Guys the only thing about having the weight of the spare tires past the axle is it increases the rotational inertia of the rear (in terms of yaw moment). You'll definitely have more traction over the axle in a straight line, but thats a lot of mass past the axle... if the rear starts to slide you have to deal with all of that mass and it'll be harder to tame it! I would move them centered above the axle if possible! Great build either way! You guys look like you're having a blast.
In offroad you want more weight in the rear to try keeping the front floating because it takes more impact than the rear which becomes very sketchy the faster you go. If you look at most trophy trucks, you'll see that they have about a 100-gallon tank sitting under or around the two spare tires to get the weight transferred to the back. They don't care entirely of turning characteristics because offroad courses are way rougher than street courses. If you don't believe me, you can check out Terra Crews built to destroy videos
Please don't be delusional they can't do anything else already lots of people left donnut and made videos shit talking the company. If the hosts that people are more familiar with did the same, the backlash would hurt them more than a promotion on one video
Man, I loved donut at first big videos (up to speed). But, for at least 2 years now, I'm subscribed and don't watch almost anything. I know that the channel is doing fine, but I'm sure many OG viewers are subscribed just because they USED to like donut, and were eager to watch every video the day it launched. Today, I may watch 1 in 25 videos that Donut releases, probably less. And back them, I was talking about donut videos with my friends, like "did you watch that video??" ou "you have to watch this video duuuude". I literally can't remember a single Donut video that I wanted to show to someone this year. This is a turning point for Donut, to go back to passion and to make content that makes the people who put sweat into the videos feel happy about what they doing.

As I said on another comment, they can't do anything else. A lot of donnut stuff left and shit talked them if the hosts that the people are more familiar with did the same donnut would get a big backlash. So they settled with a promotion and the guys will just say they agreed to disagree

You can also weld aluminum TO steel, but it's not at all an easy thing to do and they almost certainly don't have the right equipment in the shop to pull it off. Love the wrap job. Chrome wrap on custom race vehicles always looks good. The only thing I would change would be the spare tire wheel placement. Stacking them like this OO makes it harder to change the wheel. I would do them like this [][] upright, side by side. Makes it easier to roll off and on after you unlatch them with only one person needed. If you have to change a tire during a race, speed is of the essence.

O7 Donut.
No James during the wrap reveal makes me 😢
Donut has handled this situation so well, too bad most of their viewers haven’t
For your next build project, go even harder! I want to see you guys do a Locost! Love what you do!
i clench every time Nolan starts cutting something
🗣 PROGRESS. THATS WHAT WERE HERE FOR. IMPROVING EVERYDAY. PRACTICING. UNTIL YOU'RE PERFECT. AND EVEN WHEN YOU'RE PERFECT, NOT STOPPING THE PRACTICE. Cuz that's how you get rusty. That's how you get out of shape"
Damn, sucks to see my favorite donut hosts leave. With no more high low and no more series’ i’ll probably leave with them. It’s been real
There is going to be another high low series
That's how you do a departure. Respect for both parties can't wait to see what big times does and where doughnut goes.
Best of luck.
Never thought I’d get bricked up from a Donut video
22:00 ARE MOM AND DAD GETTING A DIVORCE IS IT MY FAULT
The work that you guys have put into this truck is INSANE 😫
Fucking awesome that yall had Sean in this video he is an awesome fabricator and is Mike Essas friend and also one of the guys that is working on DDEs F12 Gymkhana car ! Also hes currently working on getting his pilots license ! Freaking crazy cool guy !
So cool that you guys are building a prerunner , been watching you guys for years for the car stuff but awesome you guys took a direction in what I love the most
I think this is one of the best build series on donut so far 👌
Jeremiah: “Even one panel gap and we throw the whole truck away”
Nolan: 😳
Now that your two best personalities are gone, so am I. Its become very clear that "Donut" is more about the money than the cars now. James rarely showing up and when he does its in his g-wagon, I feel Justin is the only real person here, that actually represents the viewers. It was fun while it lasted but all channels that lost touch (Doug and Hoovie too) there are a hundred holding to their laurels (throttle house and straight pipes) that losing you doesn't hurt.
Well, donut got bought up by another company. I feel the same as you but dont go hating on the guys on the screen, at this point they are just working for a contract. There is much more going on behind the camera than what we can ever see, and these guys have little to nothing to do with it.
@@Pysenn Recurrent is the destructor of good content.. They destroyed the bob villa show where every video they post is just a huge ad for a product.. This channel will die just like the others they got their hands on..
Imagine Donut doing Tesla durability test with guns
That's @KentuckyBallistics
They live in Cali, only guns they can get there hands are nerf guns and even then people get scared when you bring them out in public.
12:56 Did the same thing cutting through a frozen bagel when I was 11, I was an idiot like most kids. After school one day, I decided I wanted a snack. They were frozen of course and we had a dedicated bread/bagel knife. This knife had square teeth, like little razor blades. As I was rotating it in one hand while slicing ot, the center finally gave and straight to the bone of my left thumb. Got lucky like Jer and didn't hit a tendon. Was cool I saw my own bone at 11 though and the kitchen looked like Texas chainsaw Massacre; blood on the counter, on the floor, in the sink, on the cupboards and most impressively on the ceiling.
NOLAN STOP DOUBTING YOUR SELF YOU ALWAYS PUT YOUR SELF DOWN WHEN YOUR DOING AMAZING
Imma miss jobe and Jeremiah
Yes
Zach and Jeremiah moving onto bigger and better, Donut isn’t what it was only a few years ago, such a disappointment.
