I get the biggest kick out of the Ram/Ford fanboy comments. As far as the Rams 12.6" infotainment system...why? I understand that there's a demographic of truck buyers who want these features and although I think they're nice, I personally have no need for it. I'm too old school I suppose, and feel that if you want every bell and whistle with luxury attached, buy a Navigator or Yukon Denali. While at first the newly designed Silverado/Sierra HD's were hard on the eyes, I have grown to actually quite like their looks. I like the 1500 Silverado/Sierra looks too for 2019/2020 and think that GM has a nice line up on their hands. I will say that for what the manufacturers are charging for their trucks, I will not be buying anytime soon. I bought my first house for $42,500 (although that was almost 30 years ago)and to buy a vehicle that is more than my first house is ludicrous.
Would have been nice to quote the specific towing capability of the 2500 especially since GM added an extra sticker in the door of the truck which is specific to each truck. The quoted value was for a 3500 dually truck
I like the front tow hooks being Vertical and pushed out. My 2017 Duramax has the horizontal and tucked in. These are easier to get to, look more aggressive and add extra protection.
Nice truck. Dont like the def = demcrat exhaust fluid and system, push button start and mirrors. I still like a traditional tailgate that you get out and open by hand.
Great post. Two questions. 1) When you did the rear seat demonstration, was the driver seat in your normal driving position? 2) If the answer to question one is yes, what is your height?
Nice review despite all the negative comments. Bit rich for my blood but if i could get $30k for my 2005 3500 dually with 35,000 miles it might be worth it. Guess i need to visit the GMC website and see what the options are.
To many bells and whistles for work, it's an absolutely beautiful luxury vehicle-truck. They finally got a stroke of genus at GMC/ Chevrolet and designed a power inlet switch for the engine warmer, WOW, it's about time! How about relocating the DEF fill spout behind the fuel door, WOW it's about time! These designs in practicality are totally element. The warranty that's offered is laughable as well, considering the vehicle coast, not to mention the moment it's drive off the lot 35% of it's value is gone. The consumer is the one getting jackleg in this deal. Good luck selling these cheese burgers in this recessionary economy.
Bought my 2020 2500 At4 brand new off the lot in august 2020 for 74k, just refinanced it from 4.9 to 2.5 with a different bank and when they did there appraisal they showed the truck goes for 76-79k, my friend who was working at the same company im working at and unfortunately was laid off due to production cuts went to work for GMC Cadillac he was the one i bought it from, i was joking around with him about selling my truck to get away from the payment, a couple weeks later he called me back saying ( hey if you really want to get rid of that truck we will buy it back from you for what you paid for it, and i will have it sold in a couple hours for more then what we paid you back for it, this was a couple days ago when i talked to him, they are selling a basic model AT4 with pretty much the basic shit as it gets for 79,899 and it has 14,000 miles on it mine has 13,000 and it has every bell and whistle i could have put on it. So no it did not loose any value at all,
This is a really nice truck and I was actually looking at them but I have to say that GM really did copy a lot of Ford features and I own a 18 platinum and that’s just my opinion.
while were inside the truck Im gonna show you inside, and then take a look inside the truck, so...lets get inside and take it for a spin while we're inside.
The orange reflector/light on the wheel wells look ridiculous. Rear bumper is wimpy. The nose is nice. The truck sits perfect on side view... Very beefy looking. Interior is still plain. But the deal breaker is the price $60-$80k. These truck mortgages are out of hand.
So I guess we won’t show a big fat guy climbing up the tailgate step now? That step must now officially be a good idea that GM finally copied it from FoMoCo. Aluminum on the frame? I guess GM Aluminum must be of better quality cause it was stupid when FoMoCo put it in non load bearing parts. Oh and I hear GM now has a Carbon Fiber bed which is so much more economical to fix then an Aluminum one after a fender bender. I’ll bed every body shop has autoclaves laying around. LMAO
$75k for a truck....u r OUT OF YOUR MINDS! An additional 10k for the desiel engine. That desiel is not anywhere near worth and additionsl 10k to make and install. You guys are high on something.
Previous years were "bouncy"? Aluminum frame? Come on! I've owned a 2015 High Country HD and a 2018 SLT HD, both Diesels. Neither were "bouncy". I bet this guys does not own a late model truck. This guy is full of you know what.
I used it alot these past weeks, been loading 80lb cement bags and it makes it a breeze getting them futher into the bed of the pickup then having to prop it up on tail gate and having to push it in the rest of the way, it also nice for when my wife needs to hope up in the box and needs a step to do so. Its already on the pickup so why not use it i like it.
BEST PRESENTATION YET!
Thanks!
The towing specs you just announced is for 3500. 2 wheel drive dually
Stainless steel frame? I don’t think that’s correct.
Gm’s most beautiful truck !!
We agree Jim!

