I’ve had mine for about a week now, love this thing! At first before the break in process it was a bit uncomfortable because of how tight it was. But after breaking it in, and molding it to my hand it turned out so well!! Great video, as always.
I have the 2021 saddle tan DP15 and it took a long time to break in. Granted I play in a 28+ men’s league but it took a while to make closing it easy. But I love it. It sits on my bookshelf in my living room year round it’s so beautiful. If you play middle infield and have small hands like me this glove is great. Go two in the pinky to avoid the extra palm sting
Hey is a trap web good for an 11.25 44? Looking to get and infield glove that I can also use while pitching. Or, does the 1-piece web cover the ball enough to be used at pitcher?
If u want a pitchers glove get the 574 and get a 2 peice web but if you want an infielders glove that you can pitch with go pro 44 model and go either 1 piece or i web spiral lace, for an infielders glove the trapeze might be a little flimsy for quick transfers
Hey Chris I was wondering if you were gonna buy pro 44 gloves new glove the EX-10? If so please make a video on it and give your thoughts on it please n thank you love the vids keep it up.
Did you happen to flare this glove? I’m getting this glove for my birthday and I love the way the shape looks now but curious about flaring it. I’ve never been one to flare my glove mainly because I don’t wanna ruin it in a way.
I have a Rawlings hoh and I get that weird palm bubble where it flexes out instead of in and the inside fingers twist. Love the glove but don’t understand why.
Amazing glove. Care to do a glove review for “the perfect slo-pitch glove” ?? And “breaking in the perfect slo-pitch glove” love the content keep it coming!
I love white gloves that match jerseys and stuff. What i hate about that glove is that it's DP15, its too small for my hand, it hurts to wear that and im pretty young (Birthday is tomorrow August 1st). Colorway is nice and wilson is a good brand, its good for people who love the color white and have a bit of a smaller hand. THhanks for this content.
hey, can i use sarna on a blonde 44? i’ve been having a bit of trouble breaking it in because it has a thinner heel pad, and was wondering if sarna would work for it. Also, great vid always love watching.
the thinner heel pad actually makes the break in easier, you just feel the ball more when you catch/field. the tightness of the wrist is what makes the glove so hard to break in. as for you, 44s just always come really stiff
@@ballgloveking ok, sound good! thanks for the reply! this is the first glove i’ve ever tried to break in properly, and it’s definitely harder than i thought
Good vid! Love the channel- because of watching your videos I ordered my first 44 a few days ago. Also the Buckler vids influenced me to buy one. I know Nokonas are expensive but would you consider reviewing one?
Would love to hear your thoughts on the implications of an 11.25" (DP88) combined with small hands. Smaller doesn't necessarily seem better when you've got a super shallow pocket and small hands, not much there to secure the ball when their fingers are still short and can't wrap around the ball - is the pocket prone to becoming a cone? Seems like there are more bounce-outs and booted balls than with his 1786.
Hey I just got a new heart of the hide first base mitt and when I got home from the store and started breaking it in I realized a crease was starting to form in the palm. I’ve only been working on it for a little while but I was wondering how to prevent the crease from getting worse?
You should review the Under Armour Flawless 11.5" I-Web. I keep seeing them on websites and they look really nice, but UA has been known to make some cheap stuff in the past...so just wanted your opinion before I spend $350 on it lol
@@ballgloveking Yeah I just like the way the thumb and pinky look like they are already flared from the factory cause the glove I have now is super thick and really hard to bend. I have a Pro-Prefered Rawlings 11.5 I Web and it is crazy stiff on both sides.
So I recently got a Clayton Kershaw A2000 with a pedroia fit. I got the pedroia fit because my last A2000 was standard fit and it kept slipping off my hand. I don’t have small hands but they’re definitely thin with a smaller wrist. I’m a little worried that the glove won’t fit properly but at the same time I feel like once broken in it’ll be just fine. Any tips for reassurance?
Dang man, thanks for bringing to light how hard it was to break in! I’ve had this glove for a while now and it still isn’t fully broken in. I thought with the thinner heel and palm it’d be easier, but nope… thanks for the dope vid!
yea man tight wrist stalls make gloves really hard to break in, i had a 44 with a narrow wrist stall that tooks months to break in, and my recent 44 that had a normal wrist (and i ordered pro stiff) took less than 1 day. its crazy how much of a difference how tight a wrist is goes to breaking in the glove
44 is a good custom option Otherwise look into Buckler Phalanx ($200 on Amazon) And go watch my video on the Rawlings Gamer XLE ($150) Or if you need cheaper then consider the Rawlings R9
Well you shouldn't be catching and holding for a stiff impact, you dampen the blow by receiving the ball. Catchers frame, not infielders or outfielders
I’ve had mine for about a week now, love this thing! At first before the break in process it was a bit uncomfortable because of how tight it was. But after breaking it in, and molding it to my hand it turned out so well!! Great video, as always.

Thank you for saying that bro!

Would love to see a review on the Marrucci Capitol series. Would you ever do that?
Can you do a 44pro catchers mitt review
Shout out to guys who try to break in DP15 models. Those thing feel so tight brand new and I don't even have large hands

Chris what is you opinion on the a2000 1785 at third base?
That would work great bro
Those between the legs catches were nice
A little close to the jewels lol

Could you do a review of the Pro select series from Shoeless Joe and compare it with the regular shoeless Joe glove you tested
I’ll get to it but it’s gonna be a while

Happy early birthday bro! But yeah Wilson already naturally fit smaller hands better and this one is even smaller

Is there a way to loosen up the wrist? Its taking forever to break this in for my son. He's 8 and its tight on his hands.

Gonna customize a 44 for my 8 yr old. Should I go with their youth model or would recommend a different model 44 for him
Please do a review with Asics gloves... I've seen so many players in japan use this brand and i wanna hear a review from you.
I’d like to but ASICS isn’t really around in the US but I’ll probably get to it at one point
fun fact.. the palm is so thin, that balls will impact the MCP joint at the top of your palm/ base of your index finger and bounce.

Hey Chris in your opinion what’s the best high school 3rd basemen glove with no budget?
Right now I’d have to say the Wilson 1787 (or the MC26, same thing)
Or a Rawlings pro200 12” pattern
Then you gotta decide which leather you like most
Ok thanks, any advice on wear to get them?

I'd go Two in the Pinky with a slight flare
try to close thumb to pinky/ring
Shoulda got this, I got a 44 and it’s way to stiff and big for my hands
i have this glove and it’s gotten pretty dirty is there and way i can clean it ?
