I met this scumbag at the so cal game expo and asked him to sign my hat. He laughed at me and then I cried 😭😭😭 lol I'm kidding. Caleb was super nice, we took a pic together and he signed my hat. Great guy!!
I wish I could have talk to Caleb about the Gamecube gambit as a turning point in his channel. There is things he doesn't seem to realize. I saw him at Midwest gaming classic but just meeting someone for the first time and being like 'hey let me criticize you' isn't really a nice thing to do. But to start with people were living vicariously through him. We can't just go out and buy every gamecube game we want, we were watching Caleb do it and empathizing those feelings ourselves. So when he sells his collection it goes against what a large majority of people would do and we feel 'betrayed' or at least it breaks that immersion that brought us to the channel in the first place. For most people who collect games, when you collect it you want it forever, you don't sell it without a very good reason or a very long thought process. And I could go on but it at least starts there.
That is very strange. To get attached so some one else’s collection. This is TH-cam it’s all entertainment these creators are trying to keep you entertained. I don’t mean to sound like an asshole but if folks really think the way you do, they seriously need to take a step back and re evaluate how much all this retro video game stuff means to you.
@@gilbertoarellano8525it just shows that he buys as low as possible to not collect but to resell. Most of us do the same thing but we intend on keeping it. Not reselling it. If Caleb ever acts like he wants something we know it’s not for HIM it’s for profit and that is the opposite of a ton of his viewers
Gabbo vs Caleb hate argument is easy. Gabbo doesn’t have a app that he charges for that funnels games to him to resell for top dollar. He also asks for discounts for EVERYTHING when the goal is never to keep it. I bet Gabbo didn’t charge Riff a premium for the nes games he bought from him 😂 Gabbo personality is also much more likeable then Caleb
@@pfromdapab Again these TH-camrs are entertainers they are here so you can watch their content and if you like it hopefully stick around. Why would what anyone does with their collection especially someone who profits off creating content matter to me? I’m a collector myself I’ve sold certain items whenever I needed some quick cash does that not make me a real collector?
caleb's trasparency the key to his success. he was honest from the start and he just made a business out of his hobby/passion for collecting games. he was not like other game collecting channel in youtube, he was honest about everything because reselling was the core of his channel in order to fund his collecting but now the collecting side of the channel has been lost because his focus is now the business side instead of the hobby side of it. kudos to you caleb for being transparent!
Pixel Plus 😢 guys, boys…Phoenix Resale is genuine!!! Genuinely ruining mom and pop shops all over! Your legacy will be forever remembered as the DUDES that decided it was all about THEM not the community. Narcissists! Oh yeah, PART 2 video now in production talking about ALL OF YOU!!! Thank you guys. I have been a collector for years and dont even trade stuff, but I love watching Caleb. He is just a guy running a business and it cracks me up he gets so much hate. Seems like a genuine honest guy willing to teach his journey. He is easily one of my favorite youtubers and will never hate on someone making a living in a hobby I love.
I'm a re-seller too. I re-sell electronics, mostly iPads, Tablets, BOSE Stereos, things like that and IDK why anyone would want to hate on someone just trying to hustle and make some money. Trust me, it's not as easy as it seems either it can be very mentally exhausting dealing with customers and returns and all that. Also, I don't think it's anyone's business if Caleb is a gamer or if he has a love for video games. Why does that even matter? It doesn't matter at all!
@@LeadMe2TheBliss Right and if anyone thinks about it really how would you buy anything retro game related or otherwise if not technically through someone reselling it. Just crazy people get butt hurt like this one guy kept them from getting a deal
Right or wrong, resellers are essentially making money at the expense of somebody else. Essentially the same reason people just destroy game stop for the amount they pay people for their games. Caleb is just essentially a one-man mobile game stop. The only part I dislike is the exchange between resellers at conventions and such that inflates the prices of games and collectibles. It prices out people from purchasing items they genuinely want. Love the pod!!
