wish they made the 10spd with the gas motor too... also the transparent trailer i read only works with bumper pulls that are 32ft or less... sucks for fifth wheel guys or big travel trailers
Thanks for the comment Jason, on paper I wish the gas had an 8-10 speed but honestly after driving it my opinion has changed I highly recommend driving it sir. As for the transparent trailer it works with 5th wheels for sure.
This 2020 GMC sierra AT4 is my dream truck. But the only thing is i wish with the AT4 had wrangler duratrack tires.the wrangler duratrack tires are the best tires.but the AT4 has trail runners. I know gmc can do a whole lot better.
I noticed the speedometer gauge reading up to 200mph. My 2018 GMC Sierra All Terrain cant go over 98/99 mph since its governed from the factory. With all that being said has anything changed on these new trucks to allow you to drive faster?
Hey Mark thanks for the comments, most speedometers are governed at 160kms plus minus 2kms. As you probably know they are governed at that speed to help prevent/reduce excessive speed accidents which are often the most fatal.
Excellent video. I appreciate how in depth your description was. Nice 👍. I mayyyyy disagree with the truck being good looking though- those mirrors- eek 😬. I know- beauty is subjective, but I think they fouled it up by trying to hard. Too much going on. Also, working guys like myself who buy and use these trucks know that all those electronic “features” just break after one snow season, which I personally find utterly exasperating. I’d love to see another review in the middle of winter. Things like the electronic parking brake?! In the real world that’s completely unnecessary, and I see it becoming problematic. Also how all the electronics turn it off automatically and the such is annoying because sometimes you may want it on if your fighting attaching a plow, and have to nudge the truck forward with the rear wheels locked or if your loading the truck in a muddy spot or many off road situations. My two cents. And hey- I know you didn’t design any of that stuff, so nothing personal. Like I said, your video was excellent. I felt compelled to give a perspective of someone who actually uses these trucks every day and what I think about them. Thank you for such a detailed video of the new truck. One that I’d like to buy if GMC gave me two sets of every electronic bit as back up- since, hey let’s be real, GMC isn’t known for producing high quality electronics- I know because I have one. Haha. All the best.
Appreciate the comments Dan! I live in Canada, it was -35 Celsius this past January...like most of Canada due to a Polar Vortex but I regress my point is that the trucks work up here but I sure do agree with you that when it comes to todays vehicles electronics are usually the issue not transmission or engines, cheers!
Hey Lyle, the short answer is yes! The long answer is many GM vehicles have been able to be started with an OnStar app called RemoteLink since 2011 and in 2014 GM added 4G LTE WiFi in nearly all their vehicles too. GM was first to market with this technology sir, cheers!
Nice tailgate I will say except the step will hit your hitch ball if you have one in like I always do. I remember when GM however used to give crap to Ford with their "Man step" And now they have one lol
Hitting your hitch is a possibility if your using one of those Tri Ball Mounts i'd lower it slowly the first time to double check the height, thanks for the comments!
If you tow a lot, you’ll have a trailer hooked up, so why would you need to lower that part of the tailgate anyway? How is it different than any other tailgate? You don’t have to use that part of the functionality.
@@98stand The part of removing the hitch would suck. I dont always have a trailer hitched up so when it isn't it would be cool to have but I'm not going to daily or multiple times daily pull the hitch just to use the step feature. I probably would not opt for that option (if it's an option) as the step is half the reason I would want it. It's a cool concept but with a bad design flaw that may have been hard to overcome.
Well GM put them on the HD Sierra's only not the HD Silverado's so maybe its just a trial. I don't think they look bad but I can see how it's not for everyone.
I really need one of those, but my checkbook says I need to work harder first.
Picking mine up tomorrow!! Gonna listen to this video closely

Or, here’s a great idea, if you’re not towing, take your hitch ball off.
@@98stand For those of us who tow a lot, that idea sucks.

The all new not allison transmission
You obviously know nothing about the history of GM and Allison 😂😂😂
Cuanto sale el precio GMC,,2500
$75,000 - $85,000 🤨😱
75 grand
Those engineers need to get rid of reflectors/turn signals on fender flares, nasty looking like a car

Those mirrors ...the lemon slice rims. The interior. The marker lamps in the plastic wheel well trim... No. Just No.