I love that you showed exterior views of the truck driving it looks really nice
They still need an interior upgrade. Ford needs on as well.

I like the function to the mirrors and I understand wanting a key but the convenience of keyless entry is wonderful.
Great post. Two questions. 1) When you did the rear seat demonstration, was the driver seat in your normal driving position? 2) If the answer to question one is yes, what is your height?
Sweet!
Great job on the video.I am sold. You showed me alot I didn't know. Thanks from Raleigh NC
Great job as always John!
Thanks!
Price? Didn’t hear ya say what it cost
Love this truck I wish I had one.
If you have a trailer ball in the receiver and you unfold the tailgate it will dent the tailgate seen a couple with dents in them :(
Definitely a draw back, as I own an AT and always have a ball on.
Alpha Co, 2nd BN(Mechanized), 41st Infantry, 1st Tiger BDE, 2AD, Ft Hood, TX, 6/83-1/85...
"Straight and Stalwart, SIR!!!"
How do you release the Tailgate if the truck loses power?
I’ve seen about 10 of these in person and not a single one had the running lights
I need to buy it ❤️ that GMC
I like this video. Nicely done bro!
If I ever find one of these for $59k NEW I'll buy it with a 6.6 diesel Duramax engine.
But $68-80k? Nope.
You will def find these new for $59k. I have the Duramax 2017 Midnight 3500 and the sticker is $72k and it was marked down to 62K on a "promotion."
😊😊
😊😊
GMC ❤
2:57
And ur tailgate just hit the ball
Very detailed, thanks for the video 2500 AT4 hd 2020 is a truck I'm thinking of buying. If I can find a dealer that has one
Glad we could help, thanks for watching!!

Taking delivery of my 2020 3500HD AT4 in about a week...
Do you know if you can get this truck with the double as opposed to the extended cab? thanks
Hey thanks for watching. The Sierra 2500 AT4 is available in regular cab, double cab and crew cab.
Smail Buick GMC Cadillac Ok great!... thanks you!
I think you did a great job on this review, very informative
He say its equip with dual rear wheels(dually) 5:57🤔looks like a single rear wheel
Hi! Sorry for the confusion... he was saying if you have this 2500 equipped with dual rear wheels and diesel, the towing capacity is 35,500.
@@Smailbuickgmc ok i see that Thanks for the clarification
Smail Buick GMC Cadillac what’s the towing capacity with the single ????
VERY VERY GOOD
Fuel door!
Not a big fan of the new side mirrors

Wrong Buddy, that Truck has 910 ft. lbs. of Torque not 460, and has 445HP...
wow

Thanks for checking it out, we appreciate your input!
Dual rear wheels? Must be reading the wrong spec sheet....🙄
Tailgate needs more doors

soon as it rains most of those cameras are useless lol
Rain isn't usually a problem with cameras and sensors. They do sometimes need cleaned off in snow or bad weather, though.
GM has a winner here. I just found out the POWERWAGON has a 1127lb PAYLOAD 😂😂🤣🤣 this AT4 is just short of 3000lbs
Los Angeles Lakers the one I tested today was 3100 for payload. More than enough for me.
This isn’t a review it’s a salesman talking about things in the truck and then driving it
35500 towing capacity wow 😳 really
Standard cab, 2WD dually...
😊😊

😊😊
The music in the background made it hard to understand you.
Thanks for the input, Pat. We'll keep that in mind

I like this truck. But the Denali is way better IMO. The 2020 Denali is the best looking truck on the market
Thanks for the input, Ryan!

The 1 tons were 'bouncy' I guess but really just stiff. Any tiny bump you were gonna feel it. But that's expected when you have an extra leaf spring

Look at the badass stuff we created under Trump... and now these trucks sit because we can't get microchips under Biden.
😊😊

this guy barely knows this truck, poor review, decent truck
Troy Smith lol, I completely agree. I was thinking the exact same thing before I saw ur comment. He is clueless
I like the 470 lb ft torque. lol
😊😊
😊😊
😊😊
80k with old fashion antennas.😂
They Stole the Tundra TRD wheels.. lol. The tail gate is way too busy and over engineered. Its a tail gate
I have an AT and never use that BS. Standard gate would of been fine.
I used it alot these past weeks, been loading 80lb cement bags and it makes it a breeze getting them futher into the bed of the pickup then having to prop it up on tail gate and having to push it in the rest of the way, it also nice for when my wife needs to hope up in the box and needs a step to do so. If you can't beat them. RAM them. With that 12.6 screen. RAM is teaching the competition how to build a 75k truck.
The radio screen has nothing to do with a "good truck". You must be a millennial.
😊😊
😊😊
😊😊
Stainless steel frame lol. , have gm send you to school
Ford has this thing beat 40 different ways.
rubicon1983 which Ford? F250?
Yep
rubicon1983 unfortunately the ford won’t last ya

Gosh that thing is ugly.
