I have been a hobbyist woodworker for years. This is NOT woodworking. This is so much more than that! This is artwork with wood. This is a level of craftsmanship that i could only dream of. Absolutely beautiful!
THIS is how to make a video ! No annoying music. No unnecessary dialog. Excellent production camera work. And what a beautiful workshop and tools. A woodworkers wet dream.
I like someone speaking IF they're good at explaining and stick to the point. It's probably because it helps with how I learn - visual and audible. This guy's talent is beyond those who would be considered very good. He's done the wood gods proud
I've been a woodworking hobbyist for 25 years. I couldn't design something this nice if I had 1000 more years. Some people have the eye for design and elegance that everyone else can only dream to have. Beautiful. Truly a master crafter at their best.
@@vovan8544 I don't think you realise how complicated and hard this is. Man mentioned that he is just a hobbyist. He is not being ridiculous, this is one really hard project man.
There can't be a finer woodworker than this gentleman. I'm a hobby turner and furniture maker and have learned so much from these videos but I will never reach his level of expertise.
You don't need another information, about the fact how great is this table - You probably know this by now. The song that starts at 18:48 (Luwaks - Departing) comes great with the look at the finished piece. Real pleasure for both - eyes and ears. This is what TH-cam has been made for!
I absolutely love your designs and wood artistry. Your work what furniture making should be: elegant, rich, beautiful joinery, and a product that will be admired throughout generations of ownership. You are not taking a slab of wood, pouring gallons of plastic into it and bolting on some steel legs, no you are creating a masterpiece.
My beloved Grandfather was working as a carpenter. After 7 years as a programmer which is pretty not satisfing, I was looking for something new. Something that will light the spark of passion and interest. Long road is ahead of me but if someday I will achieve 20% craftsman as yours Nick, I will be the most fullfilled person in the world. Thank you for being inspiration. Greetings from Poland
Starts with such a dramatic intro like he's about to save the world, then wanders into the shop looking like "aahh geesh, is it the weekend yet"!?! ............ just giving to a hard time!! Love that glue up table system you've got.
I worked this trade for over 50 years, people don’t realize the amount of thought and physical work that goes into designing and making pieces of furniture, very nice work, and a beautiful shop❤️
I love the texture detail on the sides… the slight curves also bring out a lot of character. Very well and precisely made! Keep up the great work and thanks for the exceptionally good content!
As a hobbyist woodworker and photographer, I must say - DO NOT underestimate the huge bonus effect that the light, shadow and dark background adds to this perfect artwork with wood (for the last minute of this video)! Imagine what you would see if it were placed in a messy workshop under a daylight globe.. : ) Thanks for making this video. It gives us way more than demonstrating how to make a wooden table.
I've watched this video several times. Your ability to shape the wood from different angles is absolutely mind-blowing. It's on a next level and I love watching your process because it helps me see how you think. Your work helps me out with my channel. Thanks for putting your content out there for us to see.
I am new to this channel and new to woodworking. I’ve been watching a lot of woodworkers and seeing everyone’s different techniques. This man here is the best I’ve have seen yet. The craftsmanship is second to none. Beautiful!
Stunning work. I watch your work and I can't wrap my head around the fact that people are capable of being this creative and able to think and plan that far ahead for everything to line up perfectly. Nice job!
I AM TRULY BLOWN AWAY BY YOUR WORKMANSHIP. I just wish that there was a commentary over the video describing the processes and the result you are working towards. You are a master of your craft and I feel that a voice-over would help those of us who are learning to understand the how and the why of what you are doing. Again, thanks for the master class.
im not sure what to say here. I've followed legends in the woodworking field for a time now, I just stumbled across you. Your on a seperate tier my friend. your skills are top notch, but what i enjoy the most is the analytical approach to your builds. you have every detail hashed out and each peice turns out beautifully. love your work, keep it up. Wildly inspired by you. PS - i've never seen mention of your shop, my goodness. woodworkers heaven! Merry christmas sir, cheers!
