Consistency of pulling off arbiter shots are dependant on how long you've played it, to the point where you gain a muscle memory to perfect it. (It might also backfire if you're trying to do short arbiter shot, but then instinct goes 👇)

True, after video I just saw that am now doing longshots constantly, even so I played for around 1 hour overall on this perk

For those who are struggling with longshots, put up a google metronome thats set to 73-85 bpm, time your f clicks to the rhythm
If you find that your clicks arent landing on a certain bpm, you can go up and then try again, but usually the baseline is 73.
Keep practicing it until you can pull it off consistently, once you do, it becomes second nature now.

im an arbiter main and id recommend switching the equipment to koldera or respirator because normally enemies group themselves up normally then you can longshot them
Some times It doesnt work for me, and they can some how spread out. But yeah its better to pick koldera or respirator
my opinion is to use the gas as i do suck with arbiter and i find it hard to group them lol
I prefer holo more for grouping enemies

I prefer shrapnel device or throwing knives as arbiter. I also usually go with a trait build that's more frontline oriented, my default is dependable, survivor, and manic. Dependable and survivor make me tankier and reduce the amount of healing items I need, and manic to go with maria or deci, Arbiter technically has the highest BASE melee damage at +35%(I say base damage bc of the existence of berserker and executioner abilities), so with higher tier melee weapons you will one-shot most normal scavs with a single heavy. If needed I might replace one of these traits(usually survivor or manic) with a gun trait like professional to be able to mag-dump high hp enemies with automatic weapons, otherwise I primarily use shotguns and semi-automatic guns(Or, if I'm lucky enough to find one, low-recoil SMGs like mpx, scorpion, mp5, and vector).

"pro" tip: if you can't longshot then don't, just pressing f still does a hefty chunk of scavs hp, and stuns them. But if you can longshot, then you should since its more lethal. (Also dont go for longshots at point blank range, it does self damage)
pro is in quotes because I suck at this game, but still, the regular shotshell works fine for me
i take it that when u say cant u mean only hit longshots 4 times out of 15 or smth
also fun fact, unlike normal bombs that do reduced friendly fire, your self damage is unaffected and still do 90 damage to you (longshots do 90 damage)
For hitting F again just try to think before hitting the F key at the right time, because your F key for arbiter is like a pulling the trigger, also try looking at your F key to make sure that your hitting it correctly
i think you press F twice to longshot i guess? i mean they say wait till your arms extended then you F again
There are some tutorials, but mostly yeah. Press F twice.
If you will play arbiter all time after while you will be able to hit longshots consistently
reminder when having Fire Axe or Firerer Axe:
Having Aggressive Behaviour, Violent Tendencies are a good choice when also using Beserker, just have a bunch of stims near you and youra killing machine (having that one trait that reduces dmg is also good)

I haven’t played the game for myself yet but I can already say that Arbiter is my fav perk
you see, the little stupid kid i am, i decieded it would be a good idea to try to learn the exact timing of the longshot instead of just jumping. Days of shortshelling just to be beaten by space bar.
I learned it without jumping bye just listening to a beat

Arbiter, strong knee-cap and health, big muscle for melee combat but bit slow for using gun. Still he good perk for both combat and shoting if you have a bit skill :)))

I mostly do a long press (idk how long) and then i press f as fast as i can and boom longshot
If you want to learn quick how to do the longshot jump, press f, and when you start falling press f again.
(Or press f, jump, and when star falling press f again idk the order)
Most likely you didnt notice, but some of longshots I did was me doing what you said.
And till this day i still cant perform long shot (vagabond solo is still better imo)
Also i got this vaga run where i got a backpack, S44, 2 I4Ss, Tact armour and redeemer only for it to end when i tried to solo SQ with all i got (i got crippled and 1 morale from my newbie friend, dont blame him tho)
Edit: the thing i mentioned was all obtained during Night 1
There are tutorials to do it, the one I use is based around jumping. ( Jump and at the same time press F, then wait a bit until you begin fall press F again )

here is another series of tips from a guy who played DW for nearly 500 hours and spent nearly 250 hours playing arbeiter
simply, time your ability, and you are just a upgraded survivalist that can throw out upgraded impact grenades every 10 seconds, Literally. (Get Professional Trait if you wanna be able to use guns better)
ngl i just use throwing knifes cause im too used to using it and im mostly a solo player or holos if i wanna box the queen
