadside assistance systems. The idea is not "here's a spare tire to replace on the spot", it's "here's an option to get you out of trouble and have a proper replacement done later".
I keep on going back to this video, to re-motivate myself and to watch with my loved ones. To show them that it is possible to make it in life. The most important thing is to start. Your lessons are truly inspirational. I hope many can learn from you and put it to use. Thank you so much Ms Lucy Baldwin for putting this together for us.
a shovel with which to shovel the crap you have to take because you were fool enough to buy a Cyber truck?
Europeans have it right with their small vans. Pickups suck.
The model 3 highland also has a blind spot warning as it is becoming an EU requirement.
KEV, glad to be back enjoying your videos again. Great work.
Companies are already selling lift kits for them too. Would look way better lifted!
The “ole crank of the neck” got Kevin himself 🤣🤣
Enjoyed. Thanks
This truck is a status symbol, few blue collar folks will own this truck. They can't give the Ford lightnings away. Oh and I don't see any tradesman wanting this truck, I am one. On the other hand I'm getting old and out of style, maybe most people think it looks cool. Personally I would drive it off a cliff.
If you did you very likely would servive. Ultra safe vehicle.
So, how does the back tire mount impact the rear camera?
Love the non clickbait and info density… doesn’t mean you have to strip out all your energy! ❤
The Cybertruck is my new house
Kevin thinks ramps are for walking and wheelbarrows 😂😂
tire on a tailgate would render the tailgate useless to open/close. ? Ramp would need to be stored outside storage area, tied down, if loading something that covers the storage area lid. Ramps are often used for dirt bikes, mowers and other equipment that would surely cover that sub storage.
Those tire mounts swing out of the way so the tailgate can still operate. It's a very common design in the overland vehicle world. Realistically, the overlanding crowd are the only people who really need a full size spare these days. Anyone else is better off with a narrow small spare or just a plug kit and mini compressor. You really just need something to get you through the day and then to a tire shop.
11:31 AYOOO 😂
Nice thing is your base camp has 120V and 240V AC power included .
If you haven't watched it, go check out the Hagerty video on the Cybertruck. They layout what no one wants to acknowledge. Tesla used the Cybertruck to introduce LOADS of "fringe" tech to the EV industry. Tech that will become standard in future Tesla vehicles. Tech that will undoubtedly be adopted by every manufacturer in the years to come because it's objectively better. The move to 48V alone is a generational leap that's been needed for decades. Steer-by-wire is also a ballsy but probably much needed move. I'm not an Elon stan, I'm not a Tesla stan, but the Cybertruck might not be the best truck ever made, but it's objectively the best vehicle Tesla has ever made and I would venture to say it's the best EV ever made.
Cyber Truck is cool!
I want the satin white, gonna go full stormtrooper with it when/if I get one
Great video Kevin. Thx
"Now my bad rides my black ex" proud of your family for supporting diversity!
“My dad rides my black ex” 😂
These days you have spray in patch kits and portable pumps to fix tires. It's rare you need spare tire, yes ive used spare tire probably once every viechle i have but that was also becasue i pushed limits..
I'm looking forward to the FSD CyberRV.
I love how he sneaks in that his dad has his black x now hahahhaa
Sorry but the last time I checked, most new cars do NOT come with a spare tire.
First tesla with blindspot monitoring/indicator was actually model 3 Highland. Same indicator as in Cybertruck. Also spare tires, not sure how it is in the US, but in Europe cars are almost never delivered with spare tires anymore. Usually just a tire repair kit.
I actually have 7 reservations from 2020 FSD Trimotor. Cant afford them tho like at all lol. hello from oxnard
It’s bullet proof 😊
I want to get one. Convince me not to!
Im sure youre not in my situation but i love in new orleans and if i ever had to evacuate for a hurricane if be fucked. Not just with the cyber truck but with any EV. I would lose power way before i reached my destination with no wjere to plug in
Wait a year or two until all the software bugs come out & Most likely Tesla will do one of there famous price cut out of no where.
You are not allowed to mount the spare wheel in a way that blocks the rear lights
MKBHD is always ahead with cars and tech. love to see it. Does Kevin really know who this guy is? he struggles to say his handle all the time - "M-K erm B,HD" lol
Meet Kebin logic:
Cybertruck DO not come with spare wheel, soooo- pay EXTRA 1500$ for one AND THEN PAY EXTRA for place to put it in MAKING THE CAR EVEN BIGGER and loosingbthe tire due to the thieves....and also a shovel.