Perfectly said. It really is that simple. It's not as bad when a collector sells games because it's occasional and they don't make their living from it (and therefore it doesn't affect market price as much). People dislike middlemen in any industry because the mindset is that they just increase prices to make a profit without adding any value.
What I appreciate is you all guys stick together and support each other which is really missing from the community as far as the TH-camr’s go. The hate for you all guys is weird. People overlook that as Hobby’s grow (video game collecting) or Pokemon card collecting the market sky rockets. Demand causes spikes in prices. And not resellers necessarily like guys like Heckin Steve like to say. Keep up the good content Fellas 🙌🏻
Maybe we need an episode that covers Cost Accounting where they discuss break even, cost of goods sold, inventory, overhead, employee costs, and tax liabilities.
Some of my favorite early collecting vids were of Pat the NES Punk at swap meets, and maybe that’s where you got the “scumbag” name from, but anyone who watched those and then watched Caleb basically do the thing Pat hated by getting to events early and making huge bulk deals automatically put a face to the hate.
So I liked Caleb early on and still like his stuff but I do find that he seems to be much more interested in the money and the flip than the collection. We almost never see him play or talk about his new favorite game or his private pick ups for his own collection. I think if he let himself be known more as a gamer/collector it would help.
i really love you all! calebs a great a good and honest guy! and so is everyone at pixel plus, i really like everyone being honest! and im glad im getting to know you guys, and the retro gaming resseller content youtubers!
9:30 silence followed by nodding heads!! i really liked this part. showed me everyone in the frame was actually listening to him and truly understood what was being told. Calebs detailed honesty for sure does breed hate from people, but those who are like minded and business savvy, can learn a WHOLE LOT from his pesale videos. from business models/strategies, tips on how to ship items safely.. and hes telling the whole world for free!! how can you dislike this man for real. The Phoenix will rise from the ashes once again!
I got into reselling about a year BEFORE I discovered retro Rick and Phoenix resale and the whole TH-cam reseller scene. I have no problem with reselling in general (though of course I find it tiresome that it’s harder to find deals for me personally) but the TH-cam scene has definitely contributed to rising prices. I had an obscure PS4 game on auction on eBay (thought it was on “Buy it Now”) and it didn’t move for weeks and then Metal Jesus Rocks did a video on it as a hidden gem and it sold that same week for FOUR TIMES what I thought was the buy it now price.
There is scumbag resellers, scumbag hoarders, scammers and even scumbag buyers. Im a buyer, seller and most of all a collector. I try to be Nice and fair and make good deals
I’ve been a gamer forever, Collector and reseller for the past 8 years now. People just like to hate for the sake of hating. Keep on flipping!!! Got you back Caleb, here come the hater hanks 😂😂
I think the majority of hate for resellers comes from collectors, because everyone hates the middleman. Collectors want to pay the prices that are as low as possible to keep the item for themselves. Resellers want to pay the lowest price possible to make as much as possible when it's resold. The reason I don't mind a reseller is because I'm not going to go out to the yard sales and the swap meets and thrift stores looking for this stuff. So in my opinion the money they make off the item is justified for the time it takes to go search for all this stuff.
I need to learn the Reselling aspect. I buy and collect/ Hoard. Youre all amazing i what you do. Keeping up on collecting reselling and TH-camr requires dedication. I made an attempt with the channel I have. I have more videos than subscribers. I have been watching Many of the people who come on here and will remain a fan for life. Keep doing what you do and Enjoy.
I wasent the biggest fan of Phoenix Resale for the longest time but I've gained a fondness for his videos and informational content over some time. I'm enjoying more of his newer videos were he interviews store owners and gets a perspective for both the market side and from a collectors side. Defiantly one of my favs to watch when it comes to games.
Great show! Do you Caleb. I don't see anything wrong. I see it as you are bringing someone happiness when they find a game you have put for sale. And same time of responsible way of buying your collection. Someone is always going to hate.
