This is Square Rule’s 4th original design.
It features stable proportions and neat footing.
It was produced as a sample, and after sufficient practical use in the workshop, improvements will be found and it will be sold.

Super mais c’est un peu dommage de ne pas avoir opté pour des taquets en bois pour relier l’assise aux traverses hautes.

Je ne sais pas si votre interprétation est correcte, mais votre avis est que la partie supérieure n'est pas suffisamment renforcée. Comme je l'ai écrit dans le texte principal, ce tabouret est un échantillon. Il sera vendu après au moins un an d'utilisation réelle et de renforcement structurel transversal.

This is an amazing, economical and straightforward design. The proportions are great - do you use the Golden Ratio when you design furniture?
Also - love your unboxing scenes, and today I learned they actually do make calipers that huge.
I neither majored in design nor thought deeply about the golden ratio.
Having a lot of manufacturing experience was also helpful, and I like looking at the proportions and details of ready-made furniture on the market, memorizing them, and applying them.

The basis of furniture manufacturing is right angles and measurement to reduce errors. I think this is a minimal effort to reduce errors.
Great work as usual! So you made the curve in one half of the seat, then glued the two curved pieces together? If so, why did you do it that way instead of using the curved router sled on the whole seat that I've seen you use before?
That's a very good question~
Like you said, I did the rough work one by one and glued the two together.
That jig is just for that.
This is because the curvature of the curve is different.
If I continue making this design in the future, I plan to machine it like a jig for a chair. Thank you for your interest!