Which you will need, since this car gets stuck on a simple driveway....
The ramp is supposed to be included in the original CT...so no ramp, less range and other features equal higher price tags? 😆
Many people just look at the MSRP for the Ford Lightning forgetting the dealerships love to do markups, so you are always paying more then MSRP.
have a pack of wipes to clean off fingerprints.
Great job Kevin this was a great video you covered many things even ev others missed 😂
I hope your in good health kevin. You seem to have changed and look stressed.
Cyber truck pulls like a tank and its bullet proof like a tank 😮
Great content and demonstration!
"Now my dad rides my black ex.." Im sorry to hear that dude
I like your new format
Let's go!
@2.28, this is a standardized ANCRA tie down system you will find everywhere, every cargontrailer has these, in every commercial aircraft these rails are installed in the floor to attach the passenger seats..and in the cargo compartments to tie down cargo.
So its not a Mercedes thing, I have really no idea who originally developed this system but it excists already for maybe 100 years or so.
Correct. L-track originated in the aviation industry, but I don't know how long ago. At least several decades.
@@CL-gq3no I have worked all my life in the aviation industry, I know for sure the Boeing 707 already had these tracks, because I have seen it in the technical Boeing documentation. This aircraft was designed in the early 1960's.
MKBHD is a paid you tube artist
AND it has a bottle opener!!??!
Shut up and take my money!
Model 3 Highland have P R N D touch buttons on headliner light, similar position to CT
ty
08:24 "Tesla model 3 highland" is uptop to ;)
I'm 2mins in but great informative video already.
Great stuff, Kevin.
This is awesome!
Aye nice
With your dividers, how can you load or unload anything from sections 1->3 ?
Barkeepers Friend people, couple bucks 😂
You are the GOAT.
The Cybertruck is compelling because all the regular trucks creeps at 80-100k too.
Kevins mentioned a few times about the tent and not being able to use the cabin heating but there is a mains adapter in the back so you could have a heater in the tent?
Most portable heaters are 1500 W which would be 12.5 A. I believe the cyber truck outlets are rated at 20 A, so this could theoretically work.
Sounds like a HUGE fire hazard
@@magnusred2945, ceramic heaters or PTC heaters are almost impossible to start a fire with. Just avoid the old school heaters with the exposed red hot wires and everything will be fine. An electric blanket would be an equally good choice and they use very little power.
Cybertruck has two 20 amp 120v and one 40 amp 240v outlet in the bed so enough to turn the vault into a giant oven. Most RVs are powered entirely off one 30 amp 120v plug. So, heating it to a comfortable level is no problem at all. Hot water, fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc. would not be an issue either if you can fine space for it all. Plenty of power though.
Awesome review on review!
I am gonna have a very difficult time getting over the aesthetics. I’m like 99% sure Elon drew the original concept sketch himself, high on ketamine.
Better look at the Top Gear review where Franz says he did the design and Elon approved it.
Underated comment right here 😅
It wasn't a review 🤦🏾♂️ it was a touch-up
Great video. Love the ending with mini tax lesson
I hope one day mkbhd will use Kevin for clickbait😇
As my Dad would say, I wouldn’t have one up my 🐴 if I had room for a sawmill”. 🤣🤣🤣
Interesting, keep it up
..."and now my dad rides my black ex" 😭😭😭😭😭
I honestly dont understand why they didn't design the sub-trunk storage compartment to fit a tire.
Most cars with run flats don’t have spares. DOT approved selling cars without a spare as long as the car has run flats.
Does it come with a jack to remove tire
Kevin never bought a wheel before
Just plug in your split unit in the back for your heating and cooling
Actually most modern cars do NOT come with a spare wheel. And 20" wheels are expensive. Thhhhpp! 😝
Kevin. The 0.875 reduction in DQ (douche quotient) reflected in this new format is a true wonder to behold. Obviously my own DQ is still a work in progress (see this comment for an illustration), but you're showing the way! Bravo:)
Lovely lovely videos
I saw a bronze color wrap also that looked pretty awesome
Great video
Cybertruck ❤❤❤
🔥
No most new cars don't come with a spare. My 2017 van didn't, it was 900 for it.
Spare tire. Beleive only like half of new cars come with spare tire. Each year its less and less. Save on cost, weight, and they can just throw in a tire inflator kit instead
I liked it first ❤
the truck is 19'3" long, two car garages are typically 20' x 20', with anything protruding more than 9" off the back wall the truck will not fit. Add the spare and it will be very close in a standard 22' one car garage ?