I'm more interested to see what Caleb's plans are for the future. As we age the hustle become a lot harder. What if he and his wife to decide to have kids. Will he continue with his resale business. I have a fulltime job as an accountant and have a 2 year old daughter with the side hustle of selling video games and even to me that is a huge challenge to devote all that energy without taking time away from my daughter and wife.
Pats scumbag reseller alert on flea market madness started an entire community of people that have all found Caleb as public enemy #1 all these years later lol
I am a gamer and a TCG collector.. you can definitely be, at the same time. A collector and a reseller. And also, Chris. thought that was a real interesting comparisons you made. With an older show like American pickers (Pawn Stars too). Anytime I was with my aunt and younger cousin. And we drive by a an old barn (here in the Midwest). My cousin would always ask my auntie if we could pull over and do some pickin’ 🤣😂 I also give a lot of credit to the store Round Two and their movement, that they created with vintage, during my teen years. Vintage will never be “old”!
Unfortunately all hobbies have toxic collectors and game collecting is no different. I’ve enjoyed allot of Caleb’s videos but of recent have listened less purely because of game podcast fatigue and that I like the lighter fun stuff rather than the business side. Caleb’s intellect and ability to communicate so positively is likely seen by some viewers as in-genuine. I think there’s an opportunity for Calebto have another channel if he has time where you play the game and tell stories of memories or why it’s important to you. I feel he could also interview others on this podcast and it would be really enjoyable. Keep doing your best to make nostalgia a beautiful thing because the more that watch them will experience that happiness we all need to have more in our lives.
I do agree with Phoenix Resale. He's a businessman who flips games, he doesn't need to prove to anyone that he is a gamer or has a love for video games. Why does that even matter? Do all people who drive ice cream trucks love ice cream? haha. People are strange, the guy is doing his thing to take care of himself and his family that is what matters the most!
Allot comes from the fact that caleb understands how it works & is succesfull with it if i have to guess. When your doing really good & are good in what your doing, the people that do the exact same thing but don't get the numbers & having the succes that somebody as caleb has are going to hate him for it. Because he is on that spot/place where all those haters want to be but are not reaching :)
also as a creator with a disability, ive gotten so much hate over the years and im still a small youtuber, i will say it is really hard to handle it some times, but you guys riff and caleb especially, inpire me, to ignore the hate, or at the very least handle it better, so thank you!
I think it’s just that people hate the way the prices of games and will dislike resellers because they are selling them at theses prices (not saying that they’re the sole reason for the prices because it takes two to tango) but they see a guy reselling games, a guy really open and honest about it. They’re naturally gonna go to his comments and complain. Again, I blame both buyer and seller for ridiculous prices
I’m not a collector or a reseller, but I enjoy the nostalgia, which is why I watch these channels. But I will say, the GameCube Gambit series did come off as a little disingenuous. Maybe it was just poor messaging. Caleb got a lot of sweet deals and even games for free, but then went to sell off items very quickly. I just thought it was weird due to how he framed, “building my dream collection.” At the end of the day, though, who really cares? As Caleb mentioned, he did keep over half of those games. Isn’t that what most people do in this community? Buy the games, keep those you want, sell others to fund what you kept. Chill out.
I look at it a little different, I see 2 people Caleb and Phoenix Resale. The person and the businessman are different, how people conduct themselves as a business owner and a person can be different. Businesses decisions are just that business decisions, don’t forget that and don’t make business decisions with emotion, that’s not good for a business. I like to think people wouldn’t judge someone based off of business decisions, but sadly that’s how it works some people IMO for some reason can’t separate the two. I like both, I respect the candor and appreciate it. Every CEO for every company makes tough decisions, that are not popular, for the health of the business and its employees. Keep your head up!
