As you may know that i explained the guide a bit fast, you can freely pause the video anytime
Always to keep in mind that the longshot's purpose is to decimate enemies from far range, hence its ability name, using it in close range as a result of your death if you're below 90 hp, but you can do this after you beat the game for the funni.
Dont frontline too much, you need to use arbiter longshot and guns in the beginning of the late waves.
Perk Combos as an Arbiter
- Arbiter + Hivemind + Crosslink
Arguably the OP perk combo, once enemies are trapped and slowly seakened by the hivemind, Arbiter then will do a longshot
- Arbiter + Zealot
Zealot will Hold F to take care the melee scavs, Arbiter then must longshot before the scavs bteak the shield, only works in early waves
- Arbiter + Lazarus
Lazarus will stun the scavs with booster shot, and Arbiter must quickly perfom the long shot
- Arbiter + Sovereign
Sovereign must hex the scavs, Arbiter then use tear gas on hexed enemies, and convert them into thralls with the long shot
- Arbiter + Drifter
Drifter will lure the scavs to the arbiter, drifter then stun the savs, cloak the arbiter too, arbiter then go distance from the scavs and long shot them
- Arbiter + 3 Prophets
With triple Prophet scans, Arbiter can disintegrate scavs above 150 hp, make sure all the scavs are scanned by the prophet trios.

A small tip for using Arbiter longshot
Stay calm, Arbiter’s effectiveness is based off how calm you are. Panicking will result in failing longshots in times of need. Slow down if you feel like you’re going to fast. Practice first in low-pressure situations (looting phases at base) and increase the pressure little by little (wave 1, wave 3, scav war, wave 5, etc.) until you can consistently do it in any situation
A decent tip is just go ahead and play ultrakill

@@jennyjin1617 That's fine, just keep practicing and you'll get better at it. Took me 1 whole year just to do it consistently (don't be dishearted by that, I'm just a slow learner lol) but I believe you can do it in 3-4 months with semi-consistent gameplay
@@Randahlian I’m at the stage where I can hit like 5 in a row in most situations but occasionally, I forget how to do it for like 3 whole nights

It's a shockshell. And this game is set in the future where people are already physically augmented. So you won't feel pain by punching a shockshell going in the direction shot from. Plus it also explains how you can punch ppl to death

The way projectile parry on the floor damage you or staying near the parried projectile explosion radius is very accurate in ultrakill

I’d like to point out that I believe arbiter has the highest base melee damage increase of any frontliner(it’s a roughly 35% damage increase. Berserker, on the other hand, I think has a 25% damage increase last time I checked, not counting ability of course)
Might sound strange but this alone showed me how to longshot lol
same its really easy just remember shoot either 0% after shot or when arm extends fully
i usually make my traits build off of the arbiter's melee buffs because it makes frontlining easier
i got so many mixed signals from the thumbnail its actually insane

Easiest method I mastered is press f and jump at the same time,if you stop and began to fall,press f again while longshotting,watch out there surroundings to make sure you hitted the scavs.

arbiter is a decent multi-purpose perk thats effective with both melee and firearms. longshot is a pretty important requirement for all whom play arbiter as its powerful and can clear places with ease. at times you may also jump then longshot to use more of it's range. in later waves, longshot groups of atleast 3 or highly destructive enemies (most notably being AKs and shotgunners). firearms that you should also primarily focus on getting are hi-capa, AKM, KSG(might suck cause of slow reload) or any other low recoil gun like AS Val and Vector. also you *can* cancel reloads by pressing H (fix arm). thats all i have to say as a person who played arbiter and still play arbiter. overall good guide i watched it multiple times cause i was bored 👍
TL;DR use low recoil guns, longshot consistently and know the basis of parrying if frontlining. also please ADS arb hipfire accuracy is garbage

@@fadhilunjaki I play solo almost exclusevely, if I can't pass it alone, how am I gonna do it with others giving me morale? And for solo this is very bad, only the KSG is a viable shotgun really
Imagine if arbiter and shoot his explosive shot to launch himself up then shoot a longshot at a wall so he can reach further distance,.

