Your right about the heated steering wheel. Once you have it you never want another car without it. But people who have not experienced it won't spend the money. I added the illuminated door sills to my parents RDX because they would never spend the money on that. But after having it installed they were very impressed. It gives the car an upscale look. So you might consider it.
Thanks for the feedback! I know they definitely are a nice touch. The NSX ones are even carbon fiber which looks intriguing. You're right though, with the steering wheel and even the door sills, if you've never experienced them, you don't realize what nice touches they are!
Looking real good I've had my tiger eye for a month now & people love the color, so far I've installed aftermarket side skirts, also waiting for the winglets & spats for rear, plus aftermarket wheels, I'd also like to lower it which would really set it off

With 400HP and 2WD (RWD) mode this car would be 💥. A lot of people saying that they aren't missing RWD character of car as on regular basis you don't feel whether its RWD or FWD. "This car satisfies all your need putting power to the ground perfectly" Said a friend.

Really helpful video. Was really wondering about heated steering and how does side skirts look. Also, can you confirm if you have 360 camera?
No 360 camera in the US, only Mexico and Canada unfortunately

Dang. One local dealer quoted $500 just to install the side skirts and rear bumper underspoilers.
Did you install the side and rear side spoilers yourself or did the dealer do it for you? Beautiful car. I’m still waiting for mine after 7 months.
I get the wait, trust me.... but it's worth it! I had the dealer do those.
My RLX has puddle lights and the exterior door handles have lights at night when the key fob is in proximity. Does the TLX Type S have this feature?
It does have the puddle lights but not the door handle lights. Those were nice touches!
Hey 1st off thanks for all your reviews. Do you feel the all season mats are flimsy as the trunk tray as mentioned?

I have the Type S interior all seasons and they’re not thin.. worth it in my opinion. I always get all seasons and they hold up.
So, from everything Ive read is that a 19 will clear those brembos so why not use the fronts of an nsx that is the same design, but pretty much 13 pounds lighter than the TLX "lightweight wheels". Haven't seen anyone do that yet. They're only like 100 bucks more per wheel too.
I've been on the fence with the underbody spoiler kit but PRL having excellent sale. Game changer after install? I have a plat white and can't find too many on tube...thanks
Man, to me it really embodies the car. Plat white with the black accents I think would look really good!

Is the surround view camera available to put on as an accessory?? And also have you thought about getting the welcome lights
Unfortuantely it's not an accessory, and not an enhnancement as it's a completely different wiring harness for the car after chatting with the product planner for TLX. Hopefully the Mid Model refresh will have it! Fingers crossed! The car does have the puddle welcome lights standard, but I will not be getting the illuminated door sills... too spendy!
@@503pdxCars Yeah i know the door stills do cost a lot but there is welcome lights that go under the side skirts when you unlock the car to light up the ground which is a nice luxury touch
Do you know if its possbible to get an orchid color heated steering wheel. Saw the new MDX type S has one and it looks identical. Wondering if it can be swapped with the TLx
I don't... every MDX Type S Steering wheel I've seen has been black. Are you referring to the stitching color?
@@503pdxCars Sorry, yes, the stitching. When i got my type s i was told that thr heated wheel only came with the red stitching. It would be great if the MDX heated steering wheel with orchid stitching is a direct swap.
@@lcfan214 Ahhh yes, I believe the red stitching is the only option for the heated wheel. It would be awesome if they could color match the stitch to the interior options but I believe it's cost prohibitive :(

just left the dealership after putting a down payment on a white type s with red interior and I think this video is what made me add all the accessories that you did 😂 .. can't wait til I get it hopefully by the end of the week.. unfortunately the one they had coming didn't have the performance wheels.. but I guess living in NY maybe the all seasons will be easier so I don't have to keep swapping tires every 6 months
What does it make difference if they have performance wheels or not? Thanks

How have the orchid seats held up?
Fine. I’ve had no issues with them. Really do love them. I clean them with light pressure on a wet magic eraser then condition

Where did you get your hat
I actually received this at the Long Beach Grand Prix in 2021. Check with your local dealer, I've seen similar (although not exactly the same) hats on dealer shelves now! I love this hat!
Was hoping the interior cf was replacement pieces to cover up that awful piano black.
I just despise that large area of gloss black on the rear bumper.

I think the carbon should have been gloss
I got mine clear coated to match the interior carbon inserts, its so much better than the sun bleached look of the matte carbon.
Lots of people do like the gloss, I'm a fan of the flatter look

It currently has 8500. I’ve had it since August 2021 and it’s been from Portland to LA 2 times
@@503pdxCars no worries. I love mine too. It's a comfortable ride. Some cars get uncomfortable after 2hours but I can sit in this car for a while