Actually think it’s justify to be honest: phoenix is not a collector or have deep knowledge/understanding of video games and it’s a reseller at heart. With that being said, he gotta pivot the content and what he says in videos to more resale vs collecting…so mission switch is out the door, stop it immediately. Also, take clues from Riff and Retro Rick, the latter literally has a video game store but his perception is he’s a game collector/lover first vs being a reseller even with the store…Caleb needs to take notes from those guys and really lean into being a reseller and not game collector
I like Caleb. In fact the tiresome quips from Riff throughout Caleb’s videos have long since worn out their welcome. Your audience has outgrown the little asides even though we’re aware that you’re not serious. It’s just a bit of constructive feedback, boyos! I enjoy hearing tales from all of your guests on the podcast :)
IMHO, its 100% pure jealousy. You're out there doing something they either, like Caleb said, gave up on, or want to do but don't think they can. So they go day in and day out to the job they hate and here's this dude on TH-cam killing it. This world is filled with ugly, nasty, people who just want nothing more than to drag people down to languish with them in their pit of despair. Its the unfortunate consequence of living in a fallen world. Joy is a precious commodity here. Keep doing what makes you happy. If you can make a buck or 2 while doing it, you're a Rockstar.
(99% of) "COLLECTOR'S" are RESELLER'S! ( I remember getting HATE, for RESELLING IN TEXAS, when all the HATER'S WERE ACTUALLY RESELLER'S THEMSELVES! (JELLY HATER'S) : )
I find the hate ridiculous imo. I resale to fund buying games for my collection. I would gladly sell a Zelda NES game to fund a purchase of another NES game I enjoy and actually play. Do I have any NES Zelda in person collection? No. But you best believe I have a vast majority of soccer, vertical shoot’em up, and formula 1 titles released on NES and SNES because those are the games I enjoy and actually play. $6 sky shark? Got it, won’t sell. $5 Goal NES and $10 Goal SNES? Same goes. The thing about collecting is there is a fine line between collecting and hoarding. Any collector who has a complete set of anything is lying through their teeth if they say they genuinely enjoy playing or like every single title. And one could make the argument that those type of collectors are just as bad as a reseller with high prices making a game unattainable for someone who would actually enjoy it. What’s worse? The available high priced reseller? Or the collector who doesn’t even enjoy the game but yet has it sitting on a dusty shelf in their “collection”
I do not hater Pheonix resale and have never posted hate. But i dont find his content appealing to me because Caleb with his extensive knowledge and honest comes across as a know-it-all. Once again no hatred here. I just made a choice that after the three episode it was enough.
@@bnr32jason wow you really replied to one of my commits =] remember shack fu when the trend was to destroy all the carts but keep one to raise the price then we released more carts then they cried lol if you hide the games in a disclosed location to artificial inflate prices is a crime =] racketeering part that i speak of is the gigolo work in the name of video game collecting for the inflated prices and you guys are scraping the bottom of the barrel so us broke guys don't get nothing =]as for i don't really give a shit im more mad that there fucking with online shopping prices =] so if you want to stay incognito go back to coins and comics and baseball cards act.. for favors =] stop fucking with market . sending gabbo some love x and you have a lovely fucking day
I really dont understand these "hate people". Collectable items generally go up in value. What is wrong with someone buying cheap and selling to make a profit? Do the idiots out there really think resellers are the sole reason for the value of items increasing? What about those who resell stamps, coins, cars, clothes and everything else. Do they hate them too? Come on people, get over it. If the price is too high for something you want, bad luck. Thats life in real world.
I can't believe you guys actually don't understand why he specifically is hated. Like riff please actually answer me like are you playing dumb about it or genuinely don't understand why? It's the attitude he has. There is no love or care. I'm a full time reseller at the same con's as you. But everyone can see the fake ness of Caleb. Which is fine but the jokes about it's about his success ect aren't the reason.
I always know riff is very concerned in the past with being known as a reseller. Because theres some collectors that call out guys who resell. I would just ignore those idiots. If you dont like people buying games and selling them then dont watch the content. There is nothing wrong with that. And i wouldnt give it any time of day. Most people understand that its a totally normal thing to buy games and sell em to people who really want em at market value. If they make a few bucks who cares. Dont be jelious. Theres not one collector out there that hasnt sold something. There isnt one collector out there that hasnt gotten a deal buying games under market value. Thats what people look for. Leave Caleb alone hes not doing anything wrong. He runs a bussiness just like game stop or your local game store. If you dont like him then dont watch its simple.