I have a tip to learn longshot you press F and jump at the same time and as you start loosing upward momentum from the jump you press F again thats how i learned to time it of course you can use the fully extended arm or the beep sound que but i think the jumping method is the easiest and even such a bafoon like me can learn it

What I do, is I cheese almost every wave with my delta friend. I make him use the holded f abillty and then I long shot every enimie next to him
arbiter long shot is like V1 punch parry
one of the most fun perks to play just loses to apostle (my opinion)

Remember, if you have skill issue at timing, you can use macro

@@laplann5406 bro, don't, it's cringe (and also can kill you when you forget about it and try to regular shellshot and enemy in front of you)
Use 60 or 90 bpm metronome (video on TH-cam) it literally made longshotting so easy for me, that I just didn't even notice how I started to time it perfectly without relying on sound every second.
TL:DR
Time is anything between 0.9 to 1 second, for macro, use literally any available.

in emergency situations while reloading u can cancel with pressing h and switching to other slot
but itll also discard your ammo in return
@@gojo5621 yeah but for some emergency stuff it needed, for example a dream stan running towards to you and you are reloading u will want to cancel reloading and parrying it with switching melee

Here's another thing to add, DO NOT do shellshot jump with longshot. Worst mistake of my life, for 1. It does 90 HP and well the other thing, you'll see because I know you boutta do what I told you not to.

I am a no lifer I got 800k exp from arbiter alone and I can't mess up my longshots
A fun way to take out enemy knowing that ur gonna die anyway is:longshotting at close range
(This is for when u know ur gonna die anyway and it helps more if u have teammate cuz ur basically a kamikaze guy)
Quick longshot fact:it does the same damage as it does to scav aka 90 damage and the range is as long as an Lazarus beam while normal shot does around 50
If u main arbiter like me aka no lifer then you would've already known
Arbiter fact:Melee passive for arbiter is the highest melee passive and if u use honorable then u get around 33 damage (heavy hit) fist damage with no food and drink
Use defense traits to become and absolute tank and I personally chose tormented
My traits that no one asked for:tormented, honorable, manic
(Yes I like to spam heavy)
Note:idk the exact timing of the longshot cuz I just saw TH-cam and magically can do it
Another thing that I forgot to point out:is NEVER hip fire as arbiter if u have broken arm either use something that removes fracture or revert to melee and ur perk cuz the hip fire accuracy is worse than a woman aim and done feel free to break your leg cuz u can't
I can't explain much more than what the video does cuz it's a really good video with a lot of good points

Also all of that is a good fact if u want to be a constant melee god just use maria if u don't have 2 morale but use decimator if u have
Cuz decimator is slower but stronger damage while maria weaker and just enough to take out most scavs but 2 morale or more is gonna screw you up
Also for equipment use either koldera or tear gas cuz if u have longshot then the knife is kinda obsolete(except when fighting tanky bosses)
But with my traits u can kill the sickler with decimator with less than 3 morale or maria with less than 2 morale if u have more either use guns or leave it alone
Fun fact: You can also do "gun build" with arbiter since arbiter is already tanky its also good to make him pretty gud with guns

Look your guide is okay-ish but be careful on your trait selection because some traits are simply a waste on Arbiter: lone wolf's main usage is to have perfect hip fire accuracy, fanning and levering (done with hip fire)...the fact however is that Arbiter's hip fire accuracy debuff is one of the WORST in the game rendering you unable to benefit from lone wolf's three quirks, therefore it's useless, methodical is another example of a useless trait as Arbiter has the highest non ability related melee damage buff in the game. The equipment choice is absolutely horrid...tear gas is NOT useful for Arbiter in any application besides evasion and escape as the shellshot itself already has a busted 50 studs radius which is more than enough to clear a clump of enemies besides each others even at a distance (and even in evasion the shellshot is better than tear gas)...the throwing knives are also a waste as you are able to collect rations by simply using your regular shellshot up close paired with a heavy swing from any melee weapon with 75% or 100% heavy swing weight (assuming it does 45 damage points or above) or by simply, you know, KILLING MELEE SCAVENGERS. Jumping techniques for map control and travelling don't have to be what you're showcasing in the video, i.e. looking down brainless-ly and pressing F, you can (with practice) learn the perfect angles for every jump height and not suffer from the 15 fall damage. Please consult other players experienced with the relative guide perk because some misinformation can lead to players believing trash synergies are good when they are not.
