I've never seen Maki showcased this well before. A lot of the Japanese promotions (not all, thankfully) underutilized her and made her look incompetent. But clearly she's got as much physical talent as she does a talent for trolling.

She's very electric. She's got charisma. She's alright in the ring and with a couple of more years of training she will be a huge star. I can see her as a smaller underdog that always manages to try their hardest and attempt to succeed. Kind of like Rey Mysterio or Crash Holly.

AEW needs to bring more of those Female Japanese wrestlers to the company, there women’s division is weak right now , that’s the only reason Shida is still champion no competition for her .
I kind of suspect Shida could lose this one -- Ryo is pretty strong. I'm glad it's not a repeat of Nyla Rose, though.