I really don't understand the hate that Caleb receives. I personally can see that he is a great person and it shows through his videos, but as a person that struggles with mental health I'm sure others who choose to give him hate don't stop to understand that they should look inward and try to focus on loving themselves and treating others with the same love. At the end of the day it's just games. Much Love to you Caleb, and much Love to you Pixel Plus Squad.
If someone doesn't like a channel don't watch it. I don't understand why someone creates a whole detailed episode on their channel why they hate someone else's channel. These are lonely people.
Phoenix for me his videos is just showing off how much money he can make selling games people find hard to get, it feels like a constant show off "look at me I have money , look at me I bought this cheap and selling it for loads" he has a cocky and annoying attitude in his videos. Here he seems decent though
I really don’t understand why people are trash talking any of the resellers at this point. Everyone knows game collecting is a pricy hobby. If you can’t afford it, then play a ROM or just play something else. That’s just where it is these days. I have a ton of stuff that I’ll never be able to afford, but what can I do? The constant bitching and moaning is just kind of wild to me. Caleb just has always seemed like a small business owner to me. The dude is trying to make a profit reselling. Who cares? If you’re not into the channel, then why bother watching it? So lame to me to blow up the dude’s comment section with the troll shit.
It’s because we all have an attachment to these games. So when some one watch a person go on a journey to collect games maybe they never will be able to or have already done they build a connections with that person. Now when that person goes and sells off their collections people feel “betrayed”. Also people see resellers buy games for “cheap” and sell them for a lot more, people can struggle to understand that the reseller, has many expenses and is doing this for a living or extra income. The thing about Cable that people should respect is he is telling every one his margin and he is being transparent l, if the sellers don’t like it they can always not sell To him.
The haters are LOSERS, Caleb. You should wear every bad comment as a badge of honor. Keep investing those profits and set up a great future for you and your family.
Caleb has HELPED so many ppl achieve quick flips for videogames with his new 1up application. I've spoken to him on facetime/zoom calls a handful of time's when he is around my other friends in this space. He is doing exactly what every business is doing. Buy product at x, sell it to a wider audience at Y.
Maybe if you stopped calling him a scumbag riff. I don't think its helping. I know ya joking but sometimes i think maybe you believe it a bit and it comes across, then other people think its ok to say it too. Just a thought. Love the show
I emulated the Celebrity Deathmatch game recently, and damn I miss that shit during Super Bowl halftime! Haha I vividly remember Pamela Andeson being in one haha
People don't like him because: 1) Fairly off-putting; haggles when already getting a fair deal, even his supposed friends. 2) Collectors don't like when others come into their spaces and treat their hobby like it's just product. There’s no passion from him for anything but the profits. 3) The perception is he gets an unfair advantage over others in terms of deals when buying and selling higher than average due to his online presence. 4) Clickbait nonsense thumbnails. I don't care one way or another but he comes off disingenuous as a COLLECTOR. I don't think anyone really dislikes this dude when it comes to the business side.
People on the internet would have you believe that if you didn't drive around to local garage sales and swap meets, you are a scumbag who is supporting the death of retro gaming.
I wouldn’t have found reselling, or started my (very tiny) TH-cam channel if it wasn’t for Caleb. I would love to be able to have done what he has done. I just don’t find games for as good of deals or as consistently as he does. So now I just sell everything. But he got me started. I’ll never be able to make the connection of why people hate resellers. I think everyone should do it. Even as a side hustle. Why not have more money in your pocket?
Top 2 reasons people hate Caleb: 1. His Amazon store has worse prices than DKOldies and he acts like a smug business know it all when his whole business model is ripping off old women who buy games on Amazon 2. GameCube Gambit
The GameCube gambit - specifically the Go Go Hypergrind episode - is how I found your guy's content in the first place. From Phoenix Resale to Pixel Game Squad to Pixel Plus and so forth, it's been a really fun journey following your guy's adventures.
