Glad you enjoyed it Gary - I hope you enjoy your version of the tramp! Yes I did the whole tramp in those shoes. They aren't jandals, but sandals with a heel strap (Bedrock Sandals). I almost always wear sandals tramping and find them far more comfortable than shoes or boots.

Yes, we live local (ish) and do day and overnight trips from that xarpark fairly often. I haven't heard of anyone having trouble there
