Starting my no buy today and also putting into practice of loving what I own and actually exploring the stuff I use and see the progress

Just being able to realize that something was a mistake or not the best choice, and considering how you can do it differently next time, is a huge sign of progress! One of the biggest traps with changing our habits is that you're suddenly seeing all of the mistakes rather than living in denial. This can feel a lot like failure, but really is progress towards your goal.

I absolutely agree with you 💯 . You make a great point of seeing all of the mistakes and it can be overwhelming because it's all at once

Part 2: I got a lot done today, I went on 5 different shopping runs to different supermarkets picking up food for the holidays /basics since I don't own a car and have to carry it all home I try to not get too get too heavy a haul. Took hours. Also picked up new artificial Christmas tree + I watched Home Alone in cinema early today and I'm now watching Godzilla evening showing... I even brought my own snacks. So I was busy most of the day especially considering how little I usually get done in a day BUT still I got this negative voice in my head telling me I wasted time /was inefficient and another person would have done so much better than me. I'm beginning to wonder how much harm these mean inner voices really do... I think they are always somewhere in the background when I'm procrastinating and struggling to get up and just do things👀 my goal for next year is to change this

Your comments about how your mindset might hold you back makes me wonder how this could affect someone who is a procrastinator /couch potato etc to me it seems my biggest struggle in general is to get things done, see things through or just get up and do stuff. It's frust and demotivating & I wonder how one could change that. What habits do you need to change? What mindsets might be influencing you to be like that. I always look at people who accomplish so much /just get things done while I'm struggling just to get my butt off the couch 😒 I mean I definitely know that didn't necessarily have good examples to follow as a child so definitely didn't learn discipline or being industrious at home. I am wanting to fix it but sometimes it feels I will never achieve that