I found Caleb’s channel before anyone else and he worked hard to get where he is at. He’s very honest and real and as long as he’s happy that’s all that matters
No one should be upset over a re-seller, bro is just trying to make some money to take care of himself and his family. Also, no one is forced to buy anything from him. I'm a re-seller too, so I get it.
I used to watch Caleb when he was Sub 70K and thoroughly enjoyed his videos. But little by little I just didn't enjoy his behind the scenes reselling and buying practices. I get it he's a reseller he needs to pay his bills. But after personally selling off my 90 percent of my collection I genuinely felt like I was getting ripped off By Caleb himself 😂😂😂 But let's be Honest the running Joke of Pixel game squad and Other constantly calling him A scumbag reseller really isn't helping him either.
Interesting you bring up the joke about Caleb being a “scumbag” or the money meme contributing to the perception and the hate. I think Riff may want to dial that back if he wants to help him out a little.
hate comes from the bottom. only angry frustrated people need to write stupid comments. you could get 99 positive comments and 1 negative, but that negative one will stick in our minds because we're confused as to why someone would dislike us (as people). Chris, read this comment, we love you! LOL. the Pixel Family is full of good hearted people. much love all
This is one of my favorite Pixel Plus episodes… Caleb was the gateway channel to most of the collecting channels I watch now, I just miss his collecting videos, but the channel is still good
I have mad respect for all of you guys, including Caleb. I basically found each channel through the other, pretty much found you guys and then through you guys that's where I found not only retro Rick but gabbo and Caleb and mort and gone though old seasons of the game chasers and went back to watching storage wars after stopping a number of years ago just to find the episodes with Dusty. All of you guys, Riff & Ricky especially, Make all this feel more than just a community, like we're all really good friends by extension. I learned a lot about what to look for at flea markets and swap meets more carefully All thanks to Riff,
Never understood why Caleb gets so much hate. He freely gives away some of the best information and hidden gems in the reseller space. He is the one who got me into these kind of videos in the first place. I found out about riff and retro rick from seeing them in Calebs channel. Your honesty is truly something rare in the TH-cam space and i greatly appreciate it. Real recognize real hommie. ❤💪
I'm a big fan of all of you and in my opinion there is nothing wrong about flipping video game stuff, and if you can make money doing what you love then congrats to you.
I came across some random channel of this guy who put out multiple videos trashing Caleb. Really some of the most pathetic videos I've ever seen with the him trashing on him for re-selling, but also his looks, and even his car and the backpack he carries around. The jealousy and envy from the guy was through the roof, and I'd say that's probably a good 90% of where the hate comes from for everyone else. Just people so unhappy in their lives and situations they want to bring other people down. It's that simple.
When explained this way it makes more sense. Lowkey the thing I hate about my personal collection is my inability to get rid of games I know I won’t play. A small voice in my head thinks. “Hey…. You might want to play that game 20 years from now.” I respect the ability to reduce.

I’ve watched a lot of Caleb’s videos and I think he gets the hate because it’s “trending” to hate on resellers in the retro community even though 90% of the community does it. He’s open and honest about it though, which goes against the “cool guy collector that has never EVER resold” mentality
Ive been speaking out more on this stuff because I just am tired of the lame arguments.. Ive been saying the same thing about how STUPID it is to give virtue to collecting and gaming.. SOOO DUMMBB.. you dont see people like this in any other hobby..
The main reason he gets hate is because he didn't get into it for the love of retro gaming. He is seen as an "outsider" to a lot of people, thats why he gets more hate than someone like Retro Rick. Chase After The Right Price gets a lot of hate too but not as much as Caleb either because he also genuinely collects retro games and is knowledgeable on them. We all have to admit, Caleb is the least knowledgeable on retro games or games in general when it comes to the game itself, not the value.
Man, that really sucks to see how much hate Phoenix Resale gets. I genuinely enjoy his content, and I have a similar sense of humor. He will always have my sub.
