Surprised to see Flagstaff so expensive -- I'd never have guessed. I mean $600-800K gets you a REALLY nice (even new-builds) single-family/detached home in Colorado, which I thought was an expensive market. Well, it IS expensive, but apparently Flagstaff is unexpectedly more...thought it'd be maybe $300K cheaper there in northern AZ. -- BR
@@flagstaffazliving Yes, same in CO. There is a nice town-home complex where 2-3 years ago the LARGEST of them was $318K, the smallest $284K. Now the large ones are $500K+. Not doable. ;-) So I'm back in TX now WAITING (and preparing) to buy in 2-3 years, when I hope current mortgage interest rates come down big-time (THAT is my MAIN obstacle) AND an increased housing supply to bring down house prices a bit. I refuse to pay $2K MORE each month for a house that was that much less 2-3 years ago. But if the interest rate came down, I'd save that money for other things (like build-up a savings/cash-reserve). BTW, some years back, I had thought about (& researched real estate) moving to AZ -- but it was in the Anthem, Fountain Hills and North Scottsdale areas. As you say, prices have gone crazy there as well! -- BR