Mr. Huber, you have shared everything I have thought and felt, thank you for expressing my feelings as well. And Mr Pedulla, thank you very much for the inspiration!
Fantastic job, Mr. Pedulla. This is the first time I see the nice appearance of that copper foil on wood. Amazing combination with the natural color of the Victorian ash.
I am speechless about how precise and how beautiful this writing table is, your choice of music and your camera work is second to none, thank you for your fabulous videos!
First timer here...and I am speechless. This work is stunning! It's 9 PM here - yet I would like to just go out to my workshop to test a couple of tricks I've just saw :) Thanks!
You can always tell a master craftsman by looking at the fine details. If the details are spot on, the rest of the project is as well. This is a beautiful piece. You called this a writing desk, however I would say it's a work of art. It's that good my friend. I am envious of your beautiful talent. Thanks for sharing.
I build loads of tables (never two alike) and am always looking for new ideas and inspiration. Your incorporation of a curve where the top meets the skirt rail is brilliant. I hope you won’t mind if I lift that concept for one of my designs. I believe this is the first of your videos I’ve watched. I’m now a subscriber. I am intrigued by the sequence of your cuts, which took a fair amount of confidence that your subsequent cuts would meet your expectations of precision. Very impressive.
The craftsmanship *is wonderful;* couldn't be better. The style *is perfect;* the "thin top" is stylish/sleek and really draws your attention. As for elegance [please know this is *not criticism* merely an observation]: to enhance the existing elegance, a slight matching taper on the legs [like the top], and a slightly darker wood for the rails [w/o the carving], would allow the copper leaf to stand out more. Again this is merely an observation; its still a gorgeous table. *Well done.*
Wow what an amazing design and superb woodworking. Very interesting technique to get complementary curve templates. Stumpy Nubs showed router only technicque that uses setback using ball bearings.
Muchos podrían decir que buenas herramientas tiene. Los carpinteros admiramos a este señor porque es un verdadero artista que puede plasmar sus proyectos. Este Sr hace los mejores trabajos con técnicas precisas. Felicitaciones.
Very cool man! I particularly like how you hid the laminated wood joint for the legs in the corners. I will have to try that next time I make table legs!
Beautiful table, such an elegant design, Vic Ash is such a beautiful timber, I love the way you cut the joined timbers for the legs, such a smart way to hide the joins, 👌👍
It’s nice to see someone that knows how to set the guard on a bandsaw. Soooo many folks come so close to cutting their fingers off by leaving the blade exposed.
I follow you since your first video and I must say, this is something beautiful. Every part of this table has so many details. Keep up the good job and thank you very much for this video!
Jaw dropping! I love your ascetic design and highest class execution of details. Copper line looks amazing. This is it for now - I have to wtach your video again. And angain, and again...

Agreed, this is art!
Love how you gave it the appearance of curly wood. Awesome!!
Agree 💯

I hate what TH-cam has done to most woodworking content. This guy does it right

That moment where the table top met the legs is just blissful. It's perfection. Some of the best woodworking I've ever seen on TH-cam.
it is not everyone around the globe who owns a shop packed full of nice machines. you made it!
Good machines with a good craftsman...

Mate. I learnt more about jigs for legs in that one video than all the others combined on TH-cam. Awesome workflow and beautiful desk.
Glad it was helpful!

My goodness the moment when you drop the top in. That fit! Chef’s kiss.
Immaculate shop, attention to detail, precision cutting, and next level craftsmanship. The end result is just stunning.
Congratulations to the people who designed and built the machines.
If I had all that equipment I STILL couldn't do what you just did. Simply beautiful work. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day.
Thank you
I can’t imagine how much time and effort has carved just an impressive skill set. Bravo.
By far the most incredible piece of furniture I've ever seen being made on TH-cam. Absolutely perfect.

Wow!
Those freehand scallops must be shimmering in the light! It's like sculpture.
Thanks for the video!
Stunning artistry. Elegant lines and contrast of grain in the finish. The copper inlays just adds to the overall esthetic.
Thank you