Retro Rick taught me about reselling BUT Caleb showed me how to do it, and showed the actual work it takes after the scores.
If The Squad has taught me anything it’s that we pick people up not bring them down .
I met this scumbag at the so cal game expo and asked him to sign my hat. He laughed at me and then I cried 😭😭😭 lol I'm kidding. Caleb was super nice, we took a pic together and he signed my hat. Great guy!!
2:38 “I’m glad I have you fooled” 😂
Forget Phoenix supporting the podcast he’s supporting riff himself 💀

Buying every game for a console makes sense for a content-making perspective. Beyond that, it doesn't make a lot of sense.

Hater hanks, coming out in full force!!!
Love the content gents! Happy fathers day 😊
Haven't seen a single one in like 100 comments.
Ive always 100% respected caleb, completely honest about everything. People forget people can change their mind about what they want to collect
Pheonix resale definetly wacks it to Disney movies
Maybe we need an episode that covers Cost Accounting where they discuss break even, cost of goods sold, inventory, overhead, employee costs, and tax liabilities.
Some of my favorite early collecting vids were of Pat the NES Punk at swap meets, and maybe that’s where you got the “scumbag” name from, but anyone who watched those and then watched Caleb basically do the thing Pat hated by getting to events early and making huge bulk deals automatically put a face to the hate.
Congrats to all you guys! You're taking care of your responsibilities and having fun! God bless!!
Caleb is genuine. That's why i like him
Right? I thought it was cool when he gave his copy of Pokemon I think it was to Retro Wolf. Thought that was super cool.
Caleb and riff back and forth is very amusing
So I liked Caleb early on and still like his stuff but I do find that he seems to be much more interested in the money and the flip than the collection. We almost never see him play or talk about his new favorite game or his private pick ups for his own collection. I think if he let himself be known more as a gamer/collector it would help.
i really love you all! calebs a great a good and honest guy! and so is everyone at pixel plus, i really like everyone being honest! and im glad im getting to know you guys, and the retro gaming resseller content youtubers!
9:30
silence followed by nodding heads!! i really liked this part. showed me everyone in the frame was actually listening to him and truly understood what was being told.
PHX Resell is hella chill 😎 👍
Caleb why are you wearing Riff’s shorts?😂 Jkjk great vid
Caleb has a disability too, he’s an asshole
Comments shouldn't sway any of u, U guys are pioneers
Actually think it’s justify to be honest: phoenix is not a collector or have deep knowledge/understanding of video games and it’s a reseller at heart. With that being said, he gotta pivot the content and what he says in videos to more resale vs collecting…so mission switch is out the door, stop it immediately. Also, take clues from Riff and Retro Rick, the latter literally has a video game store but his perception is he’s a game collector/lover first vs being a reseller even with the store…Caleb needs to take notes from those guys and really lean into being a reseller and not game collector
We need to stop using pics of Caleb looking sad/dead inside in thumbnails lol
I like Caleb. In fact the tiresome quips from Riff throughout Caleb’s videos have long since worn out their welcome. Your audience has outgrown the little asides even though we’re aware that you’re not serious.
It’s just a bit of constructive feedback, boyos! I enjoy hearing tales from all of your guests on the podcast :)
Great video team!
Lance Cortez is the Godfather! I bow before you sir.
I do not hater Pheonix resale and have never posted hate. But i dont find his content appealing to me because Caleb with his extensive knowledge and honest comes across as a know-it-all. Once again no hatred here. I just made a choice that after the three episode it was enough.
Pompous & arrogant. Two great qualities!
tap dancing around the word racketeering lol
That's REALLY reaching. In what way is any of this racketeering?
@@bnr32jason wow you really replied to one of my commits =] remember shack fu when the trend was to destroy all the carts but keep one to raise the price then we released more carts then they cried lol if you hide the games in a disclosed location to artificial inflate prices is a crime =]
racketeering part that i speak of is the gigolo work in the name of video game collecting for the inflated prices and you guys are scraping the bottom of the barrel so us broke guys don't get nothing =]as for i don't really give a shit im more mad that there fucking with online shopping prices =] so if you want to stay incognito go back to coins and comics and baseball cards act.. for favors =] stop fucking with market . sending gabbo some love x and you have a lovely fucking day
So Riff, what would you call what you're wearing, Capri jorts?
