Well, I only just discovered your TH-cam channel and I must say that you have got a great appreciation of the environment around a railway, especially in the north. The whole scene has a completely natural atmosphere, congratulations on what to me is a view of my past as a young lad who loved the railways. About a year ago I decided that after 60 years I would like to build a model railway again. The uncanny thing is that I have chose the same backscene and the same Metcalfe viaduct as you. I just hope that I can achieve the same result as you. Keep up the good work. Bill.
@@peaks4719 Your welcome and Thank you very much for replying to my comment. I would love if you could take a quick look at my page and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve been looking forward to this! This part of your layout has always been one of my favourite scenes but the water elevates it even further. Brilliant job Sam.
@@peaks4719 😂 I’m not sure what diorama to use my WWS resin on but probably a moorland stream. I’ll be really chuffed to be half as good as this - it’s a stunning scene.
Excellent photography Sam of another great video. The water has certainly brought the river alive, and the white water has given it movement. Superb job Sam, as expected of course.
Enjoyed the video and the water pour looks really good! Nice effect with the white water and the finishing touches with the trees on the bank. You just need a fisherman 🎣 on the bank now to complete the scene 😉 cheers Gary
Fantastic, the results speak for themselves! You really have some great talant. I really enjoyed watching how you got those superb results. Best of luck with your new business venture too.
I would like to wish you the very best of luck with setting out on your own in business Lee. I am sure that you will do extremely well judging on the quality of your modeling.
Fantastic result Sam. That's come up really well. That's really added to that scene on your layout, next level. Thanks for the step by step, will be very useful when I finish mine off on Halswell Junction. Like the product too, looks easy enough for even me to use.
I have sooo been waiting for this video and It was definately worth the wait 👏 Fantastic product with incredible results 👌 I will be having a go at this myself in the future 😎
Nice one, if anyone's used to mixing it'll be a painter. You have a good Finnish on that . I've got a large ish area to do snd I'm looking at as much as possible . I have tried a very small stream and so far so good and i put the silicon on the side of the base board and slid the dam on a little downward to stop silicon ooozzin out .. a nice Idea with the box tape I'm going to try that one
Hi Sam, that resin looks like a great product and come the time I shall get some for Exehaven. You’ve done a lovely job and really does bring that scene to life. The dry brushing really works well. Cheers for now Sam, John
Hi ya Sam. Congratulations on all your good news. The resin pour turned out rather well, I think. I’m not familiar with all of WWS products. If they don’t have products similar to WS wave effects and water effects, they should put them out. Easy to work with. And great results. I think your river looks great. Thanks for sharing. See ya next time.
Great video Sam. Was very surprised with how much difference a literally drop of paint made & the fact you showed us in the cup was so useful too. Top marks on your presentation for this. Learnt a lot from this. Cheers for taking the time to create such an informative insight when you have so many other commitments now. Good luck with the photo shoot. Chris is a really nice guy & I bet Peaks47 will look simply stunning with his talent for photography..
Great result Sam 👍 The WWS resin seems to be very forgiving (user friendly) compared to some other brands and the tinting demo was very helpful. I had another box of WWS products arrive the other day which included a couple of tubs of mud. Any demos of this product in your vids ? Cheers 🇦🇺
Nice video Sam I must say you have done a fine job with the river it turned out looking really good with the water effects and all the grenery and stones around the water it all looks very nice. And the depth is perfect too.- Nicholas.
Looks great and really helpful video. Your backscene works really well. Is it a proprietary one or did you get it printed from your own photos digitally stitched together?
That looks great Sam I'll be getting some shortly and having a go. Think I'll try using the WWS clear water cream to put in ripples, basically because I've got some. Did you cover it while it was drying? Cheers Andy
Top draw, just amazing how resin transforms the look of the dry river bed. Very nerving when pouring as one mistake and the whole scene could easily be ruined, you should try 4 kilos next 😆 Glad you added the tint in the end?
Great stuff again , im not on Facebook anymore but wish you all the best in the group and hope your car detailing business thrives 👍😀 and if you could mention my channel on future videos that would be great to give me some traction 👍👍
Thats AMAZING ! The best ive seen to date ! Award Wining !

A very nice job on that water, very realistic and the white really did the trick. I may attempt some white water on my viaduct. Cheers

Sam as a novice could you please explain what the basing glue does before you put the white dry brushing down. regards Chris
The idea was to add current first then the dry brush in theory should catch the edges , not executed to perfection by myself
