Hi, I have a finished basement with numerous can lights. Sometimes, when I turn them on, they don't flicker, but will permanently blink (turn off and on) continually. The strange thing is that it randomly does it, and sometimes they stay on working fine. Greatly appreciate your insight.
Mr Bickimer, the driver circuit does not cause flicker ? I was about to try to prise open the bulb and maybe put the LED board on aother bulb's driver, when I saw your video.
I'm confused on the second light that's the kind that I have and they're flickering so you're saying if we just take that light bulb out and replace it? Is it just started with one and now it's on all six of them thank goodness I don't have epilepsy or anything like that make me go into convulsions
Michael I replaced my bulb with one of those single piece led lights but it still flickers like its over heating.the strangest part is that if I switch it back to a regular light bulb it works just fine. It just turns on and off constantly (the LED I mean) I'm at my whitts end. What do I do
Michael , I appreciate you knowledge, thanks for your help
OH MY GOODNESS! It was the TAB at the base 😄 Thank you Sir! 😘
P.S.
I'm a scaredy cat and turned off the breaker.
Thank you, great video, great explanation
Thank you my tabs were pushed in a bit too much!!!
Lol now I gadda search "how to open recessed lighting cover to get to the bulb"

What do you do if the led light is flickering?? I have 6 in my kitchen but only 1 flickers
Most likely it's a loose neutral.
Could also be a bad led light.
Same problem here! Replaced it and also just put a normal bulb up there to test and its still doing it...randomly started 😑 did you ever find a fix?

Hey Steve. Is it on a regular switch or a dimmer switch?
What do you recommend if the led lights flicker a lot and burn through bulbs like crazy? Thanks
Are they on a dimmer?
@@bickimerelectricllchello, I’m having an issue with my LED randomly flickering when “off.” It is connected to a dimmer. Any suggestions?
can this guy speak?
🤦♂️👎