I appreciate you tell the truth all of the time 👏 🙌
I always know riff is very concerned in the past with being known as a reseller.
The CRT tv community is the same way. They hate on people who get tvs cheap and sell for profit.
Are we really going to gloss over the underdog statement? That was profound
It’s called scalping not reselling
@@AnimeSportsguy10it's actually not scalping at all
@@CrawlingPanther how about you look up the definition of scalping before making a stupid comment
The haters are LOSERS, Caleb. You should wear every bad comment as a badge of honor. Keep investing those profits and set up a great future for you and your family.
I'm 80% collector 20% dirty reseller 😂😂 use my profits on midget fight cards and cheap smokes
Love the show
Chris is the best
I feel it’s important to analyze that most collectors get their pick ups from a reseller of some sort, almost all the time.
It’s not almost its every single time lol
Celebrity Deathmatch 2024:
Gabbo vs Curtis
Riff vs Chris
Phoenix vs Hater Hank
Special guest referee Mort
I emulated the Celebrity Deathmatch game recently, and damn I miss that shit during Super Bowl halftime! Haha I vividly remember Pamela Andeson being in one haha
where there is smoke there is fire ...remember you guys said Jirad was an outstanding fella too
People don't like him because:
1) Fairly off-putting; haggles when already getting a fair deal, even his supposed friends.
I love Xbox 360 games n if there weren't stores and resellers selling them how could I buy them???
People on the internet would have you believe that if you didn't drive around to local garage sales and swap meets, you are a scumbag who is supporting the death of retro gaming.
It's amazing you still remember those random letters from my old channel name lol.
Top 2 reasons people hate Caleb:
1. His Amazon store has worse prices than DKOldies and he acts like a smug business know it all when his whole business model is ripping off old women who buy games on Amazon
Exactly
No one should be upset over a re-seller, bro is just trying to make some money to take care of himself and his family. Also, no one is forced to buy anything from him. I'm a re-seller too, so I get it.
Caleb seems like a know it all 😂😂😂
I used to watch Caleb when he was Sub 70K and thoroughly enjoyed his videos.
LOL. the Pixel Family is full of good hearted people.
much love all
Yall need to get a table. We don’t want to stare at Caleb’s legs for 30 mins
😂😂😂
@pluspixel man what you mean Ricky got some sexy skin 😍
The only negative is that Riff is wearing pants
In retrospect, that was a lot of leg
don't. forget the camel toe
This is one of my favorite Pixel Plus episodes… Caleb was the gateway channel to most of the collecting channels I watch now, I just miss his collecting videos, but the channel is still good
Its more so cause hes a scrappy dork, i cant help that I just can’t stand him based on him as a person from his vids., lol no offense
Opening your life onto TH-cam is like playing with a dagger.......it cuts both way.
I learned a lot about what to look for at flea markets and swap meets more carefully All thanks to Riff,
4 real i got a family to feed gotta get rid of this shit not Raise Prices lol
Never understood why Caleb gets so much hate. He freely gives away some of the best information and hidden gems in the reseller space. He is the one who got me into these kind of videos in the first place. I found out about riff and retro rick from seeing them in Calebs channel. Your honesty is truly something rare in the TH-cam space and i greatly appreciate it. Real recognize real hommie. ❤💪
same here. found Pixel Game Squad and Retro Rick because of Caleb. I really enjoy his business discussions too. He seems like an awesome dude.
I'm a big fan of all of you and in my opinion there is nothing wrong about flipping video game stuff, and if you can make money doing what you love then congrats to you.
I don't watch much of Caleb's content but I always stop by for a Pixel Plus video. lol

Who will be my friend. I don’t have any gamer friends. I’m also a reseller but that just means I also don’t have reseller friends.
